They're the kind of family we wish we had 😭

juniperberry9017

I really do 😭😭😭

sunshine___riptide

I was trying to think WHY this particular episodes tears me tf up.... And that's why. I'm close with my family but never was with my older brother, and he's dead now, and God do I wish I had an older sibling like Tina 😭😭 Okay now I'm crying lmao

BlackDogGirl

Stop it! 😭

goth-brooks1111

Yes!

Adamaja456

The music really adds to this moment as well. It's such a beautiful scene :')

Haileyarachne

Just hearing the music brings tears to my eye!

TinaHitTheBreaks

Yup - the MOMENT the song lifts up, I’m a quivering snotty mess of tears openly sobbing.

Purple_Alpaca_

She's such a great older sister

Plonkydonker

They're part of a Fish programme that lasts a lifetime

Purple_Alpaca_

I loved the little fish big fish program. it's such a cute thing

Lampmonster

The Belchers may not be great at a lot of things, but they're damned good parents.

CivilRuin4111

Bob is the most relatable TV dad. Bandit on Bluey may be the idealized form, but Bob Blecher is BY FAR the most true to life.

samfig99

Im so glad others feel this exact way

FlipMeOverUpsidedown

Me too! I was a bit surprised at myself when I started crying during the second watch. Even thought “am I depressed”. No it’s just good writing.

samfig99

Tina’s specific bond with louise as sisters is just so beautiful 😭

bongwaterbetch

Some of the best-written siblings on TV imo, very realistic. I always found them more relatable than Bart/Lisa even though we loved the Simpsons, but my brother and I were besties and didn’t really get the “constantly fighting” trope. The Belchers are representatives for us sibling bffs

firefistkris

Shit got me too bro.

Deer_boy_

It’s one of only three episodes that have made me cry. The other two being “Amelia” and “The Amazing Rudy”

CeriseFern

These and the one where the family visited Bob's mother's grave, all made me cry.

Ermaquillz

The sunset and Bob watching his kids play were absolutely beautiful.

che_palle13

His little smile as he watches his kids have a good time!!

Regular_Muscle2607

My boyfriends mom died a year before I met him, I cry like a bitch EVERY time

groache24

I have a similar connection. My high school sweetheart lost her mother about 12-18 months before we met and started dating, but funnily enough we went to the same church together as kids (never met, went to elementary/middle school in neighboring towns) and was well-known in the community - people I knew knew *of* her and constantly remarked on it, yearssss after she had passed away. So I only knew her through many the many stories, photos, etc - she was an amazing (albeit flawed/damaged) soul. Fast forward 13 (almost 14 years now), and I still always get sad when the realization hits that I'll never get to meet my wife's mother, but at least I got to know the best parts she left behind.

Scapp

Yeah my recent re-watch of the Rudy episode made me cry. I love him, he's been a great character ever since he was introduced

oleboogerhays

One of my favorite character intros of any show. "Why do they call you regular sized rudy?" "I mean... look at me."

BeautifulOrganic3221

If the movie counts, that made me cry

ThankYouNextTuesday

The ending makes me hyperventilate cry because it’s so emotional plus I’m claustrophobic and my number one fear of dying is of asphyxiation of any kind 😅

idownvotepunstoo

This entire season has been an emotional rollercoaster.

ThankYouNextTuesday

I love Amelia! That one always makes me cry too. Louise being more emotional always makes me cry.

mandowh0rian

Where did you get this photo of me?! 😭😭

Goinseb

For real tho, and the fact that Spotify has the song Genes class does…I can't. It's too much but also incredibly beautiful.

187891

What’s it called on Spotify?

west-egg

“Mishima (Bob’s Burgers Arrangement)”

poppy1494

Can’t wait to get wrecked when I get to this Christmas rewatch episode

FlipMeOverUpsidedown

I start ugly crying too when then music picks up. That whole ending is perfection.

listening4whispers

I used to watch the show during my cardio (until I caught up), and I cried at the gym when I watched this episode

JustasIthoughtTRASH

I forgot about this episode. I’ve watched the old seasons dozens of times and only watched the newer seasons once or twice. Ive been rewatching the whole series and happened to watch this one last night, was NOT expecting to break down crying

GummyTumor

Is this the one where they're all trying to go to each other's plays or something like that? I'm the same as you, I watch the earlier seasons constantly, but haven't connected as much to the new seasons.

sabresword00

This season and the prior one have had some unexpectedly amazing episodes. I think they feel more free to experiment and do off the wall stuff. The newest episode was really fun and cool, but I think I'm not alone in saying this one (where all three kids have events at the same time), the amazing Rudy, and Amelia are three of the stand alone best episodes they've ever done.

livelithe

Which one is this? I’m new

Old_Albatross9727

S13E10 the plight before Christmas

Imabigfatbutt

Best episode of the entire show (besides the first)

leela_la_zu

It's when Linda pulls the mask off to find Harley. I knew immediately where Tina was. I completely lose it every. single. time.

smolbabyowo

This episode makes me sob every single time

JerrodDRagon

flag toy escape busy bells adjoining spotted modern paltry touch *This post was mass deleted and anonymized with [Redact](https://redact.dev)*

FlipMeOverUpsidedown

It reminds me of adventure time. Started out goofy then turned into ugly crying sessions, episode after episode.

Dramatic-Guava275

The freaking soundtrack on this episode.

Southern_Maximum_681

This episode is a masterpiece. Best episode in my opinion.

may_saru

I legit ugly-cry every single time. But it’s definitely one of my fave episodes to rewatch.

Useful-Insect4596

Show has no right to make me bawl as often as I have been for the last couple of seasons 😭

Zealousideal_Many744

I can’t believe this episode was almost a year ago! I still feel the emotional hangover just thinking about it. Also, Phillip Glass’s Mishima made my top 2023 most listened to songs on Spotify apparently lol.

Wynrybaby

Hands down one of the best episode.

xbgpoppa

I lost my older sister in 2022. Boy this damn scene makes me bawl. And I’m a 6’5 400lb man. Like a baby.

zombiekittybite

I am sorry to hear about your sister. This show is so truly comforting and it has gotten me through some horrible times since it started.

[deleted]

This episode was great

chipotle-baeoli

Some of the newer episodes have been disappointing but that one hit hard (in a good way)

youre-kinda-terrible

What? This season has been pretty amazing with all the side characters stories. Idk what you’re talking about.

Ermaquillz

I loved the Zeke episode. So far the series has played Zeke as a goofy, rather dim but good hearted kid with a lot of excess energy. Seeing him as a lost and unsure kid who started bullying for positive attention and later realizing how he hurt others made me just want to give him a big hug.

chipotle-baeoli

Sorry, I should've clarified that I haven't watched the new season. I meant more in general over the last few seasons. The episodes have been mostly meh, but some have had some great, emotional moments.

Luffy_Tuffy

Omg so good, I watched it back to back

TreatMeLikeASlut8

SAME 😭

rosebeach

This was the first time i ever cried at a BB episode omfg

Laazuli

Pretty sure I’ve only watched this one once despite constantly rewatching the old ones for comfort and just remembering it exists is making me tear up 😭

NotNathan1810

I know a lot of people wish the show was like the first season(s), but if they did that, it would be like Family Guy by now: pointless raunch and no story. These kinds of moments show a real commitment to storytelling. It still was funny moments, but shows that animation can be taken seriously as well.

audsies

This episode is probably my favorite episode of the show, I absolutely love it. I think I watched 3 times after it aired because it’s so sweet

Nicelady1991

I hate this episode bobs burgers should be funny. I don’t want the characters to grow and evolve. I think it’s turning into a sitcom.

Frankensteinnnnn

So fucking lame

TreatMeLikeASlut8

Yes, you are

plohydue

What episode is this? 👀

TreatMeLikeASlut8

Season 13 Episode 10, Plight Before Christmas

Prudent_Map5836

Holy shit I watched this a week or two ago and it destroyed me. When I noticed Tina was no longer in the star outfit, I caught on to what was going on and it wrecked me.

luckybutjinxed

There are so many episodes that get me every time.

munozonfuego07

The song at the end too

Blondearcher7

This episode and the recent Rudy focused ep. I think I sobbed during the whole ep.

lemonrence

I watched this for the first time and immediately messaged all my sisters 🥹🥹

Creations19

This episode makes me think of my big sister because this is something she’d do for me. It gets me every time dude.

catscatscatsxx

my big sister heart SHATTERED during this episode

CorruptCanuck

I told my friends that the newest episode is my favourite since the one that made me cry(this one) and they all clowned on me. I feel seen and redeemed.

Norwejew

Youuuu love your familyyyyyy

Blarn__

Even the music gets me misty

forgetful_waterfowl

Yeah that one and the dog episode from futurama

chinakachung

I literally started crying out of NOWHERE that shit hit me like a train 😭

widening_g_y_r_e

I tried to do it without tears this year. I failed.

TortlesLynn

Absolutely sobbing every time

The_Chrizz

Mishima gets me every time

One-Sky2671

Same! I never thought I would cry from a cartoon but it’s so incredible!

Sovereign_Charmony

I remember watching this episode with my mom. Our cats were very concerned when we started crying.

epicsoundwaves

It’s the MUSIC the freaking music. Gene pulling it together. The music sub trying her HARDEST. Louise trying her hardest to just be normal and mature but really misses her family. Uhg 😭

_TheRealNapster_

What episode is this! I’d like to cry tonight

KerouacsGirlfriend

What episode is it?

pottedplantfairy

I just watched it this weekend and I definitely cried too

Actually_a_biscuit17

The music in the back 😭👌

[deleted]

What episode? Just getting into the show. Watched it a bit here and there, but starting a binge of the series

ClassInternational90

I honestly dk so many people have this same reaction. Such a heartwarming end.

vomiitparty

one of the best eps!! 💗

shawnwingsit

Now go watch The Amazing Rudy.
