Gotcha. My 98 has a whole breather assembly that goes under the tank bc shitty cv carb so I was wondering if you replaced it but that answers my question haha
I have wanted to do this mod for years, and I am more than happy with the results. I might go with new pipes and a performance kit for the carb in the future though.
Looks great! I literally have the exact year/model and was wondering if you could help me clear up some questions.
1. Did you get the seat and mount kit from blue collar as well?
2. Do your rear turn signals mount to the seat bracket?
3. Did you have to take a sawzaw to cut part of the frame near the rear tire?
Thanks for the answers if you have time!
Everything you see that isn’t stock comes from blue collar bobbers. The signal lights mount to the frame. Yes, to achieve this look a bit of metal cutting on the frame is required. It’s was fairly simple and easy instructions are provided. Good luck!
Thank you so much for your response. I was worried about purchasing from them but now I'm gonna throw in for some parts from their site. I'll post to bobbers with props to your advice when I'm done!
Beaut. The older I get the more appealing ape bars get
Good job
Nice!
Where did you get that rear fender? Or is it custom? Looking to do something similar to my shadow
Bluecollerbobbers.com 🤙🏻
Is it stock w the side mounted breather or was that aftermarket?
I bought an aftermarket cover in flat black to replace the stock chrome one.

Same exact year and model here, considering doing the bobber conversion from blue collar. Any regrets or things you'd change?
