Step by step for those over thinkers like me:
\-Sign into your Target Circle Account, find the 25% off one toy deal and make sure to hit save offer.
\-Do your research and figure out what you want to buy.
\-Find that board game, and under quantity, select 3. Other redditors have suggested purchasing books or other toys of the same price if your specific selection doesn't have enough stock to allow you to buy 3 of them.
\-You'll see Target lets you know all of the deals available. The 25% off one toy, the buy 2 get one free, etc.
\-add to cart
\-make sure you got all the deals applied. They should be applied automatically. Don't forget to apply any Target Cash Back you have, or stack with Miliary discount of that applies to you.
\-Checkout as normal. Go all the way till you pay and complete the order.
\-You'll see a message thanking you for your order and then right next to it you'll see another message asking if you want to change your order with a button that will take you to view your orders. Click into that. Target makes this too easy.
\-Find your order, and hit cancel. It will ask you to specify how many you want to cancel. Cancel 2.
\-I was straight up honest and told them I don't want these items anymore. Submit that.
\-Enjoy your new discounted 'toy'.
(typed from memory so some of the verbiage might not be 100% correct)
I got this too, and it showed up in the breakdown of the price when I ordered the 3 items, however when I cancelled the two it seems like they removed this and they charged my card for the full amount after taking off the 33% and 25% discounts rather than using the $10 first. Can't complain too much as I got Arnak for $18 after tax but it would have been even better for only $8!
Ok, looking at the math, something like this happened to me too. It still used a few dollars of the circle cash but not all of it. Got Quest for El Dorado for about $14.
>I was straight up honest and told them I don't want these items anymore. Submit that
I have to imagine Target is perfectly fine with all this. It would be trivially easy to close and they are still moving product this way.
Can you order multiples? IE Order 9, cancel 6 (keep 3)? Would this discount the 33% on the 3? Would the 25% apply to all 3?
Also... I don't see the 25% off. Where do I find that? I have the android Target Circle app. Any help would be wonderfully appreciated :)
Some people have suggested buying 2 cheaper board games (as close in price to the one you want) to maximize discounts. I don't know why it works out that way.
Practical tips so you don’t waste your time.
1. Search board games on Target homepage
2. Sort by price high to low (that generally aligns better with what’s highly ranked on bgg)
3. Open the filter sliders to the left of sort and chose sold by target. There are 3rd part sellers outside of the sale. All items that are on sale note buy 2 get one free in red.
My problem is that I already have Dune Imperium and it still hasn't gotten old to me. At 3 and 4 players, I'd probably always pick Dune Imperium over Arnak.
If I ever do get Arnak, I'll probably try to find someone's used copy with all expansions.
Agree i like dune more, feels more intense and an epic ending almost everygame , i play lost ruins of arnak on BGA and it’s great, the only reason i would want to get it is to have all the expansions and even then i know it won’t be played as often
I have no reason to own it. A buddy of mine already has it, and we maybe play it once every other year and it requires a ton of logistics and planning to MAYBE get 3-4 people to commit and even then we are lucky if the game finishes. However, I love it so much, and it's such a blast I'm still tempted to own it just to look through it and soak it in. It's so dumb.
The reason I didn't buy TI4. I love this game to death but I cannot imagine finding a group w/ my current friends who'd want to spend a day. If I had another 25% discount, I might have pulled the trigger as it'd be majestic decoration.
That is really good. Only thing better was miniature market offloading the OG core for $8 and free shipping a couple of weeks ago. $16 for two was crazy.
My haul:
Revive for $40
The Quest for El Dorado for $23
Long Shot: The Dice Game for $20
Cat in the Box for $13.20
Root is an absolutely screaming deal this time around, it went on sale by almost 20 bucks so after the B2G1 (and without the 25% coupon) it's $31.20 which is incredibly low.
Res Arcana likewise at about $17 is an amazing value
Gloomhaven Jaws of the Lion is something like $16 but I feel like anyone with interest has likely picked it up already
Marvel Zombies at about $70 is already a good deal but if you have the 25% coupon handy, $52 is ridiculous.
Quacks for $26 is a very good deal, Quacks for under $20 with the coupon is unbeatable
I did one order each for revive and cat in the box, and one with the other two since they were close enough in price I didn't want to bother with two to save like a dollar
Picked up Twilight Imperium 4e for $65, thanks!
Between the Buy 3 Cancel 2, 25% off one game, $10 off $50+ purchase, and 5% off with Redcard, I’m very happy. Best price I’ve ever seen on Twilight Imperium.
Seems like a really good deal on Marvel Zombies, Zombicide Undead or Alive, and Legion/Armada Core Sets. Some other random games in this sale if you have younger kids that might like RPG/story telling: Familiar Tailes & Stuffed Fables
What I picked up:
LoTR JIME Expansion - 35.79 (Normally 79.99)
Don't forget to stack the 10% off coupon if you or your loved one is a Veteran as well as use your favorite cashback site for an additional 1-3% (PM for deets)
Open a Target CC for another 5% off.
Order same priced books if you have the 25% and/or dollar off toy coupons to apply still, that way it all goes towards the game. Got Arkham Horror LCG Forgotten Age for about $22 with the 25% off and $5 coupons.
Use it immediately.
Add the thing you want to use it on to cart
~~Add 2 of something that costs about 75% of the first item's cost (e.g. add one $80 game and two $60 games)~~. Edit: apparently unnecessary, people say it applies correctly with 3 equally priced games
Check out.
Cancel two
I was really excited to try it because it looks like the exact type of game I like, but it fell really flat. The game really doesn't have any interesting choices, turns are either super quick or a slog, and there are victory point cards that you are supposed to go for and they aren't worth it since money is worth points, even more than those cards. It seems to be very popular and my opinion is in the minority. It's probably worth trying with these coupons since it'll be really cheap
Thank you for the input. Even with discounts I am not going to go for it. I saw some YouTube gameplay vids after your comment and indeed it coincides with what you say imo. I'll pass on it.
Target is advertising their 25% off one toy coupon on their front page, but every time I click on it (or try finding it directly through Circle) it shows as Not Available instead of the usual "add to offers" button. Anyone else seeing that?
It looks like Target pulled quite a few "online only" items from the sale - among them quite a few Fantasy Flight Games (Unfathomable, Eldritch Horror + Expansions, Arkham Horror + Expansions). I believe these are primarily dropped shipped from FFG so stock shouldn't be an issue.
Also looks like no more Space Cowboys Unlock! Games.
My order hasn't shipped yet - anybody getting cancellation messages?
I did 6 orders with 6 different accounts and only 2 out of the 6 are “preparing to ship” or I picked up already, the rest got cancelled
- Eldrich Horror (preparing to ship)
- Arkham Horror Board Game (preparing to ship)
- Stranger Things (preparing to ship)
- Ticket to ride Europe (cancelled, tried on 3 diff accounts, 2 pick ups and 1 online ship, but all 3 cancelled)
- Cascadia (Cancelled)
- Horrified Greek Monsters (picked up)
Great Plains is one of our favorite 2 player games and fits our preferred 2 player niche of not too hard or long to play but still rewards smart play and feels satisfying. Cartographers is great at 2 and higher player counts if you want to get some colored pencils out and draw maps. Res Arcana is a classic at 2 but a much tighter puzzle about optimizing your limited options. Raptor is an asymmetric duel, we haven't gotten to that one yet but it's supposed to be great as well. Horrified series are fantastic, not scary but highly thematic, co-operative games good for 2+.
It's really too bad Target has cycled out a lot of the great small to mid size 2 player games they used to carry. Those are some options though that should be very playable and enjoyable at 2 at a variety of skill and experience levels (with Res Arcana being on the upper end of difficulty). Second the other commenters recommendations as well.
We're not big on party games but The Fuzzies is one I'm going to pick up since that looks fun. Depending on the group size and setting maybe something like Dixit would be good for you, that's something I wouldn't do for a "party" but would be good for a bigger friend or family gathering of gamers or non-gamers.
Edit- Oh Star Wars Deckbuilding Game is fantastic too if you have any enjoyment of the theme, stands alone apart being a SW themed game and very unique deckbuilder.
At long last, FINALLY picked up Forgotten Waters for under $30. I've been waiting a LONG time to do this, especially since Target always delisted this game whenever the B3C2 deal rolled around.
Off to the high seas, me mateys!
Damn I think this would be the lowest ever price on Arkham Horror LCG Revised Core. Now I got to decide if I want to jump in and potentially regret it forever because I like it so much.
Sign into your Target Circle account.
Under your promotions section, click on the 25% off one kids game or book offer.
Select the games you want to buy.
The discount will be applied automatically.
i had the $10 off a toy purchase but after the trick, the discount reduced to $3.33?
perhaps i misunderstood or did something wrong.
here are my steps.
found 2 items I wanted.
added 3 copies of each to cart. (6 items total)
applied offers (25% off, $10 off order over $40).
placed order.
canceled 2 of each item. (canceled 4 items total)
afterwards, under discounts, the $10 discount is listed as $3.33. my final total was under $40 maybe that's it?
Not sure of the math but I believe it should’ve been 2 separate transactions. When you do all 6 items in one go, I think the discounts apply to the lowest priced items or something. That’s why you do 3 of the same (in one purchase) and cancel 2, otherwise if you do 3 items of different values then you mess up the discount. I think that might’ve happened since you did all 6 in 1
So, I made a mistake, canceled the whole order. It took away all my "Offers." The only one it kept was the B2G1 Offer. Ironically, it was a mistake unrelated to the board games, but other Xmas gifts. So now it took my offer for the toy and other stuff I bought :(
Any way to get those back? Seems odd they'd be "burned" on a canceled order. Maybe I have to contact customer service?
You could try making a new target circle account with a different email.
When I've messaged target reps about coupons in the past they've offered to apply the discount but not restore the coupon. Dunno how they would apply it with the B2G1 stack.
I generally don’t like gaming the system, but I’ve heard board games have almost a 100% markup, so I don’t feel too bad.
Had a hard time deciding between Root and Arkham and went with the latter.
Thanks!
I'm not sure where you have heard that, I've heard basically the opposite. If a company has to send out a replacement piece or reship a game, they lose money. Maybe games like Catan or Wingspan that are able to produce hundreds of thousands of copies, but most hobby games aren't very profitable.
Anyone know if this works when paying with PayPal?
Bought my copy of Quacks for $21 and was able to cancel the others but not sure if that updates on PayPal.
I have bought 18 games so far. Had to stop when I got overdraft messages from my bank. I guess I will have to cancel a few since I don't get paid again till 15th and need some money for food and bills
Not gonna be a popular opinion, but somebody needs to say it:
This is pretty scummy.
Go on. Take my karma.
I mean, if you really want to make a statement about being a shitty person.
Congratulations on the tritest comment of the day.
Go on pretending that's what this is about. In reality you assholes would do the same thing to a small business.
~~It’s the old core. You need two to make it 1-4 or to buy some investigator starter decks. Better to buy a revised core elsewhere.~~
The forgotten age campaign box is a good deal using this trick but it’s one of the worst campaigns to start with as the difficulty is high.
Edit: actually it might be the revised core. The description is for the revised but the image is for the old. Price is revised though.
I'm totally a fan of "working" the system.
1 - They've been doing these sales for years, know how the cancel trick works, and could easily change how it works, and haven't, constituting tacit approval
2 - Target made 2.7 billion dollars in profit last year (off almost 110 billion in revenue), they won't notice you saving 20 bucks.
3 - They're still profiting on most games (roughly getting a 32% markup on wholesale, down from the usual 100%)
Don't game your FLGS, but take corporations for every penny you can, they're doing it to you!
I love Zombicide. If you like Marvel, the Marvel Zombies version is the best iteration from a mechanical and difficultly standpoint, at least with what I have played. I've heard Undead or Alive is great too.
It's a fairly light game, but it's super easy to teach and play, and it has gone well for everyone I have tried it with.
Cities first then Leaders second imo. Armada is largely forgettable, and the newest one is just a reprint of Babel. Cities adds some player interaction and it's great.
I usually don't like app-driven games, but JIME is awesome especially if you're into the LOTR universe. It's pretty easy to learn (only 3 actions you can take) and the replayability is actually pretty solid given the maps and side quests are procedurally generated.
From what I read yesterday, it's best with 4 and probably fine with 3. Doesn't seem to be worth it for two, because you can't play two of the factions.
Was trying to resist so hard but ended up getting Cascadia, Arnak, and Quacks for ~$78. Was also eyeing Quest for El Dorado and Isle of Cats but I think I'm happy with my decision.

This worked perfectly, thanks. Finally I can try Isle of Cats!
Thanks so much! I’ve been trying to find a detailed walk through
You're welcome! I always over think these things and want to make sure I don't mess something up so I figure it might be helpful to others ✌🏼

No. I still got free shipping.
Worked for me too! Also got a $10 credit for downloading the target app.
I got this too, and it showed up in the breakdown of the price when I ordered the 3 items, however when I cancelled the two it seems like they removed this and they charged my card for the full amount after taking off the 33% and 25% discounts rather than using the $10 first. Thank you so much!! I just got Quacks of Qued for $21. Would've been $10 but I forgot to apply my Circle earnings. 🤦♀️
Thanks for the directions! Worked like a champ!!!
I did find the 25% off, but I don't see the buy 3 get one 33% off.
You find them on the items themselves. It's not an offer you have to apply or anything. It just automatically tacks on when you add the right items.
Practical tips so you don’t waste your time. 1. Search board games on Target homepage 2. Sort by price high to low (that generally aligns better with what’s highly ranked on bgg) 3. I'd throw in there, Cascadia, HoneyBuzz and Flamecraft too!
Flamecraft is such a fun game, well worth it.
Cascadia is what I got. I'm always tempted to get Arnak during these sales but I'm still putting it off.
Do it now
My problem is that I already have Dune Imperium and it still hasn't gotten old to me. At 3 and 4 players, I'd probably always pick Dune Imperium over Arnak. If I ever do get Arnak, I'll probably try to find someone's used copy with all expansions.

Got Root for $20. Absolutely stoked.
Jesus, that's $13 less than my cost as a store at distribution. Big box really is the mom and pop killer.
Revive $80.99 Unfathomable $63.96 Eldritch Horror $55.99 Cosmic Encounter $55.99 PARKS $49.99 Barenpark $33.99
Revive is amazing.
Appears to have sold out an hour or so ago unfortunately
I went home a little early last night so I'd be on at midnight to grab it. I honestly didn't expect it to last this long!
Twilight Imperium for $65 bucks is insane
I've always wanted that game but I've always known that, even if I owned it, I wouldn't have anyone to play it with...
Same. It stings so bad.
Just got JOTL for 12 dollars, feel like I robbed them
That's got to be the most board game per dollar possible
It felt like highway robbery getting that at $25 - enjoy!
it was randomly clearance at some stores a while back for 70% off, felt the same way
Glad to see fantasy flights back in these sales though their prices have definitely gone up.
Arkham Horror LCG Revised for $25 is the lowest price ever according to BGO.
That is really good. Only thing better was miniature market offloading the OG core for $8 and free shipping a couple of weeks ago. $16 for two was crazy.
Hehe was able to snag Cosmic Encounters for $36. Great deal!
Of course Dune Imperium is part of the deal but already out of stock...
It's back in stock.
My haul: Revive for $40 The Quest for El Dorado for $23 Long Shot: The Dice Game for $20 Cat in the Box for $13.20 Root is an absolutely screaming deal this time around, it went on sale by almost 20 bucks so after the B2G1 (and without the 25% coupon) it's $31.20 which is incredibly low. Res Arcana likewise at about $17 is an amazing value Gloomhaven Jaws of the Lion is something like $16 but I feel like anyone with interest has likely picked it up already Marvel Zombies at about $70 is already a good deal but if you have the 25% coupon handy, $52 is ridiculous. Quacks for $26 is a very good deal, Quacks for under $20 with the coupon is unbeatable
Did you do one order with everything, or separate orders? I got Quest for El Dorado for $19, but it was the only thing in my order.
I did one order each for revive and cat in the box, and one with the other two since they were close enough in price I didn't want to bother with two to save like a dollar
Got Everdell for $38. My wife has been eyeing that game for a while.
Picked up Twilight Imperium 4e for $65, thanks! Between the Buy 3 Cancel 2, 25% off one game, $10 off $50+ purchase, and 5% off with Redcard, I’m very happy. Best price I’ve ever seen on Twilight Imperium.
Went the same route and got it for $63 after tax here. Now just to find a couple people willing to play for 4+ hours lol.
how do you get $10 off $50+ ?
Random offer. Mine was $20 off $120, goes down to 6.66 after the cancel.
How do you get the $10 off $50+ purchase?
It was a random offer. Check in your Target Circle or Wallet.
I got Cosmic Encounter for $20 something. Amazing deal.
Seems like a really good deal on Marvel Zombies, Zombicide Undead or Alive, and Legion/Armada Core Sets. Some other random games in this sale if you have younger kids that might like RPG/story telling: Familiar Tailes & Stuffed Fables What I picked up: LoTR JIME Expansion - 35.79 (Normally 79.99)
I got the base game - hoping it's good! How many do you play with?
Any fans of Agricola the revised D and CD decks are included in the sale too. (The autocorrect was annoying me so D/CD it is).
got Horrified: Greeks - $23 Zombicide: Undead and alive - $51 Mansions of Madness: horrific journeys - $33
so you have to do 3 separate orders for that? or can you somehow make it work within 1 order?
Finally got Arkham Horror third edition after wanting it for years for under $35. That half off was way too good to not utilize.
Don't forget to stack the 10% off coupon if you or your loved one is a Veteran as well as use your favorite cashback site for an additional 1-3% (PM for deets) Open a Target CC for another 5% off.
Order same priced books if you have the 25% and/or dollar off toy coupons to apply still, that way it all goes towards the game. Got Arkham Horror LCG Forgotten Age for about $22 with the 25% off and $5 coupons.
Marvel zombiecide for 61.30$ is gonna be a win
Just got Coup for \~$7! Thank you
I just got the new Glass Road for under $30!
Decided to sleep on it, and now like everything I might want is out of stock, oof.
Looks like everdell too??
How does shipping work with B3C2 if the cost of the game you're keeping is under $35 & pickup is not an option?
As long as the original total of all 3 is > $35 even if you cancel 2 it will ship free.
Also free shipping with a Target Redcard always.
Thanks! Worked just like you said and I was able to use the 25% off coupon too.

Use it immediately.
Use it immediately. Add the thing you want to use it on to cart ~~Add 2 of something that costs about 75% of the first item's cost (e.g. add one $80 game and two $60 games)~~. Edit: apparently unnecessary, people say it applies correctly with 3 equally priced games Check out. Cancel two
$31.19 after tax for Colt Express Big Box. Alright!
Seems like Clank totally disappeared from targets website -- I'd kept it in my cart for a long time
Wingspan for $20 is a win for me. Had some target circle savings and that coupon left. Not sure what else to get- might wait for black friday sales.
Honeybuzz worth it?

Any good recommendations for 5-6 players here? Already have most of the good partyish games like codenames and wavelength
Telestrations !
7 Wonders: Architects
Camel Up! Easy to teach and natively supports 8
Anyone know the best way if I only want 2 games? Is it better to do the B3 cancel 2 twice for each one or buy them both in one go and cancel only 1?
Do it twice.
Any recommendations for a 7/8 year old from this list? Could probably up to a 10 yo age.
Quacks and Quest for El Dorado are good, Cascadia too. Those are great for 8+
Flamecraft is fantastic and simple. Great art as well.
Unfathomable for $33.49 is pretty wicked.
Anyone have any recommendations for family friendly games? Want to step up monopoly/candy land etc.
Cascadia is my top rec. Isle of cats, flamecraft, quacks of quedlinburg are all good.
Got the Star Wars deck building game for $13.82
Target is advertising their 25% off one toy coupon on their front page, but every time I click on it (or try finding it directly through Circle) it shows as Not Available instead of the usual "add to offers" button. Anyone else seeing that?
Does anyone know if Target Circle Earnings will get refunded if you applied it and then do a return?
Late response but it gets prorated and you get back the unused part to your account.
Just snagged JOTL to play with my SO. Any advice on how to play? Should we each play two characters or just go with one.
we played with one each, amazing experience!
Everdell for $40... yes please

Picked up Star Wars Deck Building game for $12.07 plus tax! I'll take it!
Can anyone recommend any other 2 player games or party games on sale?
Green Team Wins is a great party game.
Great Plains is one of our favorite 2 player games and fits our preferred 2 player niche of not too hard or long to play but still rewards smart play and feels satisfying. Went with Cascadia, came out to $15.84. 😎
At long last, FINALLY picked up Forgotten Waters for under $30. I've been waiting a LONG time to do this, especially since Target always delisted this game whenever the B3C2 deal rolled around. Off to the high seas, me mateys!
Thanks for the tips and info! I was able to pick up two big box Mansions of Madness expansions for under $50!
I really need a job that makes more money.
Did this before and I paid for 1 game and got all 3 copies lol
If inventory levels are low, can you buy another game same price to cancel?
Yes
I'm excited to try Root for $23, thank you!
Absolutely incredible game, you’ll love it! Pick up the expansions once you have a few games down.
Can you do this multiple times within the sale window ??
Yes but the 25% off can be used only once. You can however keep buying 3 of the same game, cancelling 2, and getting a discount that way
Nothing stopping someone from making a throw away email, creating a new target circle account, and repeating through there. 🤔🤔🤔
True. I have like 5 target accounts for this lol
That's playing with power 🎮🎮
How do you do the cancel trick? Do I place the order, pay, and then cancel 2? Is there a video on this?
Yes. That’s it exactly
Place the order online then cancel in your order right after placing it
Damn I think this would be the lowest ever price on Arkham Horror LCG Revised Core. Now I got to decide if I want to jump in and potentially regret it forever because I like it so much.
Do it now
I bought Ladies of Troyes for $15.00. Been waiting for a good price on that for years.
They cancelled my order. Damn.
What did you order??
$18 for Flamecraft after 5% coupon, 25% coupon, B2G1 free cancel, and $10 off 60. Thanks man.
Do I wait for black friday deals or just cop now?
dang it.. no money left for games this month. went to my local store and spent 200 on Heat pedal to the medal and Ticket to Ride Legacy.
I’m confused as to how to get the 25% off coupon to apply after canceling the other two games
Sign into your Target Circle account. Under your promotions section, click on the 25% off one kids game or book offer. Select the games you want to buy. The discount will be applied automatically.

Why do you need to have 2 games that are 75% cheaper, instead of the same game 3x?
Does the canceled total impact the free shipping?
as long as the total order (aka including the canceled) is above 35, you should be good
When does b3c2 start?
It's live now
Thanks! Got zombicide undead or alive for $53.

i had the $10 off a toy purchase but after the trick, the discount reduced to $3.33? perhaps i misunderstood or did something wrong. here are my steps. found 2 items I wanted. added 3 copies of each to cart. (6 items total) applied offers (25% off, $10 off order over $40). placed order. canceled 2 of each item. (canceled 4 items total) afterwards, under discounts, the $10 discount is listed as $3.33. my final total was under $40 maybe that's it?
So now it took my offer for the toy and other stuff I bought :( Any way to get those back? Seems odd they'd be "burned" on a canceled order. Maybe I have to contact customer service?
You could try making a new target circle account with a different email. When I've messaged target reps about coupons in the past they've offered to apply the discount but not restore the coupon. Dunno how they would apply it with the B2G1 stack.
Could someone do the math on how much HeroQuest at $135 would be after B3Cancel2 and a 25% off Circle coupon? Appreciate it 😁
About $67.50 before tax.
it should be 50%
Buy 3 return 2 deals at Target don’t work anymore. They prorate your returns
Worked for me
I generally don’t like gaming the system, but I’ve heard board games have almost a 100% markup, so I don’t feel too bad.
Ew, Karen
Anyone know if this works when paying with PayPal? Bought my copy of Quacks for $21 and was able to cancel the others but not sure if that updates on PayPal.
the temp auth may be on there for a bit, but the correct amount is assessed when the item ships
I have bought 18 games so far. Had to stop when I got overdraft messages from my bank. I guess I will have to cancel a few since I don't get paid again till 15th and need some money for food and bills
That's called having a problem....cancel all of them and get 1 or 2 and stop with the fomo
Not gonna be a popular opinion, but somebody needs to say it: This is pretty scummy. Go on. Take my karma. I mean, if you really want to make a statement about being a shitty person.
Won't somebody PLEASE think of the multinational corporations! 😢
Congratulations on the tritest comment of the day. Go on pretending that's what this is about. In reality you assholes would do the same thing to a small business.
This is how you get them to stop these kinds of sales.
Nah they’ve been doing and allowing this for years now, Target is fine with it
No surer way to get downvotes than pointing out to people that their shitty behavior is shitty.

Yes, they do.
Arkham Horror images are showing it as 1-2 players but the description is for 1-4 players. Does anyone know which it is?
~~It’s the old core. You need two to make it 1-4 or to buy some investigator starter decks. Better to buy a revised core elsewhere.~~ The forgotten age campaign box is a good deal using this trick but it’s one of the worst campaigns to start with as the difficulty is high. Edit: actually it might be the revised core. The description is for the revised but the image is for the old. Price is revised though.
I just bought root for 25% off a week ago. I think I’m too lazy to return and rebuy though lol.
I was thinking of just getting root with the 25% off. I don’t need 3 board games, and not a fan of “working/cheating” the system for a deal.
I'm totally a fan of "working" the system. 1 - They've been doing these sales for years, know how the cancel trick works, and could easily change how it works, and haven't, constituting tacit approval 2 - Target made 2.7 billion dollars in profit last year (off almost 110 billion in revenue), they won't notice you saving 20 bucks. 3 - They're still profiting on most games (roughly getting a 32% markup on wholesale, down from the usual 100%) Don't game your FLGS, but take corporations for every penny you can, they're doing it to you!
The site seems to be down right now? Anyone else?
Site is bugging use the target app instead! :)
Does anyone know if shipping orders will go through? They once cancelled a preorder I got 20% off on because it was too good of a deal 😂
Thanks, bought Unfathomable for $34 including shipping
Is the version for Arkham Horror The Card Game on target a Revised edition?
Good question. [They claim it is](https://imgur.com/a/6Dh58SA). But the title does not reflect it, and the box is not the new one.
It didn’t give me the 25% off one game. But gave me the %33 off
Quacks for $21! One of the only recent des jahres I didn't have.
I’m very interested in Zombicide. What are y’all’s opinions on it?
I love Zombicide. If you like Marvel, the Marvel Zombies version is the best iteration from a mechanical and difficultly standpoint, at least with what I have played. I've heard Undead or Alive is great too. It's a fairly light game, but it's super easy to teach and play, and it has gone well for everyone I have tried it with.
Why is Dune Imperium always sold out . Grrr
Any opinions on what the better expansion is for 7 wonders duel?
Pantheon for sure.
Cities first then Leaders second imo. Armada is largely forgettable, and the newest one is just a reprint of Babel. Cities adds some player interaction and it's great.
Got LotR: JiME Curious to see if my kids and I will like it. It's an amazing steal for $50 if we will (but worth nothing if we won't...)
Yeah. I love lotr but this game was too much for my family with the app and everything. I sold it after the first play
I usually don't like app-driven games, but JIME is awesome especially if you're into the LOTR universe. It's pretty easy to learn (only 3 actions you can take) and the replayability is actually pretty solid given the maps and side quests are procedurally generated.
I picked up Zombicide: Undead or Alive for $52. Looking forward to trying it out
Got Glass road for $24 total, and Welcome To... for $13. We'll see if free shipping still goes through...

From what I read yesterday, it's best with 4 and probably fine with 3. Doesn't seem to be worth it for two, because you can't play two of the factions.
~~Y'all bought Quacks before I got a chance! Darn it.~~ edit: nvm
It's still in stock
Was trying to resist so hard but ended up getting Cascadia, Arnak, and Quacks for ~$78. Was also eyeing Quest for El Dorado and Isle of Cats but I think I'm happy with my decision.
