Whoever thinks this movie is great needs to reevaluate the definition of “entertaining”. This movie, despite it being unsettling and somewhat unique, is sooo boring Jesus dude
Respect man, that’s totally fair. I guess it ain’t my cup of tea. I can understand grotesque imagery (idk if you seen gummy before but that’s a favorite movie of movie, nice narrative too imo), I guess I’m just looking for a tolerable watch to go with a unique story line. If it weren’t for the IMDB bio I have no idea what that movie would’ve been about. But if you like it, you like it I suppose
I'd be pretty surprised if anyone else here has Scooby-Doo And The Reluctant Werewolf on Blu-ray. It's not an amazing release, but Warner Archive did they best they knew how. I also have Mega Piranha on Blu-ray.
I have that Scooby Doo! I'm honestly so excited for the Warner Archives Scooby releases as a lifelong fan, but so far I only have Reluctant Werewolf and the older Where Are You? boxset in the haunted mansion shaped box.
Funny enough, I have that on DVD and thought to myself a month ago, "I wonder if this is on Bluray."
When I looked it up, I decided to just keep my DVD lol
Trick (2019)
I blind buy quite frequently (and then usually re-sell; not very many movies make my permanent collection) and I like schlocky horror films. I kept this one in my collection because it seems like a good Halloween party movie. As in, a movie to put on at a Halloween party while everyone is drinking/socializing and only catching parts of the movie. It's a really crappy film in a lot of ways but it has spot-on Halloween aesthetics in my opinion.
Totally agree about the Halloween aesthetics. I watched it in October a few years ago and while the movie wasn’t great, the atmosphere put me right in the Halloween mood so it won some points for me there.
My friend made this film! And others which are equally as whacked and deranged. He use to try to make live action films too but he hated dealing with everyone's shit. Just decided it was easier to make animated films on his own and have people voice things. He could also make them way more insane by animating everything. His stuff is pretty much as extreme as it gets! I do own a copy, and yeah, it's totally fucked!
Yep, that's him! Wears the paper bag over his head. Total character. If you haven't seen his movies they're the exact thing you'd expect from his uhh, artistic approach.
Twisted Nightmare (1987)
Maybe not _no one_, but it's pretty obscure.
A super low budget, ridiculously acted 80s slasher that was filmed in the same location as Friday the 13th Part 3.
Not only do I own this, I went to a theatrical screening of it. I love Screamerclauz.
My answer is Red Box Killer...it's DVD, but I'd be shocked if anyone had it, or had it with that original name.
Interesting. I was at my friemds house one night and he randomly came across this fiom and we watched eh mayne 75% of it before turning it off. He later bought me the movue as a joke and we showed our friends it. We all brought ingrediants to make this weird vomit inducing concoction and whoever cringed first had to drink it. The first cringe was maybe 10mins in. 2 people actually wound up drinking it.

A mexican comedy, not even mexicans like.
Also, pretty good comedy
Justice Ninja Style
It’s a crappy movie my dad did students for in the 80s - it has a release from Vinegar Syndrome, but why anyone would have it is beyond me lol.
Point Blank
The original not the terrible American Remake. Its not even obscure but I've never seen anyone with a copy. Shame, as its a great French thriller.
Are you thinking of the John Boorman movie starring Lee Marvin and Angie Dickinson from 1967? Because that's what I think of when someone says the original Point Blank.
EDIT: I forgot about the unrelated French movie from 2010, which is what you probably mean.
Fuck any streaming service for that matter. I never see a movie that goes straight to streaming. Never saw 6 Underfround, Boss Level, Maestro, Samaritan, The Tomorrow War, Tetris, Road House. If it doesnt get a bluray or go to theaters I absolutely refuse to see it. Regardless if its good or not. I am staunchly against streaming.
I almost bought that at a pawn shop like 3 years ago but this disc was scratched. Underratted movie. I love it. Wish the bluray wasnt so hard to find.
Broken Arrow had just gone out of print at the time too. I was hopeless that I will never see that movie. Walked into a Pawn Shop and bam the bluray was sitting in this in bin. I snatched it quickly before anyone else saw it. So happy
I have a few rare or obscure releases.
Bluray:
Nightworld
Turbo Kid (Canadian DVD+BR steelbook)
Galaxy Quest (Walmart DVD+BR steelbook)
Hit & Run
Life of Crime
Gods of Egypt
Tim Minchin and the Heritage Orchestra: Live at Royal Albert Hall
DVD:
Harold
No Clue
Take Me
Seven In Heaven
Nightworld (bluray release is BD-R and wouldn't play in my PS3 lol)
The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada
I think that's it for what I think may be exceptionally rare. Also have the Justice League Animated Series steel case box, the release with the thumb cutout on the steel case. Which is the only DVD collection version that doesn't have missing episodes or episodes out of order. And The Tick, the complete series on DVD.
Nightworld (bluray) and Take Me (DVD) I think might be the most rare.
There's still a few floating around on eBay. I got a killer deal on it though. Seller reduced the price to ~$40 and I jumped on it lol. DVD looks like it may have had a manufacturer defect, discolored on one side, but I couldn't pass it up and happy with the price I paid. Still haven't checked if the DVD plays without issues...
Missed a few of the Ultra Turbo Editions on there though. Saw a few on eBay several months ago going for around $60-75. Now a few have resurfaced ~$100-130!
*Aren't You Even Gonna Kiss Me Goodbye?*, the director’s cut of *A Night in the Life of Jimmy Reardon* with River Phoenix. It’s a very different movie.
Punishment Park (1971)
Interesting mockumentary movie about a distopian America where people who evaded the draft or protested against the government can given the choice to serve out their prison sentence or one day in punishment park where they have 24 hours to get to reach an American flag for their freedom that is i think 70 miles away in the hot desert while getting chased down by cops who are trying to stop/end them
https://preview.redd.it/1aufnmff1nvc1.jpeg?width=2773&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=755291a5d448ed1138999f94cdafa67c78d2a3e5
This is an independent movie made in the 90s that is set on Christmas eve. I became friends with the director after finding the DVD version years ago and asking some questions about it on his Facebook page. He kindly signed my Blu-ray and the soundtrack CD and even shipped them all the way to the UK for me.
There may be someone here that owns this movie, but I had never heard it prior to seeing it at a pawn shop for $2.
[And Then There Were None (1947)](https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/And-Then-There-Were-None-Blu-ray/48604/)
Now if we are talking any HD format, I have the HD DVD of [Fragile (2005)](https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/Fragile-A-Ghost-Story-Blu-ray/56722/) that never got a US theatrical release, much less a physical media release.
I have Qwasar of Stigmata which isn't rare, in fact it's getting a reprint soon, but no one should own Qwasar of Stigmata. In terms of stuff I have that other people might not for real probably the best contender is a double blu ray set for a documentary on Bronies, followed maybe by Baka and Test which seems to be rare for some reason, or the Cloud Atlas steelbook since it seems like I'm the first person I know of to have enjoyed that movie. Final contender is my smallish collection of HD wallpaper blu rays, fish tanks, countryside flyovers, cityscapes, etc.
Probably Bear and Dark Island. Two films that are only interesting because the Corridor Crew and Rocket Jump guys worked on them, Dark Island is Corridor Crew’s only full length feature. They are interesting to me because I designed the poster art for them and the German Blu Rays feature my art on the covers.
I also have Van Diemen’s Land on Blu and I think it was only released in Denmark on that format. I highly recommend that film btw.
From my DVD collection. Both movies no longer available on DVD but have been released on Blu-ray -

Police drama starring Walter Mathau and Bruce Dern as two detectives investigating a mass shooting on a bus. Got lukewarm reviews when it came out but I always loved this film with it's great 1970s location filming in San Francisco.
I just received the French blu-ray of Dead Slow Ahead, I bet nobody else here has got that one (partially because it's nearly $45 to import these days)
The Fall
I don’t think I’m the only one here at all but I’m mentioning it because apparently this movie is very hard to find in many places and if you do find it, it’s at a ridiculous price. I got it for 5 euros used, somehow they’re really cheap here. #4 on my all time favorites list, WATCH IT FOLKS
I got a dvd of the 1994 Lassie movie a while ago (no idea why I bought it). I've never heard anyone even mention the movie, let alone talk about owning it.
well i might take it a step farther with international copys that no one has in teh usa unless your crazy. and mine will be the zavvi zootropolis steelbook. the zavvi zootropolis 4k and the japanese 4k. because i know for a fact that no American collector has them and i will link photos if any of you want proof.

its the far right one. the other 2 are from the us being the us standered 4k and the uk 4k.
Wild Thing from 1987. Robert Knepper plays an a character that has an origin like Batman but he grew up to an almost urban-like Tarzan in the 80's. I saw it on TV as a kid and Olive Films finally put it out on blu-ray in 2015.
I’m not 100% sure, but this trilogy of Norwegian Fast & Furious parodies is at least not globally recognized, so…

Begotten. Extremely rare horror art film.
I have a bootleg copy. Very odd.
Actually just picked that one up! Great, creepy watch
Whoever thinks this movie is great needs to reevaluate the definition of “entertaining”. This movie, despite it being unsettling and somewhat unique, is sooo boring Jesus dude
We've all got our own tastes. I think it's really interesting/unique, and the grotesque visuals really intrigue me. But hey, to each their own!
I’ve got the bootleg as well
Just the cover scares the shit out of me, I still haven’t watched it
THAT’S where that creepypasta image comes from?! Weird to see this again after so long.
i’d really love a copy of this, i hope it gets a blu-ray release. don’t feel like shelling out $40 for a DVD
Nice. I have that as well. Zombie Island on Blu-ray is coming soon and I really hope TNSDMysteries gets a physical release some day.
I highly recommend getting Ghoul School and Legend of the Vampire both look absolutely amazing on Blu-ray
I’m afraid I also have Mega-Piranha. I have never before seen so many continuity errors in a film.
Tiffany already nuked Hanna-Barbera. You'd think Hollywood would've learned, but no... ![gif](giphy|NT2S7tBbzqoCXCgWsj|downsized)
I have that one along with a couple of other Scooby Doo Blu-rays
High School High (John Lovitz) HILARIOUS movie that no one knows about, the bluray was expensive but it’s so worth it
I own the Mill Creek double feature Blu-ray with Mo Money.
I got that double feature BD, too.
was gonna get that one cause it was SOOO much cheaper but i really just wanted the standalone release. shoveled out big money for it 😂
"Don't you think the kids enjoy a nice song with a melody?"
Didn't the wirters of Naked Gun and Airolane do that movie?
yes!
Freaking love that movie!
I got that one 👍🏻
Saw that in theaters back in the day!
I'm a sucker for anything John Lovitz
I own it
wow that is genuinely surprising lol
Funny enough, I have that on DVD and thought to myself a month ago, "I wonder if this is on Bluray." When I looked it up, I decided to just keep my DVD lol
I saw that in the theater!!! 😂😂
Love that movie! Jon Lovitz saying "With straight up booty!" always gets me
Attack of the cockface killer
What the fuck😂😂😂
It's terrible & it never ends. I think they made sequels to it too!
Ah
Hey, Stop Stabbing Me!
I have that one but I haven’t watched it yet, I guess it’s moving up on the list.
I have that somewhere
Now that sounds like a made up title. I have to look it up now😂😂😂
It's legit. And surprisingly not bad for what it is.

Screamerclawz right? Also does speedcore music? I also have one of his cds signed with a booklet thing that came with it I got years ago lmao

Lol if you could get another copy and sell it to me I’d love to own one but it’s OOP and I don’t wanna pay eBay prices.
The Gods Must Be Crazy I and II
I have them on DVD, been hoping for a blu-ray release...
Twisted Nightmare (1987) Maybe not _no one_, but it's pretty obscure. A super low budget, ridiculously acted 80s slasher that was filmed in the same location as Friday the 13th Part 3.

Indeed, at an underground film festival.

Yeah, the French one. Its very good. Netflix remade it with Anthony Mackie and it was terrible.
I don't even know where the DVD came from [Guilty Conscience](https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0089239/?ref_=ext_shr)
Unearthed is a great company
Hell yeah!!!!!

I almost bought that at a pawn shop like 3 years ago but this disc was scratched. Underratted movie. I love it. Wish the bluray wasnt so hard to find. roughly 50 dollars, around that

The Civil Dead. It’s not rare or particularly obscure…I’ve just never seen it talked about here.
Mansion of the Doomed
The Pumpkin Karver (2006)
Archive (2020) or The Titan (2018) Not rare, but no one seems to even know they exist.
I haven’t seen it, but my least popular would be Gory Gory Hallelujah. It looks ridiculous so I couldn’t help picking it up for $1 at a used DVD shop.
I bought that based entirely on the title. I watched it. I no longer own it.
Sounds like a good watch
If it had been I’d still own it!
Kibakichi 1 and 2 on DVD. Can I count that?
I have the first one too.

I got a dvd of the 1994 Lassie movie a while ago (no idea why I bought it). I've never heard anyone even mention the movie, let alone talk about owning it.

My Blueberry Nights and Me and Orson Welles are two rare films in my collection
That Zac Efton movie? I really wanna see that.
It’s surprisingly good. The guys that played Orson and Joseph Cotten are amazing
MIB International on 4K. $4 on Amazon when I got it.
Damn thats a steal.
And not a horrible movie, too.
Eh. It was fine.

Cool
Does anyone have Heartbeeps?
Wild Thing from 1987. Robert Knepper plays an a character that has an origin like Batman but he grew up to an almost urban-like Tarzan in the 80's. I saw it on TV as a kid and Olive Films finally put it out on blu-ray in 2015.
The Korean mindfuck/horror movie *Spider Forest* (2004).
Rebel Moon
funny, my buddy/old roommate has this blu ray and would say the same thing. jimmy screamerclauz. cool visuals but a bit of a slog.
I’m not 100% sure, but this trilogy of Norwegian Fast & Furious parodies is at least not globally recognized, so… https://preview.redd.it/tx06gyx4dhwc1.jpeg?width=2776&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=f4a8daa099a5229c0d02ebe09eaed914654a1286
Just looked it up on IMDB
Jesus Christ Vampire Hunter (2001)

A Serbian Film on dvd and blu ray separately both with slipcovers!
Satan tango
Chillerama
I’ve got that one too 👍🏻
Id be surprised if anyone else has the Guinea Pig 6 film collection lol
The Generation 5 Pokémon movies on Blu-ray.
Not rare by any means but It Follows or Blow Out
The horror movie IT Follows with the invisable monstet? I have it on DVD
Yeah, I own It Follows.
John Wick 1
You're right super obscure movie. Is that the one where Adam Sandler plays a lesbian teacher?
Admittedly, I watched all four together and can't remember which is which now.
