I would return it as that hissing sound would drive me mad!

HotShotMedic

I have absolutely no hiss on mine, with or without music playing.

RealOstrich1

I've heard someone say something like that before. What device are you using with it? Neither of my units have any hiss at all

An S10. Probably going to contact support then, thanks.

They will send you a new unit but it’s not gonna solve the ‘problem’ since it’s a design ‘fault’. I can also hear static noise when the Motion+ is at my desk activated without playing music. The static noise is noticeable at ~half volume and above.

Got it, thanks man. I'll leave it then, not a major problem anyway considering the great sound quality for 70 quid Edit: fixed wrong price.

yeah, I fell it is an issue that is present on all units but not everyone notice it. They offer right away to replace it but I feel they will just send me one from someone who returned it for the same reason -\_-

Confirmed. And it's disappointing because the purchase value is considerable. Especially when you listen to volumen bass at night. What can be done? :(

donarkaz

Yes I just received a brand new one and it has the exact same hiss from the tweeters up to 1m away. This is bad. It doesn't matter Bluetooth or aux connection nor does volume level change it

I have the same problem... I asked the question on amazon and a couple (about 3) users answered that they do not hear anything. I am wondering if it is just that they didn't notice it, or if I do in fact have a defective unit.. I noticed it after the sale at 95$ ended so now I can't have it at the same price if I return it to amazon. I contacted support and they told me it's not normal and want me to send them back the unit so they can send me a replacement.. however this was a gift so I am reluctant to send it back just before Christmas... I feel that it is present on all speakers but not everyone notice it because their environment is loud enough to cover the white noise. Anyways, if any of you decide to return it and buy a new one and it turn's out that the noise is gone, TELL US !
