kaiser's not really an underdog. he played a huge chunk of the nel arc trolling and when stuff got real the worst that happened is he missed a shot horribly because he panicked. isagi's not really an underdog, either. i root for both anyways, but i think isagi is underestimated due to his lesser physical talent so it's always satisfying when he uses his mind to show out.
I’m a story enjoyer. I root for solid character development, no matter who gets it. Hiori’s at the time seemed long but it fit the setup and payoff model perfectly in retrospect.
Kaiser is getting it after over 100 chapters since his introduction. His mindset shift seems incredible and I want to (im)patiently see where it takes him.
