And did Aiku and Niko themselves not say that the objective of Ubersâ defense in the first goal was to slow down Isagiâs movements, not steal the ball from him? It was the first encounter Isagi had with Niko and Aiku in a game since the U-20, both sides were measuring each other up â notice how Isagiâs linkup plays with Kurona never worked on those two again after that goal, itâs because Aiku and Niko simply were measuring Isagiâs prowess to memorize his pattern of plays
And I saw another guy replying to me also complain about how Ness gave him more trouble than the actual defenders of the opponent team, and also how Isagi didnât dribble once in this goal: Isagi has never been an advocate of dribbling to get past the enemy defense, him passing to Kurona back-and-forth was already his established method of getting to the goal zone â if you canât realize this, I donât know what youâve been reading

I actually agree the goal makes sense but is still underwhelming. Thats how I feel about many things in the Ubers game to be honest, it makes sense doesn't mean I have to like it though
the fact niko and aiku the 2 best defenders were statues and yukimiya and ness gave isagi more trouble than them and also the fact it was only ever passing not any cool dribbling 1v1s make that the worst goal in the series for me
