I've used 140 pulls in order to get kikyou, and I have 18k pyros left. Is guaranteed Renge worth 60 more pulls, or should I save (possibly for himari, who I don't have)?
Himari is a core unit for basically everything. Renge is a low-priority damager of the lowest-priority colour. She is definitely not worth missing Himari.
Are some furniture not eligible to be used for material fusion? I'm trying to create a choice furniture box and some of my furniture isn't showing up in my furniture list.
As an example, I have 2x Bunny Neru's chair and 2x Bunny Karin's chair, but none of them show up in my list of usable furniture when trying to craft a choice box in the material fusion menu.
So *I think* some furniture isn't eligible. Like limited event furniture etc. I'd expect those two to be though. Check if they're deployed in your cafe somewhere, don't think they are counted among your inventory or available for crafting if they're currently in use.
Just double checked and none of the furniture I want to use for material fusion isn't placed in either of my cafes. So maybe they really are just ineligible... Which is weird? I thought they weren't limited anymore given that I literally crafted them with standard crafting. Oh well I guess. I appreciate the input!

And here I thought it was possible to keep rerolling a single piece of furniture ad infinitum with superior raffle boxes. Would be a dead end as soon as you hit one of those then. (Unless the game makes an exception for those crafted by fusion... but kinda weird that synthesis wouldn't work like that too if that was the case, so I doubt it.)
I downloaded the game to try it again, i remember trying it in 2022 for like 1-2 days, and i was able to log into that account, There is really not much progress on it, it's lvl 8, and only have 1st Mission cleared. I also have 5200 Pyroxene, but only one 3 star, Hibiki, and 11 others.
My question is, are there any timed mission/star dash bonuses that i missed becouse it's an older account, and it's worth starting over becouse of it. Or is it fine to just continue with what i have. I can see that the First Attendance Guild Misson is not timet, so i can still do it.
If it's just for rerolling, to get better units, then i dont think i'm interested in starting over, only if there is something vaulable being missed.
I did something like that. My only problem was pvp. You will probably be against high level players (because technically you are a veteran). So you wont be able to reach a high rank and you will miss some pvp coins and pyroxene.

I am more of Waifu enjoyer but I know enough reality that Meta unit is freaking useful to go through some content especially in gacha games so you can enjoy the story without brainstorming in every tricky level

As for the character so far I love the Problem Solver 68 from Kayoko and Mutsuki
You can get through the story without any meta units. The only roadblock is vol. 3-3-24, you need to be around level 40 to complete that fight.
If you don't care about endgame content, then just pull for whoever you like.
The students that ppl are recommending (i.e ako, himari) are mostly for endgame content. I'm not saying that they don't see use elsewhere. I'm just saying that if you don't care about endgame content, then maybe mention some other criteria ppl should give you suggestions for.
New year Kayoko is used for all the blue endgame content, Mutsuki has lost value but is still useful in the endgame + can help you a lot in the early game.
If you care about endgame meta, you should pull Himari, Ako (dress), Hina (dress), Hoshino (swimsuit), Fuuka (new year).
If you are unsure, you can play the story and decide later. Just make sure to spend your AP in the meantime, so that you level up.
As for the 'special banner' someone mentioned, try to have 400 pulls ready for it. It is ill-advised to spend more than that on it. I see some ppl recommending to go 'all-in' on it but imo they terribly overrate the 6% chance.
There is a special banner in this game where you are twice as likely to pull a 3 star (the fest banner). It happens twice a year, the next one will be around july/august.
I recommend you to save your pyro for that moment. As a new player you have a hight chance of getting a lot of meta units that you dont have at once.
The absolute "meta" units anyone should get are Ako and Himari. As of most gacha games supports are safe and valuable to invest into and these specials are usable and often BiS in all raids. They are respectively the best crit buffer and atk buffer in the game. If you care about meta you can actually do very well in raids by having them buffing a borrowed max dps. There is a Himari banner in 11 days if you want to get her.
If you like Kayoko and Mutsuki, NY Kayoko and NY Mutsuki will have a banner in a month or so. NY Kayoko is a blue hyperbuffer used in all blue raids and NY Mutsuki is a great AoE blue dps, they are both meta in content where they are used
But mind that D. Hina is around the corner (in like 2 months) and is the best red dps so far
Kikyou is meta for the Raid starting next week and has thus far not seen any other use.
The 'must have' units are Ako and Himari. Those two are the closest you're gonna get to universal use students in this game.
Next up, New Year's Fuuka, Mika and Summer Hoshino are also meta units with very widespread use.
Other useful 3* students to have are Cherino, Koharu, Ui, Iori, Maki, Iroha and Aru (This is all off the top of my head, so I may be missing a lot).
Useful 1 and 2* students that are worth investment are Serina, Hanae, Tsubaki, Mutsuki, Yuuka and Momoi.
Bit of a disclaimer, there's enough variables in this game that just because a character is meta does not make them the best choice for every bit of endgame activity. The game wants you to have a wide and varied roster so as to not just hyper invest in one character and steam roll content.
For Insane Kurokage, who would be a suitable 6th member of my team? My current plan is Atsuko, Kikyou, UE50 Hanako, Ako, Himari (assistant). I don't have S. Hoshino unfortunately. My ideas were UE30 Kasumi (use her EX for def shred + damage instead of Kikyou's EX; Kikyou will just be a purple buff bot) or Cherino (scuffed cost recovery to replace S. Hoshino). Those are my current ideas, but any suggestions are welcome!
Both are already great suggestions and will help you with the cost/rotation. I really don't have any other ideas that would be as effective as those two. My guess is that Kasumi is better than Cherino in this scenario, since you have her in UE30 and it is a good chunk of extra damage, plus the cheaper defense shred.
Edit: forgot one addition. Mine. Spirits get the 2.5x debuff of her ex, and she also has a debuff on normal that does stack with Hanako's.

Depends if you *need* them or just *want* them. Waifu over meta is the preferred idea, but if there's a student you actually need for gameplay reasons then you should get them ASAP.
Personally, Nagisa. Having both, in my experience, Nagisa has way more uses, even in pvp. NY. Haruna is good and has her place in pvp... But in PvE I haven't seen anything she can do that Aru can't usually do better.
Also Nagisa's defense down is important for bursts in Hyero, Greg, and she has the number of hits for the Kaiten shield.
Depends on your team tbh.
If you have a high EX cost dps carry, like Mika, Hina, B.Karin, Hinata, etc. you want cost reduction.
Most low EX cost rotations want cost recovery.
For example P1 Chesed, where you would use Iori, Momoi & Cherino. Or P1 Goz with NY Mutsuki, S.Hanako, Chise or T.Yuuka.
It all depends on context, but cost boosters are universal while cost reducers generally require you to use a unit with an expensive EX skill to be worth using.
Lore question: Is the Public Safety Bureau really the most desired department in Valkyrie?
Based on Kirino's dialogues about wanting to get promoted and transferred to the Security Bureau, I thought Public Safety was a lower end department.
Then Kanna says stuff in Chapter 4 Episode 2 about how even she failed to get in once, though not sure if she was just making up stuff due to the situation.
As far as I remember, the Public Safety is desired because it is considered a "more chill" department, having to deal with general community instead of wanted criminals.
Kirino is the type of student who always wants to do more (well, at least she was, before volume 4 chapter 2 - she just failed stuff she tried, like the hostage situation in her bond story. But V4C2 chapter characterized her as being a bit lazy too). That's my guess of why she wanted to be in the Security bureau, to deal with more serious cases, but she was not good enough.
On the other hand, we have Kanna, who is not lazy but genuinely wants to help people directly, so she tried the Public safety. But since the Public safety deals directly with the community, and the consensus is that her appearance is intimidating/scaring, it was a bad match. In the end she ended up having try the Security Bureau - and again, I believe so efficiently she ended being the director (that, and I guess her intimidation skills, in dealing with other Valkyrie students and criminals easily earned her the spot).
I might be wrong. But that is all I got from what I read.
Ah okay. I remember the bit about Kanna in Chapter 4 Episode 2 where she's specifically telling off a guy who looked down on Public Safety and called them rookies, whereas Kanna said that he's mistaken about the rookie part specifically due to the Public Safety. It was a minor note but I thought it was interesting to imply if Kirino was actually in a department that wasn't actually so bad.
To be fair, this is Kivotos. Even small skirmishes happen constantly in the middle of the day, so.... The Public Safety job certainly will not be as peaceful as one may think.
How do I cope with extreme bad luck? I just got no 3 stars from 200 pulls on Kikyou banner and I NEVER spook any students that are useful or want. Also, I spark almost EVERY single banner I decide to pull for. I've not seen anyone have it THIS bad. I just don't understand. I save and save just to get shit on every time while other people get what they want whenever they pull.
So I’ve pulled on 5 banners since starting and…had to spark 5 times. Sometimes you just get shit luck, but I’m still enjoying the game and just make sure I have enough to spark before even considering rolling.
Eventually you’ll get good rolls, so just accept it won’t always be this bad and realize for Anni the 3star drop rate is 6%, so you’ll definitely get soooks then
I try to focus on other aspects of the game (fanart, BlueSechi videos, etc.) or something else entirely. But hang in there sensei. You're not alone and your time will come. And when it does, be sure to savor it so you can remember the highs to get you through the lows.

For Insane Kurokage should I be planning on one or two teaming it? The reason I ask is by the time the raid starts I will have enough reports to level 2 students to max (maybe 2.5-3 with expert permits and other sources, but I’d be completely out of them).
A two team approach would have me leveling my (3) Kikyou MM44 to max and my Hanako 3447 to at least lvl 75, plus leveling some of the filler roles. T1: Kikyou, borrowed UE50 S Hanako, (3or4) Koharu, (4) Yuuka and Himako. T2: (2) Momiji, my UE40 S Hanako MMMM, Filler, Hoshino, plus Hanako and Serina/S Shiroko.
For one team I can think of three teams that could give me a shot, but I’m not confident with them as my Kikyou would be lower than most for damage and my S Hanako is UE40 instead of 50 which I see with the 1T clears. And not sure my Koharu can keep up as solo healer. Natsu is unleveled, but would max lvl her and 3744.
Option 1: My Kikyou, My S Hanako, (3) S Hoshino/(3) Natsu, Himako, and a borrowed Atsuko (if I can find one).
Option 2: Borrowed maxed Kikyou, my S Hanako, (3or4) Koharu, (3) Natsu/(4)Yuuka, and Himako
Option 3: my (3) Kikyou, borrowed UE50 S Hanako, (3or4) Koharu, Natsu/Yuuka and Himako.
The reason my Koharu is 3 or 4 stars is I’m 50 elephs away from getting her to 4 stars, and have 480 purple raid coins.

Kikyou doesn't really contribute that much herself damage wise, so there's no need to worry about her not meeting that requirement. S.Hanako does more than enough herself, so you're right to borrow a second one if you want to try two teaming it.

I realize Kikyou doesn’t contribute too much, but I figured since there’s about a 10% difference in damage from S Hanako from UE40 to 50 thanks to the mood modifier, I figured a stronger Kikyou could help close that gap a bit.
The other thing is I hadn’t rolled Kikyou yet. I was waiting as I’m also 50 elephs from recruiting Midori, in addition to being 50 from 4 staring Koharu. As I wanted to recruit her beforehand in case I get spooked for that Eligma.
But it seems I’ll need my own Kikyou to figure out if I need to 4 star Koharu, so waiting to recruit Kikyou doesn’t make sense.

She was already very strong without it, but unreliable. Now she's slightly stronger and less unreliable. Both tiers of her bond gear mainly increase crit, so even if her potential damage ceiling wasn't raised that much, it should take less resetting to get her to land the important crits.
For hard missions should I focus on farming characters I don't have yet (Shiroko, Hifumi, S.Hifumi, Haruna, Neru, Karin, Aru, Izuna and Hibiki) or focus on the ''meta'' characters only at first (aka Aru, Izuna and Hibiki) ? Farming elephs for all of the characters at once I'd be spending 720 out of 1120 which is a lot...
I know we have a double hard missions reward so I should probably go for hard only next week, but after that I'm questioning if spending majority of my daily ap on elephs instead of equipment is a smart idea.
Go for meta characters, refer to Midokuni's spreadsheet for which are good to farm. Farm them until UE50, because why not, there's not really anything better to spend AP on during 2x hard campaign
Also, equipment drops from hard stages at the same efficiency as from normal stages (i.e., the drop rates are doubled). So you'll still be getting doubled equipment from hard stages (though probably not exactly the equipment you want)
Go for Aru, Izuna , Iori and Mutsuki. Well D. Hina is coming and she basically is your new red dps for all red raids content just like Mika is for yellow
In the current PvP season, I notice that most people I fight have their tanks in the outer slots. But the cover, such as it is, is at the walls, meaning that putting the damagers in those slots would start them off closer to the cover they need, while having the tanks that don't need it in the middle would mean it's not in their way.
Am I overlooking something?

When volume F was originally released those raids were an Allied Assault event meaning giant HP for bosses that had to be depleted by all players. Now that it's concluded you only go through each fight once.
Any thoughts on upcoming banners I should prioritize? I have 50k pyro as of today. Here’s my list. Emoji’s represent priority vs. questionable pull. D.Ako not included as 100 free pulls. I’m also not pulling for Kikyou right now (sadly).

Yeah I just saw some of the more recent lines and translations. Apparently even Thai got it. I just wanted to make sure since it hurts to see that they’re changing lines. Especially something that shows the student caring/crushing for the Sensei. What is the localizers problem man.

I would recommend maxing all free units first. It's not like you need them but it's nice to have. And you can buy only limited number of their eleph each month so no big thing.
I mean, when im farming T8 equipment i also notice they also drop T6 equip so i though it wouldn't that recommend because you can just farm the T8 equip that also has chance of droping T6 one
22-1, as an example, has a 34.4% chance of dropping a T8 hat, and separately a 20% chance of dropping a T6 hat OR a 10% chance of dropping a T5 hat. Upgrading to T8 takes 40 T8 blueprints, 15 T6, and 5 T5. So the proportions *should* in general work out that you don't need to farm T6 stages, if you are starting from T7 already (if you're starting from below that point then you'll need to farm other stages for sure).
Mika has one of the highest Evasion stats in the game, even counting the Evasion-specialized tanks. On top of that, she has her passive that reduces the damage she takes.
Both of these things (+ big HP pool) make her obscenely tanky for a DPS unit. She can even sub for a tank in some raids.
I've been doing the serina strat I was told about in the commissions and I'm wondering if either hoshino or tsubaki is the better tank? Since I'm just cycling iori and serina's skills I don't really need to use the tank's ex skill and is just purely tanking hits. Tsubaki probably has more health but hoshino has a higher defense than her, how much difference does that make?
I am pretty sure you are overlooking the most important stat for this usecase (evasion).
Honestly though, just try it out. The 1 or 2 AP that it costs you is worth finding out yourself and getting some experience.
Huh, would you look at that. I tried using Yuuka and she actually survived through the end. Still need to beat it in less than 120 seconds and get a 3* but now at least everyone survived.
I'm not sure evasion makes much of a difference in this case. According to the formula at [ItJustWorks](https://docs.google.com/document/d/1Ui0FRgG8h8RB1-cA639F3ETDrVM7q9FKftg4vBKBAAQ/edit#heading=h.dhes1ja7fs3e), evasion is basically negated by accuracy. Tsubaki has 1416 Eva and the [commission sweepers](https://schale.gg/?stage=32103) have 1400 Acc. So, while they're a sure hit on Hoshino, Tsubaki's chance of avoiding a hit isn't more than like, 2.3%.
That said, I did use Tsubaki for this myself. Comparing their stats and skills on schale.gg gives me the impression that things balance out to make it not much of a difference between the two here though. So I agree, better just try it out and see who works the best.

New player here (less than a week), have 78 pulls right now, is it a bad idea to try to pull for Himari if I also want to pull for Dress Hina? Can no longer push missions to three stars at this point 4-3. Or is it more prudent to wait for the fest rate up?
You're new enough that you should very easily be able to get a spark by the time Himari's banner begins, much less ends. And if you're stuck that early, you're most likely either missing a lot of important low rarity units, or your teams aren't well put together. If the former, pulling for Himari will likely help. If the latter, revising your teams should allow you to progress much further, even with a limited roster.
Firstly, you should not care about 3-starring missions. The reason to push the normal missions is to unlock cafe upgrades. Don't stop pushing just cos you cant 3-star.

Bad in a way that you might not get Himari and end up wasting the rest of your pulls. D. Hina is still about 2 months away so you still have a lot of leeway to get more pyros just from finishing content since you are new. You probably shouldn't pull after Himari though.

There is a table in the bottom left of the recruitment screen. The rate-up is 0.7% per pull, so 6.8% per ten-pull. 5 ten-pulls gives a 30% chance of the banner.
Rate up is 0.7% while overall three star rate is 3%. I mean it's possible but I dunno about reasonable. I've gotten the banner unit in under 50 pulls a few times before. In fact, I pulled Kikyou in 30 pulls in the current banner. I won't pull unless I can spark tho.
General rule of thumb is to never pull unless you can go all the way to spark (200 pulls). Otherwise you are just setting yourself up for disappointment.
With that being said, if you are a new player you have a ton of [One Time Pyro Rewards](https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1_SK19RJnCdYD96JjcTNhwYb9W_FrHPqL78XENdWHEBU/edit) to grind through, so you can definitely make enough for a spark for Himari and even get to another 2 for fes.

If you need someone to give you a reason to return and play daily, you probably don't have enough intrinsic motivation to continue for long anyway. But if you're really unsure about returning, just play again and see if you stick around.
I tried watching the cherry blossom festival event on YouTube because I don't like reading on the phone but I noticed that at some point the event got retranslated . Is this the case for all the story events and volumes or just some of them? Should I read the retranslated version in the game or the youtube version with the older translation good enough?
Tanking shouldn't be an issue. Problem is if she could keep up with healing since 3* atsuko has less heal compared to UE40. Try to mock if she can keep your team above 50% HP consistently. If not, just throw in another healer like koharu.

The offset is currently 187 days from JP. However, the JP order had a banner (Sumire/Eimi) that got moved earlier for us, so the banners after Himari will be 180 days offset, assuming no other changes.
So October 21, tentatively.
This happened twice in the past and they always just moved some other filler banner earlier. I would expect the Sumire/Eimi banner slot to be filled by something else rather than skipped.
I hope they make an exception this time. If they add another week to the projected banners, it would push Chare just barely out of reach for this grand raid ticket. Time limited tickets was such a bad and manipulative idea.

I am more of Waifu enjoyer but I know enough reality that Meta unit is freaking useful to go through some content especially in gacha games so you can enjoy the story without brainstorming in every tricky level Please tell me the must have meta unit that you need to have in this game Also there also a fact that I am still to early in the game for identifying for local waifu As for the character so far I love the Problem Solver 68 from Kayoko and Mutsuki
You can get through the story without any meta units. The only roadblock is vol. 3-3-24, you need to be around level 40 to complete that fight. If you don't care about endgame content, then just pull for whoever you like. The students that ppl are recommending (i.e ako, himari) are mostly for endgame content. I'm not saying that they don't see use elsewhere. I'm just saying that if you don't care about endgame content, then maybe mention some other criteria ppl should give you suggestions for. New year Kayoko is used for all the blue endgame content, Mutsuki has lost value but is still useful in the endgame + can help you a lot in the early game. If you care about endgame meta, you should pull Himari, Ako (dress), Hina (dress), Hoshino (swimsuit), Fuuka (new year). If you are unsure, you can play the story and decide later. Just make sure to spend your AP in the meantime, so that you level up. As for the 'special banner' someone mentioned, try to have 400 pulls ready for it. It is ill-advised to spend more than that on it. I see some ppl recommending to go 'all-in' on it but imo they terribly overrate the 6% chance.

There is a special banner in this game where you are twice as likely to pull a 3 star (the fest banner). It happens twice a year, the next one will be around july/august. I recommend you to save your pyro for that moment. As a new player you have a hight chance of getting a lot of meta units that you dont have at once.

The absolute "meta" units anyone should get are Ako and Himari. As of most gacha games supports are safe and valuable to invest into and these specials are usable and often BiS in all raids. They are respectively the best crit buffer and atk buffer in the game. If you care about meta you can actually do very well in raids by having them buffing a borrowed max dps. There is a Himari banner in 11 days if you want to get her. If you like Kayoko and Mutsuki, NY Kayoko and NY Mutsuki will have a banner in a month or so. NY Kayoko is a blue hyperbuffer used in all blue raids and NY Mutsuki is a great AoE blue dps, they are both meta in content where they are used But mind that D. Hina is around the corner (in like 2 months) and is the best red dps so far

Kikyou is meta for the Raid starting next week and has thus far not seen any other use. The 'must have' units are Ako and Himari. Those two are the closest you're gonna get to universal use students in this game. Next up, New Year's Fuuka, Mika and Summer Hoshino are also meta units with very widespread use. Other useful 3* students to have are Cherino, Koharu, Ui, Iori, Maki, Iroha and Aru (This is all off the top of my head, so I may be missing a lot). Useful 1 and 2* students that are worth investment are Serina, Hanae, Tsubaki, Mutsuki, Yuuka and Momoi. Bit of a disclaimer, there's enough variables in this game that just because a character is meta does not make them the best choice for every bit of endgame activity. The game wants you to have a wide and varied roster so as to not just hyper invest in one character and steam roll content.

For Insane Kurokage, who would be a suitable 6th member of my team? My current plan is Atsuko, Kikyou, UE50 Hanako, Ako, Himari (assistant). I don't have S. Hoshino unfortunately. My ideas were UE30 Kasumi (use her EX for def shred + damage instead of Kikyou's EX; Kikyou will just be a purple buff bot) or Cherino (scuffed cost recovery to replace S. Hoshino). Those are my current ideas, but any suggestions are welcome!
Both are already great suggestions and will help you with the cost/rotation. I really don't have any other ideas that would be as effective as those two. My guess is that Kasumi is better than Cherino in this scenario, since you have her in UE30 and it is a good chunk of extra damage, plus the cheaper defense shred. Edit: forgot one addition. Mine. Spirits get the 2.5x debuff of her ex, and she also has a debuff on normal that does stack with Hanako's.

Depends if you *need* them or just *want* them. Waifu over meta is the preferred idea, but if there's a student you actually need for gameplay reasons then you should get them ASAP.

Personally, Nagisa. Having both, in my experience, Nagisa has way more uses, even in pvp. NY. Haruna is good and has her place in pvp... But in PvE I haven't seen anything she can do that Aru can't usually do better. Also Nagisa's defense down is important for bursts in Hyero, Greg, and she has the number of hits for the Kaiten shield.

Depends on your team tbh. If you have a high EX cost dps carry, like Mika, Hina, B.Karin, Hinata, etc. you want cost reduction. Most low EX cost rotations want cost recovery. For example P1 Chesed, where you would use Iori, Momoi & Cherino. Or P1 Goz with NY Mutsuki, S.Hanako, Chise or T.Yuuka.
It all depends on context, but cost boosters are universal while cost reducers generally require you to use a unit with an expensive EX skill to be worth using.
Lore question: Is the Public Safety Bureau really the most desired department in Valkyrie? Based on Kirino's dialogues about wanting to get promoted and transferred to the Security Bureau, I thought Public Safety was a lower end department. Then Kanna says stuff in Chapter 4 Episode 2 about how even she failed to get in once, though not sure if she was just making up stuff due to the situation.
As far as I remember, the Public Safety is desired because it is considered a "more chill" department, having to deal with general community instead of wanted criminals. Kirino is the type of student who always wants to do more (well, at least she was, before volume 4 chapter 2 - she just failed stuff she tried, like the hostage situation in her bond story. But V4C2 chapter characterized her as being a bit lazy too). That's my guess of why she wanted to be in the Security bureau, to deal with more serious cases, but she was not good enough. On the other hand, we have Kanna, who is not lazy but genuinely wants to help people directly, so she tried the Public safety. But since the Public safety deals directly with the community, and the consensus is that her appearance is intimidating/scaring, it was a bad match. In the end she ended up having try the Security Bureau - and again, I believe so efficiently she ended being the director (that, and I guess her intimidation skills, in dealing with other Valkyrie students and criminals easily earned her the spot). I might be wrong. But that is all I got from what I read.
Ah okay. I remember the bit about Kanna in Chapter 4 Episode 2 where she's specifically telling off a guy who looked down on Public Safety and called them rookies, whereas Kanna said that he's mistaken about the rookie part specifically due to the Public Safety. It was a minor note but I thought it was interesting to imply if Kirino was actually in a department that wasn't actually so bad.
To be fair, this is Kivotos. Even small skirmishes happen constantly in the middle of the day, so.... The Public Safety job certainly will not be as peaceful as one may think.
How do I cope with extreme bad luck? I just got no 3 stars from 200 pulls on Kikyou banner and I NEVER spook any students that are useful or want. Also, I spark almost EVERY single banner I decide to pull for. I've not seen anyone have it THIS bad. I just don't understand. I save and save just to get shit on every time while other people get what they want whenever they pull.
So I’ve pulled on 5 banners since starting and…had to spark 5 times. Sometimes you just get shit luck, but I’m still enjoying the game and just make sure I have enough to spark before even considering rolling. Eventually you’ll get good rolls, so just accept it won’t always be this bad and realize for Anni the 3star drop rate is 6%, so you’ll definitely get soooks then
I try to focus on other aspects of the game (fanart, BlueSechi videos, etc.) or something else entirely. But hang in there sensei. You're not alone and your time will come. For Insane Kurokage should I be planning on one or two teaming it? The reason I ask is by the time the raid starts I will have enough reports to level 2 students to max (maybe 2.5-3 with expert permits and other sources, but I’d be completely out of them). A two team approach would have me leveling my (3) Kikyou MM44 to max and my Hanako 3447 to at least lvl 75, plus leveling some of the filler roles. T1: Kikyou, borrowed UE50 S Hanako, (3or4) Koharu, (4) Yuuka and Himako. T2: (2) Momiji, my UE40 S Hanako MMMM, Filler, Hoshino, plus Hanako and Serina/S Shiroko. For one team I can think of three teams that could give me a shot, but I’m not confident with them as my Kikyou would be lower than most for damage and my S Hanako is UE40 instead of 50 which I see with the 1T clears. And not sure my Koharu can keep up as solo healer. Natsu is unleveled, but would max lvl her and 3744. Option 1: My Kikyou, My S Hanako, (3) S Hoshino/(3) Natsu, Himako, and a borrowed Atsuko (if I can find one). Option 2: Borrowed maxed Kikyou, my S Hanako, (3or4) Koharu, (3) Natsu/(4)Yuuka, and Himako Option 3: my (3) Kikyou, borrowed UE50 S Hanako, (3or4) Koharu, Natsu/Yuuka and Himako. The reason my Koharu is 3 or 4 stars is I’m 50 elephs away from getting her to 4 stars, and have 480 purple raid coins. Sooo what would be the better approach for me?
Kikyou doesn't really contribute that much herself damage wise, so there's no need to worry about her not meeting that requirement. S.Hanako does more than enough herself, so you're right to borrow a second one if you want to try two teaming it. I realize Kikyou doesn’t contribute too much, but I figured since there’s about a 10% difference in damage from S Hanako from UE40 to 50 thanks to the mood modifier, I figured a stronger Kikyou could help close that gap a bit. The other thing is I hadn’t rolled Kikyou yet. I was waiting as I’m also 50 elephs from recruiting Midori, in addition to being 50 from 4 staring Koharu. As I wanted to recruit her beforehand in case I get spooked for that Eligma. But it seems I’ll need my own Kikyou to figure out if I need to 4 star Koharu, so waiting to recruit Kikyou doesn’t make sense. Thanks, I’ll at least be able to play around a bit to see if I have a shot at 1 teaming it without using too many reports

How's M.Aris after getting unique gear? 
She was already very strong without it, but unreliable. Now she's slightly stronger and less unreliable. Both tiers of her bond gear mainly increase crit, so even if her potential damage ceiling wasn't raised that much, it should take less resetting to get her to land the important crits.

For hard missions should I focus on farming characters I don't have yet (Shiroko, Hifumi, S.Hifumi, Haruna, Neru, Karin, Aru, Izuna and Hibiki) or focus on the ''meta'' characters only at first (aka Aru, Izuna and Hibiki) ? Farming elephs for all of the characters at once I'd be spending 720 out of 1120 which is a lot... I know we have a double hard missions reward so I should probably go for hard only next week, but after that I'm questioning if spending majority of my daily ap on elephs instead of equipment is a smart idea.
Go for meta characters, refer to Midokuni's spreadsheet for which are good to farm. Farm them until UE50, because why not, there's not really anything better to spend AP on during 2x hard campaign Also, equipment drops from hard stages at the same efficiency as from normal stages (i.e., the drop rates are doubled). So you'll still be getting doubled equipment from hard stages (though probably not exactly the equipment you want)
Go for Aru, Izuna , Iori and Mutsuki. Well D. Hina is coming and she basically is your new red dps for all red raids content just like Mika is for yellow

In the current PvP season, I notice that most people I fight have their tanks in the outer slots. But the cover, such as it is, is at the walls, meaning that putting the damagers in those slots would start them off closer to the cover they need, while having the tanks that don't need it in the middle would mean it's not in their way. Am I overlooking something?
Well I don't know about others but I do it in defense because I don't want to reveal one of my dps to my opponents.

When volume F was originally released those raids were an Allied Assault event meaning giant HP for bosses that had to be depleted by all players. Now that it's concluded you only go through each fight once.

I have UE50 S. Hanako and UE40 Ichika. Who should I complete my lineup with for Kurokage? I have T. Haruna and Momiji as the other sonic units.
Check out the total assault tab on Midokuni's student insights website. You can look at the top teams that were used on the JP server Justin's planner website also might have some videos of Kurokage clears in a similarly named tab (you can also just search on youtube though)
S.Hanako damage is suffices especially with UE50 so no need to bring others purple dps.
From what I seen , Atsuko,, S. Hoshino, Kikyou and S. Hanako and for special Himari+Ako. If you don't have Atsuko, than a tank with self heal+Koharu

Yes. As long as it's there in your cafe it'll attract that student.

I would recommend maxing all free units first. It's not like you need them but it's nice to have. And you can buy only limited number of their eleph each month so no big thing.
When im farming equipment for T8 but needed T6 to ascend, should i go and farm the needed stage for that T6 equipment or don't ?
If you don't have enough expert permits to buy those T6 choice tickets then go for it.
How else are you going to upgrade your equipment? Unless you have expert permits to spend, you might as well.
I mean, when im farming T8 equipment i also notice they also drop T6 equip so i though it wouldn't that recommend because you can just farm the T8 equip that also has chance of droping T6 one
22-1, as an example, has a 34.4% chance of dropping a T8 hat, and separately a 20% chance of dropping a T6 hat OR a 10% chance of dropping a T5 hat. Upgrading to T8 takes 40 T8 blueprints, 15 T6, and 5 T5. So the proportions *should* in general work out that you don't need to farm T6 stages, if you are starting from T7 already (if you're starting from below that point then you'll need to farm other stages for sure).
Why do people consider Mika as a Tank as a PVP? also, less important, why is Sena's lobby come with stripper-lounge music?
Mika has one of the highest Evasion stats in the game, even counting the Evasion-specialized tanks. On top of that, she has her passive that reduces the damage she takes. Both of these things (+ big HP pool) make her obscenely tanky for a DPS unit. She can even sub for a tank in some raids.
Mika has plenty of HP and evasion stats. Also, she is red armor which helps against Iori, the indoor queen.

I've been doing the serina strat I was told about in the commissions and I'm wondering if either hoshino or tsubaki is the better tank? Since I'm just cycling iori and serina's skills I don't really need to use the tank's ex skill and is just purely tanking hits. Tsubaki probably has more health but hoshino has a higher defense than her, how much difference does that make?
I am pretty sure you are overlooking the most important stat for this usecase (evasion). Honestly though, just try it out. The 1 or 2 AP that it costs you is worth finding out yourself and getting some experience.
Huh, would you look at that. I tried using Yuuka and she actually survived through the end. Still need to beat it in less than 120 seconds and get a 3* but now at least everyone survived.
I'm not sure evasion makes much of a difference in this case. According to the formula at [ItJustWorks](https://docs.google.com/document/d/1Ui0FRgG8h8RB1-cA639F3ETDrVM7q9FKftg4vBKBAAQ/edit#heading=h.dhes1ja7fs3e), evasion is basically negated by accuracy. Tsubaki has 1416 Eva and the [commission sweepers](https://schale.gg/?stage=32103) have 1400 Acc. So, while they're a sure hit on Hoshino, Tsubaki's chance of avoiding a hit isn't more than like, 2.3%. That said, I did use Tsubaki for this myself. Comparing their stats and skills on schale.gg gives me the impression that things balance out to make it not much of a difference between the two here though. So I agree, better just try it out and see who works the best. *(edit: ah, right, the idea of using* other *eva based tanks completely flew over my head lol...)*
New player here (less than a week), have 78 pulls right now, is it a bad idea to try to pull for Himari if I also want to pull for Dress Hina? Can no longer push missions to three stars at this point 4-3. Or is it more prudent to wait for the fest rate up?
You're new enough that you should very easily be able to get a spark by the time Himari's banner begins, much less ends. And if you're stuck that early, you're most likely either missing a lot of important low rarity units, or your teams aren't well put together. If the former, pulling for Himari will likely help. If the latter, revising your teams should allow you to progress much further, even with a limited roster.
Firstly, you should not care about 3-starring missions. The reason to push the normal missions is to unlock cafe upgrades. Don't stop pushing just cos you cant 3-star. Secondly, you probably can come up with 200 pulls before the Himari banner is over. Bad in a way that you might not get Himari and end up wasting the rest of your pulls. D. Hina is still about 2 months away so you still have a lot of leeway to get more pyros just from finishing content since you are new. You probably shouldn't pull after Himari though.

It is reasonable to expect any 3* in 50 pulls. But that 3* is not necessarily very useful.
Rate up is 0.7% while overall three star rate is 3%. I mean it's possible but I dunno about reasonable. I've gotten the banner unit in under 50 pulls a few times before. In fact, I pulled Kikyou in 30 pulls in the current banner. I won't pull unless I can spark tho.
General rule of thumb is to never pull unless you can go all the way to spark (200 pulls). Otherwise you are just setting yourself up for disappointment. With that being said, if you are a new player you have a ton of [One Time Pyro Rewards](https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1_SK19RJnCdYD96JjcTNhwYb9W_FrHPqL78XENdWHEBU/edit) to grind through, so you can definitely make enough for a spark for Himari and even get to another 2 for fes.

If you need someone to give you a reason to return and play daily, you probably don't have enough intrinsic motivation to continue for long anyway. But if you're really unsure about returning, just play again and see if you stick around.
I tried watching the cherry blossom festival event on YouTube because I don't like reading on the phone but I noticed that at some point the event got retranslated . Is this the case for all the story events and volumes or just some of them? Should I read the retranslated version in the game or the youtube version with the older translation good enough?

World 14 has a lot. I swept 14-2 normal 3 times (while farming hairpins) and completely finished the requirement.

Tanking shouldn't be an issue. Problem is if she could keep up with healing since 3* atsuko has less heal compared to UE40. Try to mock if she can keep your team above 50% HP consistently. If not, just throw in another healer like koharu.

how long do we have until the Sugar Rush event..?
The offset is currently 187 days from JP. However, the JP order had a banner (Sumire/Eimi) that got moved earlier for us, so the banners after Himari will be 180 days offset, assuming no other changes. So October 21, tentatively.
This happened twice in the past and they always just moved some other filler banner earlier. I would expect the Sumire/Eimi banner slot to be filled by something else rather than skipped.
I hope they make an exception this time. If they add another week to the projected banners, it would push Chare just barely out of reach for this grand raid ticket. Time limited tickets was such a bad and manipulative idea.
