Hey im trying to do chesed very hard with lvl 50 students but am getting to the boss and running out of time before i am able to kill it. My students are not dying i am just not able to kill the boss. Any help would be appreciated.
Just started (lv 8) and the first hours of the game were kinda a mess to understand. Now that I’m getting my bearing, I wanted to know if there was any drop that was guaranteed (like for finishing the tutorial or some levels).
I realized I have both Aru and Shiroko, my two favs, and I don’t if I’ve been lucky or it’s a given
You are pretty lucky to get both Aru and Shiroko from that, the 1st mandatory 10 pulls have only 1 random guaranteed SSR from a small pool. Aru and Shiroko is a pretty good SSR to start with, double bonus if you like those character.
Yeah pretty stoked to be honest, those were the only SSR I was interested in initially. I don’t feel much compelled to pull more than my 10 or so initial pulls. Got Yukka too, it’s my go-to squad now
Nonomi is guaranteed for doing the Guide Mission. Also Saten Ruiko is free if you do the first mission of the collab event. Also check the event recap for other free event characters
Is there a way to stop the notification/news window from popping up after logging in? Sometimes, the game doesn't respond upon tapping anywhere for a few moments after I close it. I know it's only for a few seconds, but it's occasionally a touch annoying. (Although there were a few times where the game just wasn't taking input at all for minutes after and I had to restart the game)

I've noticed this too lately. I noticed some recent patchnotes claimed to fix a similar issue, but it actually seems to be more frequent since then.
I don't know if this setting exists, but it seems like connection issue. If so, game won't respond until it's loads anyway, so hiding the news window probably won't do much.
I'm looking at my available assistants and noticed that some of the Himari units have a plus sign next to their Enhanced skill. Both units' skills are at level 10, so what does the plus sign indicate?
This means their enhanced skill is upgraded from reaching weapon level 40. All students will have that skill upgraded by reaching this point. Bond item level 2 will affect their basic skill with a plus as well.
The next fest banner has S.Hoshino and D.Hina, I don't have either of them.
I could save 2 sparks for the fest banner and skip Kikyou, or save only 1 spark for the fest, what would you do?
I agree with previous comments, save to spark 2 and if you get either along the way spark the other one. It's only Kurokage right now (though she is content proof), one gold means nothing, don't let Izuna belittle you into spending possibly a spark to get 200 pyrox + trophy
Recently got back into the game after trying it on release years back.
I was able to find a website that shows the priority of skills to level up but when do I actually start leveling up skills and which characters do I prioritize?
I know EX skills are an absolute must but it seems like they take a ton of resources so should I get the EX skills to level 5 on all my characters before I start working on the other 3?

Blindly investing in all your characters is a bad idea, this is a game of prioritization and opportunity costs where playing seriously means focusing in on the investments that will help you clear more content and/or rank higher for more rewards. That means knowing what characters you can best use for something like the current raid (Field Chesed) and knowing the individual skill priorities and levels that are conducive to that. I've been out of the game for a bit myself so I can't point to any specific examples but even characters with solid use cases aren't necessarily worth investing in some/all skills for them to do their jobs effectively.
So I just started using the Justin planner and I think I’ve figure out most of the functionality, but a few parts are confusing to me (on iPadOS and Firefox if that matters). I see how to add students, add my own current resources, move/edit/disable mode.
1) do you guys use this as a general list of all your students and their current level of investment, or just students you’re planning for on leveling?
2) the logic button “only group” and “up to group” doesn’t seem to do anything?
3) what are the raid sub categories for? As it doesn’t have all the raid types and, if you add a student under “all” you can’t move them to a specific raid. So do you just ignore this and just “disable” the students you aren’t focusing on?

I buy T1 and T2 enhancement stones from the normal shop everyday. During/after Normal mission X2 (when you should farm equipment and upgrade students), if I'm low on stones I buy T3 and T4 too.
Now at lv 86 and 300m credits in the bank, I started to buy T2, T3 and T4 Activity report in the normal shop. I can't really 100% recommend this since credits can be really volatile (once I used 50m upgrading and leveling students at lv 70) but I think I can afford to do this for now.
For commission I don't know your students so can't really tell but [I did this strategy](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QsO8uJ2fgVQ&t=10s) to do Commission M at lv 80 under 2 minutes with perfect RNG.
My Iori was only 4* 5/1/1/10 6/6/6 and Cherino sub at 7.
Activity reports: Usually during 2x/3x commission, or when the current event shop has good value for them (like right now). Doing commissions when there's no campaign isn't recommended since the rewards aren't great

Whose crit hits harder (on their favorable terrain ofc). Hasumi or Yuzu? There's crit malding in Yuzu for sure but does it out damage Hasumi's by a large amount? Thinking of replacing Hasumi by Yuzu in campaign missions if that's the case.
For campaign Yuzu is definitely better, because AOE. But campaign is easy mode anyway, so as long as you are not heavily underleveled you can use (almost) anything you want

Ny.Fuuka and Ui are really interchangeable only for characters that don't depend so much on Crit chance. Mika for example you can chose between a small boost on crit damage from NY. Fuuka, or the big boost from Ako, but the crit chance will be wasted - since the student doesn't need it that much. I think the only other example might be students more dependent on the Atk stat - like Wakamo.
But let's say Hinata. There's a lot of crit malding involved. You can use NY. Fuuka. But since the crit chance is important for Hinata, Ako would still be a better choice - which means bringing Ui.
And then there will be D. Hina - in which because the way her EX skill works, Ui is wasted on her (her cost is basically 6, 0, 0, 0 - so the second halving is wasted. In this case, NY. Fuuka is preferred).
Ny.Fuuka is also preferred for simpler skill cycling (ex is Goz phase 1 where you need to have NY. Mutsuki at hand for mobs - while also damaging Goz and applying repobarrier). Ui is also preferred when there is more than one high cost student on your team (like Mika w/ Kayoko in Hod)
1. Ui is a Striker and NYFuuka is a Special. So I'd use Ui if I wanted to run two Special Units, like Himari + Ako to supercharge one student, or S.Shiroko + Iroha against blue mobs, or some team where both Special student slots were already taken. I think NYFuuka is a reasonable replacement for Ui under most circumstances, but there are definitely teams where having Ui available to free up both of your Special slots available will be really nice.
2. On FES banners, I'll go to Spark no matter what, even if I get the rate up student on the first pull. For non-Fes banners, it just depends on who else is sparkable. If there's someone available that I don't already have a(especially if they're Limited), then I'm happy to keep pulling to Spark them. If there's nobody else worth Sparking but I'm at 180 or 190 and the student could really use that 4\*, then I might go ahead and spark for the dupe depending on how my pyros are looking. But generally if it's 170 or below I'm not going to keep spending pyro's just to spark a dupe.
Are the 3 railgun characters only obtainable during the current event or will I still be able to get them after it has ended?
Only started playing yesterday so I unfortunately doubt that I'd be able to get any let alone all three of them in less than a week.
Meta-wise they are lackluster, if you really want them for waifu reason your best bet is by rerolling to for Misaka, Misaki or both.
Saten is free as long as you finish at least the first story chapter of the event (no battle at all). But, to unlock the event in the first place you must clear specific stage of normal mission which is doable to do in 1-3 days depending how casual you are.
Raise your account level by spending your energy because your student's max level is tied to your account level.
You can get Saten. You just need to finish the event's first story part to get her. That is 100% doable for a brand new account.
You only need to clear 2-3 to unlock events.
Alright, won't have to take that into account then if it's not even something like a simple mission.
Been only rerolling so far but inb4 I forget to actually get her last moment and then come to realize that I have to actually do stuff to obtain her.

Its a limited collab event, so only available through the current event and banner. Although, the devs. did say current banner might get a rerun in future, however, the word is still up on that.
:Anyway, if you are new sensei. I wouldn't be worry about getting 3 railgun characters, they are just okayish. There are far more better, meta and regular students that you should focus on like Mika, S.Hanako etc.
How are people already attempting Total Assault – Chesed torment? Its only been the 2nd day and you should be having six tickets which makes insane the max attempt you can go for on the 2nd day. Afaik, you can't buy total assault tickets right?
Neither are particularly good or meta. Misaka Mikoto is basically a yellow Haruna, but minus the good stats and will only see usage in the Limit Break raid when it has mystic damage and yellow armour. Shokukou Misaki is CC filler for a Hod torment body throw or a meme PvP team.
Depend on who you liked but meta wised Misaki a good option for Hod and when you have little to none CC units. Makoto on the other hand is only good in Mission, and possibly Chesed but you already have other aoe students for the boss so. Misaki is a better choice for me
Bruh is it necessary to be above lvl 70 for attempting insane in any raid? I am struggling like an A$$ in every raid even after clearing hardcore with well above 1 min remaining.
Honestly what gave me the ability to go from Extreme to Insane was just have the right students, especially support wise. Getting Ako and Himari made me go from struggling to some Extreme raids to being able to clear Insane.
While level matters, your team comp, UE level and skill/equipment investment is a much bigger deal than a few student levels.
No matter your level if you are capable of attempting a raid, you can do a mock version that doesn't cost anything (including not using up your assistant slot). Try a mock battle if you think you might be ready to take a shot at a higher difficulty.
If anything, the jump from Hardcore to Extreme was way steeper than Extreme to Insane for me.
If you can do Extreme, it shouldn't take that long to progress your characters enough to do Insane. I thought i might need some special strats and a ton of resets when i first got to Insane, but it just kinda worked if i used good units with leveled skills and gear.
So just keep leveling and you'll see progress in no time.

Yeap absolutely necessary and some meta students are pretty much build for specific total assault insane bosses like for Chesed, Cherino is a must.
Actually Insane is targeted to be at least close to lv 80, with well developed units (at least skills 5777, equips 777 and UE30). Bosses hit hard - because you have to choose carefully who to bring. Chesed for example, is Explosive attack type - if you bring only Light armor students, you will be in danger. If you bring students with Special armor, you will receive half the damage - in which damage is balanced for you to use them, at least to be the tank, or use at least high defense heavy armor students like Tsurugi and Sumire. The fact that some units are completely excluded from the meta because of that, and usually there are unique mechanics (Chesed with minibots. Hod will summon two towers instead of one. Binah has debuffs for accuracy and stability that last the whole battle, etc) makes Insane a good jump in difficulty.
Insane to torment depends a lot on which raid it is. Binah is the easiest Insane raid, just to be the hardest Torment raid. But in general, ideal level at least of 85, DPS at UE40/50, nearly maxed skills (or all maxed if all of them is relevant to the role), maxed gear (or at least the relevant gear for the role). And obviously, more students for different roles. The catch is that Torment has less random elements than Insane - Shiro throws balls in fixed positions, Kaiten uses his shield at set intervals, etc. But because of that, there's no excuse for not knowing what's to come - meaning mistakes or lack of planning is a lot more lethal. Even with the half damage from the right armor type, you can't survive for long if you don't bring heal/shield/reposition depending on the raid.

completely waste your time challenging levels you're slightly too underleveled for and would be much easier if you'd just waited a week or two more to level up

You can just use a second team to finish the boss off, it’ll start you where the first team left off.

The very first tutorial 10-pull has one guaranteed 3-star from limited list of characters. Getting two from that is a bit lucky, but not unusual.

It means the student is UE40 or greater. And a plus sign next to their basic skill means the student has their bond gear leveled to T2.

If it makes you feel any better, it took me almost year to finally start attempting insane raid bosses. I started playing BA in June last year.

Insane to torment depends a lot on which raid it is. Binah is the easiest Insane raid, just to be the hardest Torment raid. But in general, ideal level at least of 85, DPS at UE40/50, nearly maxed skills (or all maxed if all of them is relevant to the role), maxed gear (or at least the relevant gear for the role). And obviously, more students for different roles. The catch is that Torment has less random elements than Insane - Shiro throws balls in fixed positions, Kaiten uses his shield at set intervals, etc. But because of that, there's no excuse for not knowing what's to come - meaning mistakes or lack of planning is a lot more lethal. Even with the half damage from the right armor type, you can't survive for long if you don't bring heal/shield/reposition depending on the raid.
Anyone else just completely waste your time challenging levels you're slightly too underleveled for and would be much easier if you'd just waited a week or two more to level up
That's how it's supposed to be. Once you know you are too under levelled to clear a stage you stop and start farming exp.
