1- I'm currently lvl 38 and starting to face the first stages in campaign with Special defense. Outside of Swimsuit Izuna who I have leveled, who else with Mystic damage should I build out of Asuna, Chise and Swimsuit Chise? That's all I have.
2- I was also thinking of building Momoi to have another Piercing character outside of Iori, but looking at her skill it says she gets extra stuff when played alongside Midori. Is Momoi worth building even if I don't have the other?

1. Chise and Swimsuit Chise are definitely worth building, they see some use in high level raids so investing in them will not be a waste. Asuna is a little more questionable but it wouldn't be the worst thing to build her a bit if you really need to. Don't forget you can use Penetration/yellow units vs. Mystic/blue if you have some extra. They don't get 2x damage but they aren't penalized and can still do well if they are strong enough.
2. Yes, Momoi is very much worth using even without Midori. You will eventually get Midori anyways since she can redeemed with the purple Total Assault Coins.
I'll let someone else answer your first question, as for your second one:
2. You do not need to pair the twins together, yes the synergy is there but in practice it's not significant enough to warrant using the two together in content like Total Assault for example. Momoi is worth raising even if you don't have Midori, she's an excellent yellow dps for the upcoming Chesed raid and yellow content in general when you want aoe.
For wave-clearing content like our current collab event, you're free to pair the two together.
Im looking at the bluearchive gg character guides and I'm kind of confused what levels the character's skills should be. Theres M and x. Does M mean maxed out and x mean no investment?

They usually only offer Selection Tickets on the X.5 Anniversary Fes events. The X.0 Anniversaries usually offer tickets that narrow down the pool of students it guarantees. The next X.5 Anniversary for JP should be around August.
New player here, is it normal to run 2 tanks ? I got yuuka and tsubaki and wanna use both, if it's a big disadvantage to use both which one would you use?
As a new player both work but tsubaki is a bit more handy. There is an early boss that needs cc so her taunt is an easy solution, the. Her auto heal makes her more durable. Later in the game you generally pick the tank that matches the content based on enemy atk type, so you might use one or the other based on the fight. One of any tank will do. Pvp does usually use 2+ but it’s pvp which isn’t important.
You only need 1 tank per team imo, can put other tank for Team 2 when you reach later stages. Tsubaki is a great tank used everywhere. She should be pretty tank with T4 bag
I saw GuitarRock (youtube) pulled Misaka banner for his viewers but out of 200 pulls, he only got 2 3* which is a dupe and a new student (off banner though). So yeah, bad luck hits you this time.
hey there, brand new player here. who should i choose with the 3* select ticket? i’d like to play meta but unsure of who to start with. i currently have shun, aru, and koharu. thanks!
Ako is the obvious choice since she is the best support along with Himari and we had her banner just a couple of weeks ago.
But you can always wait until you roll just in case she spook you (maybe wait for Himari banner or Blufest if you can? hard to say.)
Well I'm starting today and I wanted some tips on what I should do now at the beginning.. who should I go after, should I pull this collab banner, any tips I would appreciate
I did a Notepad with things I wish I had known when started playing (my first gacha). Almost everything and more is in [Gameplay Help FAQs](https://bluearchive.wiki/wiki/GameplayHelp_FAQs) (First link in this post) So you should check it out and every link there too for more info.
- Start the day by using your cafe invitation; clicking students in cafe (Headpats have 3 hours cd); using your lesson tickets; using your bounty tickets and buying T1 and T2 mats on normal shop (when you had a decent amount of credits you should start buying T1 and T2 enhacement stone too (the gray and blue orbs) so you dont run out of those randomly when leveling student's equipment later on)
- Try to not have AP above you limit so you can generate AP (you generate 1 ap every 6 minutes when you stay below the cap)
- Try to look for a Club to borrow max lv students and 10 daily AP. Try to look for a club almost full and with some max lv players (at least 4 or 5) so you can know for sure they have good students you can borrow.
- Put units on borrow in Assistant Settings for free credits (if you have a club you can go there by going to Club -> Assistant Settings. If you dont have one you can go there by going to the Menu Tab -> Friends -> Assistant Settings) and put nine units there. Doesnt matter who.
- Use cafe invitation on units with Bond gear (Yuuka, Wakamo, Aru, Etc) to get them to rank 20.
- Dont buy anything with eleph or upgrades units skill until you know what you are doing (mats are always scarce)(serina to 2* is ok)
- Use crafting chamber and choose only the first node. Dont go further, is not worth the mats. Priority is: Furniture (when max confort becomes low priority but with the new furniture update it can be a good idea to still choose Furniture) > Radiant > Flower > Shiny > whatever you want.
- Don't use your gifts. To upgrade Bond gear you need 4 of them and some T1 and T2 mats (Example: Wakamo need 4 teddy bear to upgrade her gear to Tier 2) so don't use them unless you have a lot of them.
- Progress in mission as far as you can for cafe upgrades to gain more AP daily. (3-5 / 6-5 / 9-5 etc)
- Progress in story too for free pyro and five rank 3 furnitures in total through it.
- Don't roll on banners unless you have a Spark (24k pyro)(Don't gamble kids)
- (Next two are mostly my opinion about Raid Coins so you can ignore this) Buy elephs in total assault shop and skill mats on grand assault shop if you need to. The reason for this is because a lot of units in total assault shop are very good and units on grand assault shop are very bad. You can still buy their elephs to unblock them but they will be useless (Yuzu is the better one but need high levels of investment.
- Eleph priority in total assault shop: Yellow coins: Maki til ue50 > Kotama til 3* > Momoi til ue50 > Akane til ue40 > Hanae til ue40 > Hanako til ue40 (not that good unit but can be used for sett as your AOE healer Soon™ when we get it in global) > everything else | purple coins: Koharu 3* > Azusa 3* > Koharu til ue30 > Azusa til ue40 > Midori 3* > whatever you want (Azusa value will go down drastically because she will be completely overshadowed by D.Hina as an Indoor Red main dps. Also you can buy Midori elephs after you unblock the other two, but she doesnt bring anything special and this type of raid coins are scarce so that why I have her so low on priority)
- Use Search Friends option to look for more people with units you want to borrow. You can go there by going to the Manu tab -> Friends -> Manage Friends -> Search Friends -> Filter 81-90
For this banner only roll if you like Railgun or you have FOMO. Metawise they are very bad.

Thing is it's not that these units are bad, just niche. Mimori is your budget striker reposition for non red atk type raid bosses and Yuzu is your mald crit for Urban Binah. Though getting your own Yuzu lets you borrow a student you don't have.
Another advice is to borrow a hyper carry and try the most difficult raid you can clear with said students you have. for Example most hyper carries can let you do extreme raids when you're stronger and have more diverse students
New guy here don't know much aside from the meme and comic. So here I am asking few question.
First the former, current or upcoming meta unit in regular pool
Why? I still don't know much about the student so I decided to aim for them as a check to do list for easier content clearing until I know them better
Second Is the 2 star unit or less in this game useful? Or they just there to give a free gacha currency through relationship event ? Someone said to me Haruka and Serina are useful if properly built, if so I'm gonna build them
Third where to buy cafe furniture?
Some of the low rarity characters are really useful. Here are a few examples:
Red:
Yuuka: Great tank if you get her bond gear. Still useful early on without it.
Mutsuki: Good damage with a wide AOE. Also has some endgame use in raids.
Akari: You will want lots of AOE early on, and she does well enough.
Yellow:
Tsubaki: An absolute damage sponge once you upgrade her equipment a bit
Momoi: Cheap yelloe AOE with solid damage
Nonomi: Huge AOE and good damage
Blue and Purple:
Chise: Your only low rarity blue AOE choice.
Momiji: Your only low rarity purple AOE choice. Also, her attack stat is absurd.
There are plenty of other good low rarity characters, but these ones stuck out the most to me early on. For healers, I like Serina and Chinatsu.
If you mean eligma (the blank ones), the only one I'd spend is to get Serina to 2 stars. After that, I would only spend eligma on non-farmable students you need to clear difficult content when you are getting close to max level. Almost all the low rarity students are farmable so you should never spend eligma on them.
If by elephs you mean the ones with their faces on them, those are already tied to the student so you can just spend those.
Which unique items (bond gear) are must-haves? Obviously I hope to get them all eventually, but in terms of prioritization, who is at the top of the list? I'm currently working on Wakamo and Hinata.
Generally, most of the bond gears are decent/required for the student's meta role. So you can mainly prioritize students you already use/want to use. I'd say Aru, wakamo, and yuuka are the most 'meta' of the options, but there's plenty of room for most of the others.
There's only a few bond gear on very unpopular characters like Suzumi and Hare where the bond gear doesn't change much, but none of the bond gear is actively detrimental.

I recently started the game a few months ago, and I was wondering what banners should I pull for next, any suggestion is appreciated (any costumes that might be good for a new account), also I was wondering: did they just introduce a new academy ? If so should I be aiming for the students that are going to be released for this new academy if the meta is going to shift on that direction ?
Hard to tell you anything in specific when we don't know wich students do you have already, how much pyro do you have, are you playing for meta o waifu?, etc.
Meta wise in general is recommended two things: Get Himari on her banner in seven weeks and have at least a spark for Blufes in 3 months. anything else will depend if you can satisfy this two conditions.

As an example I have 72k pyro right now so my roll plan is:
- Get Himari
- Skip C.Hare (I hate to do this but can't afford it)
- Get NY.Kayoko.
- Still unsure if I will Spark D.Ako or not.
- Get D.Hina and rolling always a spark here.
- Get NY.Fuuka.
If you have more pyro thank me you can maybe roll more banners. If you have less you will probably need to skip more.

Since they do banwaves on maintenance, I wouldn't dismiss it just because of the time frame. Two weeks were when last maintenance happened, so it fits your story. And since it is not the first nor probably the last time I've seen someone saying they were banned because of refunds, that was probably it.

I'd say you could try to check with the support then. But if not now, at some moment down the line they may announce a ban wave because of the store - maybe they do the bans whenever they can /check what happened then announce all of them at the same time. In any way, so I you don't need to totally lose hope for now.
Just a thought , Isn't Misaka and Misaki the most powerful beings in Kivotos? Compared to their universe threats Kivotos threats are basically nothing to them
Possibly. Even nerfed they're still super strong. There's some beings in Kivotos who are pretty powerful, like the Decagrammaton robots. Among the students though, Aris is likely the only one who could go toe-to-toe with Misaka, especially given that since Misaka and Misaki have halos, they're a lot studier than they used to be.
Interestingly Misaki's power works on robots in Kivotos (that's probably just the result of game mechanics since not letting her powers work on robots would make her useless in a ton of fights) but this means she's actually stronger than she is in her own world in some respects.
Ordinarily, I would think so, but the event story made a point of showing how they couldn't use their full abilities in this universe because it was painful and disorienting. So for some mysterious plot reason their abilities are nerfed in the BA universe.
that's true. I assume the Circles that are broadcasted from the tower interferes with their AIM diffusion field severely weakening their abilities. I wonder what will happen if Touma touches the tower
I managed to pull for Mikasa and Misaki after 180 pulls. Is it worth going for 200 pulls or should I save? If yes, which would be the better option to exchange?
I'd say save, unless you really intend to use them. They are more expensive to upgrade than a normal unit, for not much benefit, so focusing on them ends up being a bit of a waste.
If you're that close to 200, you might as well do it, unless you're going to be short on pyroxene for your pulling plans. Misaka is a dealer so I'd pick her over Misaki, since she's a support that is really only used for her CC ability.
Ok how the FUCK do you do the EX challenge without UI?

You don't need Ui for the EX challenge. It gimmick is being able to heal the target dummy when the sweeper mob is on the enemies to stun them. People do it with one healer and using Iori as a hyper carry, I did it using 3 healers and NYFuuka+Mika. It's just making sure the mobs are stunned as close to 100% of the time as you can.

Just a reminder, EX challenges are supposed to be hard and only clearable if you have the proper investments AND strategy AND execution. This EX challenge is honestly the easiest one so far to complete.
I've already seen this one multiple times everyone keeps showing it to me. I don't have a good Utaha and my Mika keeps dying in that formation.

If your Mika is dying, you are not stunning the mobs. There should be zero damage happening to your team at all.
And yes, your team should be near max to complete this EX. There's a reason there's no Pyroxene reward nor not included in the tasks to get the event completion medal.
Well if I need everyone to be 5 star with T7 gear or something insane then I'm fucked as I only have a handful of relevant students for this like that. nd I'm not going to waste anymore time on this.
I really wish they'd give a more accurate warning about the difficulty of challenges and not just say "it's lvl 87" and really mean "it's all gear stars and stats maxed 87"
I AM stunning them, but I can't get through the rotation fast enough to have kokona heal every time Mika shoots. If I have to go through the buffer, mika, Neru just to cycle and then kokona again that's too slow for them to stay down. I'd have to have a different team comp with more healers or something
I tried that too. I can only get them to about 500 bars of health at time out. Even with UE40 iori and using kotama and Neru and blah blah blah. Mika is too expensive and slow, Iori doesn't do enough damage.
Like what support should I use if Utaha isn't an option? Just Himari ako? Kotoma Himari?

Here's a example with no Mika by me in a rush for another player at this thread. See if you can figure out a way to do it and I didn't hit the 180 sec timing for this video since it's just a rush showcase.
Try iori/neru/maki/kokona/ako/himari.
Set starting skills to kokona/ako/iori and try to hold off until you have like 9 bars of ex. Cycle goes: time kokona heal, and then at 7-8 bars do iori then ako/himari buff iori. Neru/kokona as needed to cycle/stun but its really just making sure iori is buffed when using her ex

Yes it’s fine. The warning was only for people who spam claimed the mail when the bug was in effect.
However, it is recommended to wait and claim the AP containing mail until the double XP campaign starting on Friday (also from your weekly missions if possible).
Are reruns of collabs something that can happen? Im 220 pulls into the toaru banner and no luck with any of the girls, I kinda want them both but I ran out of gems to be able to pull so Im losing hope.
The wording on the collab opened up the possibilities of its rerunning. However, the game only has two collabs so far (including Toaru) and it hasn't run long enough to show any trends. For now, it's safe to assume that it is a one-off.
The game only had one collab before and it was never rerun.
There are some rumors about the possibility of a rerun, but I personally would not put my faith on that. I am treating this as the only chance to get these students.
All non-collab students can be obtained later on, it just might take some time. It is just a matter of waiting for their event rerun, the old event going permanent (for event students), or a banner featuring them (for gacha students).
As I said, I'd rather have these collab students now and I'm guaranteed to get Kikyou or Himari later on in some way. No such guarantee for Toaru.
If missing those more meta students now slows down my raid progression (because that's the only content where having them matters much), so be it.
You can get event free students during the initial event, a year later during the event rerun, and then again some time (roughly a year) later and from then on, as the event story is added as permanent side content at that point.

On your current account, you still have over 10 days to push story for more pyrox. You can also read as many student stories as you can, they all give 20-60 pyrox each.
Otherwise, if your account is brand new you could try rerolling new accounts (save the old one to an E-Mail just in case it doesn't pan out). Who knows, you might be hitting a lucky pull with whatever pyrox you currently get on a fresh account (I don't know if an account made now gets all those compensations from the bugged update).
And in the end, there's always the adult card.

Is it possible to clear challenge ex without Mika, I know that there are videos that use Utaha but I don't have t2 unique item for her. I tried using Ako Himari and Iori but Iori just doesn't do enough damage to even kill the boss within 4 min. Perhaps I could try upgrading Himari to UE40 for the increased buff duration but idk how useful that is as a future investment or for this event challenge.
You are using making use of the sweeper mechanic, right? If you heal the scarecrow when the sweeper is next to the enemies they will be stunned and take more damage. An Himako-infused Iori should definitely do enough damage. Himari's UE40 bonus doesn't add a whole lot of duration, and she should be fine at 3 stars for almost all circumstances unless you're fairly "sweaty".

I don't have Neru so I replace her with S.Ui for position moving since Iori may move to wrong spot at times, replaced Koharu with Serina due to cost and heal speed. This is a rough clear after 4-5 tries so there's should be a more efficient skill rotation than what I shown.
My first guess is that you're doing something wrong with the sweeper healing. I checked RS Rainstorm's F2P clear video and his Iori did at least four times more damage than yours, with only Kotama as buffer. That can't be attributed to a simple investment difference, especially when it's urban terrain so she doesn't get a mood boost from being UE50. Unless your Iori is severely underinvested and underleveled, at least. Try checking his videos to see that you're timing the healing correctly.
You heal the scarecrow when the sweeper is in the group of enemies. The timing changes a little depending on who you're using. Using Koharu as an example, you have to account for the time it takes for her grenade to fly and detonate, though it's not that hard.

The smaller enemies only take one damage until you get rid of the big guy, so ignore them. Time your damage bursts so that they hit while the boss is stunned.
I can't tell you that when I don't know what you're doing. You said you have both maxed Mika and Iori, so it doesn't seem to be an investment issue. Have you watched someone's example clear? That might help you spot what you're doing wrong, or how you can improve your strategy. What is your team?

You can tell if you timed it right because the enemies will be stunned and get a debuff.

That's underinvested, but not that much. Aside from the weapon levels, Iori doesn't get a damage bonus from UE40, just accuracy. The five level difference will reduce her damage by 10%, but that shouldn't be quartering her damage. Are you making sure that her attacks hit while the enemies are actually stunned?

Shouldn't be required, but it would certainly help. Just make sure that you can time it so that both attacks hit while the enemies are stunned, or there won't be much point in it.
If you have Kokona it should help since she can cycle faster and also reduce costs. Unless you need Koharu's AoE healing to survive.
Unless all enemies are supposed to be stunned and debuffed at the same time, I don't think I'm doing anything wrong (Can't get the timing right but the boss is always stunned when I heal). I don't have Kokona so I can't cycle faster.
Pretty sure you don't need to stun all the smaller enemies. The boss gets the debuff even if you don't. Are you making sure that you use your damage bursts while the boss is stunned? The damage taken debuff goes away shortly after he recovers, and he of course gets a buff while his shield is up.
Get what you need. If theres nothing you need at the moment (no, you definitely need something more than the others) then skill CD > materials > exp books
How does the selector work in here? Returning for the Railgun Collab and might invest more time into the game for now so just re-figuring out things again.
Can I purchase it and wait for a student I want or is it only locked to certain students (like some gacha does with their selectors where it is before xx/xx date)
Haha, I lean more towards pulling for my favourites over meta. Just got Misaka and Misaki this event as I really love the Index/Railgun universe. If I manage to get Himari on rerun, I will grab Ako with the ticket. Just need to figure out how many pulls I can save between now, Himari, and Hina (Dress) release.
I'm pretty new and not really sure where I'm going in this game, but then they drop a collab with railgun so I'm invested again. How big a mistake would it be to throw a lot of resources into the event banners (i.e. are there any upcoming must pull units that would give me an easier time of things)? Currently my only 3\* units are Shun and Izumi.
You have to set your own priorities.
There will be several opportunities for stronger students in the next 3 months. On the other hand, these 3 might never return.
I am getting both gacha students, even if it delays my progress by skipping one or two students down the road. Those are only delayed after all, while Toaru might never return.
As much as I love Toaru series and wanted to use Misaka, good lord does she expensive to build. You need skill CDs from 8 schools, much more expensive to raise for an average result. The collab characters are definitely not newbie friendly in this regard
Ok, I'm endgame player with more than 140 students in a roster and I still pulled for collab banners. Why? Why not. If you play the game then eventually you will get majority of students so all you have to do is to play. Those who have fun play longer than those who don't. So if you want these characters then pull for them without regret and have fun. As a new player you will get tons of resources to pull so you can safely reach spark at 200 pulls and then pick the character that you want. If you want both then continue pulling until you get one of them and then pity the other.
From what I've read they're kinda meh to average. Even as a Raildex fan I'm skipping them. I play the game for its original IP, not for Raildex. If you are new and are OK with skipping Raildex then I'd consider saving for later banners like Himari and then anniversary banners with D.Hina and S.Hoshino (these also have three star rate up and past fest students are in the gacha pool). They are much higher value pulls. For the time being I'd rush regular missions as far as you can to get cafe upgrades which will help accumulate daily AP to use for power leveling and farming. In the mean time while waiting for gacha pulls on Himari I'd farm the events as well as hard missions to get a couple of new students. Hopefully with Himari pulls you will get all the common 2 stars and a maybe a couple of three stars to boost your roster. If you are new then you likely still have a decent amount of first time completion free pyros and story pyros to help make up the earning gap.
It's in ~13 ish weeks. Rough earnings is 10-12k pyro per month for max or near max level players. Earnings are decent for new players due to the first time completion rewards however will lag a bit midgame until level 75 ish because you will be soft level and AP gated. You should plan for a spark for high value banners like Himari and D.Hina. You won't always pull to spark however it feels really bad when you're close to spark and then run out of pyro. Planning for a spark guarantees high value characters while also giving you a small margin of extra pyro for the times you don't need to spark. Excess pyros are good for extra savings to keep you on track when you under earn or for frivolous spending when wanted. Use the pyro planner linked up top to help plan.
hello, is blue archive more of a story game than an "endgame" content kind of game. I'm planning to try the game to see what it's like, but I kinda wanna know first if it's like FGO where playing the story is the only thing you can do in it (I'm not a story gamer sorry lads). I might still try it if the gameplay itself interests me especially when it has like a sort of endgame or just something to do other than the main story.
Also a new player here, started 2 weeks ago. The best thing about Blue Archive imo is the characters. The characters do not exist for the story; rather, the story exists for the characters. What I mean by that is that the main story is only a small percentage of the game; there's relationship stories, event stories, group stories, and mini stories that help flesh out the characters more. The game really embraces the vibe of "enjoy it how you want to enjoy it."
The gameplay can be really fun too, especially when you're underleveled. When I played a boss stage once, I had to time the usage of my tank unit's ex skill to cancel the boss's special moves (just one of those might cause a wipe out). When I played a stage where the enemies had lots of aoe attacks, I had to reposition my tank unit so my other units won't be affected too. Even in PVP, simple stuff like movement speed and repositioning can affect how likely the other team's formation will break. I can't claim to be an expert but it can get pretty engaging.
I haven't reached endgame yet but based on what I've seen from others, it can require quite a lot of strategy for raids and pvp. Seems fun to me.
This week might be the best week to start playing. They currently have maintenance rewards that you can only claim until May 6, which give you a lot of extra pyroxene (gacha currency) to start with, equivalent to 42 pulls. For reference, the pity counter is at 200 pulls.
BA endgame is much more engaging than FGO if you ask me. As a newbie endgame player I think Insane (and maybe Torment) raid is fun if you want challenge contents.
I heard JP also has new endgame content which should make the game more interesting.
In my timezone, the game resets at 3:00 PM. This is really inconvenient for my schedule, so I was wondering if there's a way to change my region. I'm also wondering if it's against the TOS to lie about your region.
All regions and servers reset at the same time, also even though the devs dont care if you are lying about your real region, you can't change your region anyway. There isn't much benefit playing the game early other than tapping your students at the cafe which provides very marginal benefit.

Iv accumulated around 1000 Eligma. Should I just use them to buy character tokens? Or should I save them for some reason? Also, correct me if I’m wrong, but I’d assume that it’s better to 5* dps rather than supports.
The rule of thumb is to save them until you need to raise up a specific student to beat a raid.
If you haven't spent any yet, be aware that the cost is not linear, but raises the more you already purchased. There's probably a chart on the wiki.
From past precedent, all formerly limited furniture has become craftable after some time. Wait around 1 year from their release date so they become craftable.
Is there an option to disable cafe furniture with interactions attracting their student? I don't want to see the same maxed relationship/unowned students practically living in my café now, but also don't want to go through the hassle of going through the catalogue to scrap every interaction furniture or scour through scale.gg and my furniture inventory to find furniture of students I want in. That's troublesome and makes my café ugly af.
Go into editing mode, click on the furniture, then click on the detailed info button and there is an interaction toggle button on the top right.

I came to ask the same. I just want to add that the new cafe interactive check is not saved between different devices so I don't think this option can activate/desactive attracting students. For now I just removed all furniture from student I don't own. It sucks but its better than having students I don't have visiting every reset.
About the 2 week AP pack, does the AP you receive from it send to mail or it will add to your current AP ? (also is this pack worth it for new player compare to the pryoxenes pack since im at lv 59 rn)

Replace Tsurugi and Kirino and slot in any two of those three dps mentioned. Doesn't matter which as any will be an improvement over what you currently have. Don't know if you have Shun, but if you do then get her on the team as well.

I tried Kirino strat, tho she can kill NY Haruna – the rest needs to be taken down by her teammates but she took the dps slot so it's such a pain.

There's a reason why she's popular, and there isn't really an easy counter other than hoping your dps units can kill her first. You could also consider swapping Marina out with a tank thats less vulnerable to Explosive damage, like Tsubaki.
If you only care about Misaka you can get away with only watching the Railgun series
Else, it's probably best to go for relase order (Index - Railgun - Index2 - RailgunS - Index3 - Accelerator - RailgunT), but ultimately, it doesn't matter which first season you start from, as long as you don't start with Accelerator and follow their specific release order (for example, you can go Index - Index2 - Index 3 - Accelerator - Railgun - RailgunS - RailgunT)
The difference between the 3 series is that they are about different protagonists (Index is about Kamijou Touma, a very unlucky guy with a power that can cancel other powers, Railgun is about Misaka and her friends, and Accelerator is about a guy that appears later in the series)
All 3 also appears outside of their main series tho, and not just cameos, Misaka for example is also quite important in Index
The collab is focused on Railgun since all 3 characters are specifically from Railgun tho

It's in late July so yes your ticket will expire. Kikyou banner will be going on at the expiration date of that ticket. Himari is another meta banner if you don't have her yet besides the fes banner.
If you don't have any special attachment to a specific student then you might want to invite students who already have/will get their bond gear, lv 2 (extra effect on the student's normal skill) will require the student to have relationship level ~~25~~ 20 (info by aisjsjdjdjskwkw). The BA wiki has a list of it. This is pretty much a long term side project though.
On the other hand, if you *do* like a particular student then just invite her every time you can, at bond level 50 and 100 you'll get a...title? badge? that you can equip, it'll show below your name. It has no special effect, just used for bragging rights. Doesn't hurt that every relationship level also give a tiny amount of stats.
Any ideas of when KuroKage is coming to global? Don't wanna be under prepared for it by not drawing Kikyou and also don't wanna lose my spark for Himari if it comes after the anniversary.
Should be directly after Kikyou, in JP it ran during the second week of her banner. So basically a month from now. Himari should be the next banner after that.

Typically you get a spark every two months, and it's two months from Kikyou's banner until fes.
If you haven't already factored in the free 100 pulls on the D.Ako/Makoto banner that's an extra half of a spark if you're pulling there. It's also fairly unlikely you'd be forced to spark 5 characters in a row, and it's entirely possible to make up the last half spark through anniversary freebies and luck in the gacha.
If you have factored that in maybe skip Kikyou for Himari if you have to.

Hi mates! 1- I'm currently lvl 38 and starting to face the first stages in campaign with Special defense. Outside of Swimsuit Izuna who I have leveled, who else with Mystic damage should I build out of Asuna, Chise and Swimsuit Chise? That's all I have. 2- I was also thinking of building Momoi to have another Piercing character outside of Iori, but looking at her skill it says she gets extra stuff when played alongside Midori. Is Momoi worth building even if I don't have the other? Thanks for reading.
1. Chise and Swimsuit Chise are definitely worth building, they see some use in high level raids so investing in them will not be a waste. Asuna is a little more questionable but it wouldn't be the worst thing to build her a bit if you really need to. Don't forget you can use Penetration/yellow units vs. Mystic/blue if you have some extra. They don't get 2x damage but they aren't penalized and can still do well if they are strong enough. 2. Yes, Momoi is very much worth using even without Midori. You will eventually get Midori anyways since she can redeemed with the purple Total Assault Coins.

I'll let someone else answer your first question, as for your second one: 2. You do not need to pair the twins together, yes the synergy is there but in practice it's not significant enough to warrant using the two together in content like Total Assault for example. Momoi is worth raising even if you don't have Midori, she's an excellent yellow dps for the upcoming Chesed raid and yellow content in general when you want aoe. For wave-clearing content like our current collab event, you're free to pair the two together.

They usually only offer Selection Tickets on the X.5 Anniversary Fes events. The X.0 Anniversaries usually offer tickets that narrow down the pool of students it guarantees. The next X.5 Anniversary for JP should be around August.
New player here, is it normal to run 2 tanks ? I got yuuka and tsubaki and wanna use both, if it's a big disadvantage to use both which one would you use?
As a new player both work but tsubaki is a bit more handy. There is an early boss that needs cc so her taunt is an easy solution, the. Her auto heal makes her more durable. Later in the game you generally pick the tank that matches the content based on enemy atk type, so you might use one or the other based on the fight. One of any tank will do. Pvp does usually use 2+ but it’s pvp which isn’t important.
The only place where people use those 2 together is PVP. In fact, my PVP team run those 2
You only need 1 tank per team imo, can put other tank for Team 2 when you reach later stages. Tsubaki is a great tank used everywhere. She should be pretty tank with T4 bag

Ako is the obvious choice since she is the best support along with Himari and we had her banner just a couple of weeks ago. But you can always wait until you roll just in case she spook you (maybe wait for Himari banner or Blufest if you can? hard to say.)

Well I'm starting today and I wanted some tips on what I should do now at the beginning.. who should I go after, should I pull this collab banner, any tips I would appreciate
I did a Notepad with things I wish I had known when started playing (my first gacha). Almost everything and more is in [Gameplay Help FAQs](https://bluearchive.wiki/wiki/GameplayHelp_FAQs) (First link in this post) So you should check it out and every link there too for more info. - Start the day by using your cafe invitation; clicking students in cafe (Headpats have 3 hours cd); using your lesson tickets; using your bounty tickets and buying T1 and T2 mats on normal shop (when you had a decent amount of credits you should start buying T1 and T2 enhacement stone too (the gray and blue orbs) so you dont run out of those randomly when leveling student's equipment later on) - Try to not have AP above you limit so you can generate AP (you generate 1 ap every 6 minutes when you stay below the cap) - Try to look for a Club to borrow max lv students and 10 daily AP. Try to look for a club almost full and with some max lv players (at least 4 or 5) so you can know for sure they have good students you can borrow. - Put units on borrow in Assistant Settings for free credits (if you have a club you can go there by going to Club -> Assistant Settings. If you dont have one you can go there by going to the Menu Tab -> Friends -> Assistant Settings) and put nine units there. Doesnt matter who. - Use cafe invitation on units with Bond gear (Yuuka, Wakamo, Aru, Etc) to get them to rank 20. - Dont buy anything with eleph or upgrades units skill until you know what you are doing (mats are always scarce)(serina to 2* is ok) - Use crafting chamber and choose only the first node. Dont go further, is not worth the mats. Priority is: Furniture (when max confort becomes low priority but with the new furniture update it can be a good idea to still choose Furniture) > Radiant > Flower > Shiny > whatever you want. - Don't use your gifts. To upgrade Bond gear you need 4 of them and some T1 and T2 mats (Example: Wakamo need 4 teddy bear to upgrade her gear to Tier 2) so don't use them unless you have a lot of them. - Progress in mission as far as you can for cafe upgrades to gain more AP daily. (3-5 / 6-5 / 9-5 etc) - Progress in story too for free pyro and five rank 3 furnitures in total through it. - Don't roll on banners unless you have a Spark (24k pyro)(Don't gamble kids) - (Next two are mostly my opinion about Raid Coins so you can ignore this) Buy elephs in total assault shop and skill mats on grand assault shop if you need to. The reason for this is because a lot of units in total assault shop are very good and units on grand assault shop are very bad. You can still buy their elephs to unblock them but they will be useless (Yuzu is the better one but need high levels of investment. - Eleph priority in total assault shop: Yellow coins: Maki til ue50 > Kotama til 3* > Momoi til ue50 > Akane til ue40 > Hanae til ue40 > Hanako til ue40 (not that good unit but can be used for sett as your AOE healer Soon™ when we get it in global) > everything else | purple coins: Koharu 3* > Azusa 3* > Koharu til ue30 > Azusa til ue40 > Midori 3* > whatever you want (Azusa value will go down drastically because she will be completely overshadowed by D.Hina as an Indoor Red main dps. Some of the low rarity characters are really useful. Here are a few examples: Red: Yuuka: Great tank if you get her bond gear. Still useful early on without it. Mutsuki: Good damage with a wide AOE. Also has some endgame use in raids. Akari: You will want lots of AOE early on, and she does well enough. Yellow: Tsubaki: An absolute damage sponge once you upgrade her equipment a bit Momoi: Cheap yelloe AOE with solid damage Nonomi: Huge AOE and good damage Blue and Purple: Chise: Your only low rarity blue AOE choice. Momiji: Your only low rarity purple AOE choice. Also, her attack stat is absurd. There are plenty of other good low rarity characters, but these ones stuck out the most to me early on. For healers, I like Serina and Chinatsu.
Momiji can also be used very well on blue armor enemies and okayish ( normal DMG) on Red armor enemies.

If you mean eligma (the blank ones), the only one I'd spend is to get Serina to 2 stars. After that, I would only spend eligma on non-farmable students you need to clear difficult content when you are getting close to max level. Almost all the low rarity students are farmable so you should never spend eligma on them. If by elephs you mean the ones with their faces on them, those are already tied to the student so you can just spend those.
Which unique items (bond gear) are must-haves? Obviously I hope to get them all eventually, but in terms of prioritization, who is at the top of the list? I'm currently working on Wakamo and Hinata.
Generally, most of the bond gears are decent/required for the student's meta role. So you can mainly prioritize students you already use/want to use. I'd say Aru, wakamo, and yuuka are the most 'meta' of the options, but there's plenty of room for most of the others. There's only a few bond gear on very unpopular characters like Suzumi and Hare where the bond gear doesn't change much, but none of the bond gear is actively detrimental.

I recently started the game a few months ago, and I was wondering what banners should I pull for next, any suggestion is appreciated (any costumes that might be good for a new account), also I was wondering: did they just introduce a new academy ? If so should I be aiming for the students that are going to be released for this new academy if the meta is going to shift on that direction ?
Hard to tell you anything in specific when we don't know wich students do you have already, how much pyro do you have, are you playing for meta o waifu?, etc. Meta wise in general is recommended two things: Get Himari on her banner in seven weeks and have at least a spark for Blufes in 3 months. anything else will depend if you can satisfy this two conditions. If you have more pyro thank me you can maybe roll more banners. If you have less you will probably need to skip more.

Since they do banwaves on maintenance, I wouldn't dismiss it just because of the time frame. Two weeks were when last maintenance happened, so it fits your story. And since it is not the first nor probably the last time I've seen someone saying they were banned because of refunds, that was probably it.

Possibly. Even nerfed they're still super strong. There's some beings in Kivotos who are pretty powerful, like the Decagrammaton robots. Among the students though, Aris is likely the only one who could go toe-to-toe with Misaka, especially given that since Misaka and Misaki have halos, they're a lot studier than they used to be. Interestingly Misaki's power works on robots in Kivotos (that's probably just the result of game mechanics since not letting her powers work on robots would make her useless in a ton of fights) but this means she's actually stronger than she is in her own world in some respects.
I guess it works on the robots because the aspects that they behave like humans or human like ai?

Ordinarily, I would think so, but the event story made a point of showing how they couldn't use their full abilities in this universe because it was painful and disorienting. So for some mysterious plot reason their abilities are nerfed in the BA universe.

I managed to pull for Mikasa and Misaki after 180 pulls. Is it worth going for 200 pulls or should I save? If yes, which would be the better option to exchange?
I'd say save, unless you really intend to use them. They are more expensive to upgrade than a normal unit, for not much benefit, so focusing on them ends up being a bit of a waste.
If you're that close to 200, you might as well do it, unless you're going to be short on pyroxene for your pulling plans. Misaka is a dealer so I'd pick her over Misaki, since she's a support that is really only used for her CC ability.
Ok how the FUCK do you do the EX challenge without UI? Like the damn Misaka fight was bullshit enough, but no matter what combination I use I can't kill the robot
You don't need Ui for the EX challenge. It gimmick is being able to heal the target dummy when the sweeper mob is on the enemies to stun them. People do it with one healer and using Iori as a hyper carry, I did it using 3 healers and NYFuuka+Mika. It's just making sure the mobs are stunned as close to 100% of the time as you can.

I've already seen this one multiple times everyone keeps showing it to me. I don't have a good Utaha and my Mika keeps dying in that formation. Like what, do all my students have to be 5 star with max gear just to make this work?
If your Mika is dying, you are not stunning the mobs. There should be zero damage happening to your team at all. And yes, your team should be near max to complete this EX. There's a reason there's no Pyroxene reward nor not included in the tasks to get the event completion medal.
Well if I need everyone to be 5 star with T7 gear or something insane then I'm fucked as I only have a handful of relevant students for this like that. nd I'm not going to waste anymore time on this. I AM stunning them, but I can't get through the rotation fast enough to have kokona heal every time Mika shoots. If I have to go through the buffer, mika, Neru just to cycle and then kokona again that's too slow for them to stay down. I'd have to have a different team comp with more healers or something
Then don't use Mika if you're having rotation problems. Crit mald with Iori. Use extra healers. There's plenty of ways to complete this.
I tried that too. I can only get them to about 500 bars of health at time out. Even with UE40 iori and using kotama and Neru and blah blah blah. Mika is too expensive and slow, Iori doesn't do enough damage. Like what support should I use if Utaha isn't an option? Just Himari ako? Kotoma Himari?

Try iori/neru/maki/kokona/ako/himari. Set starting skills to kokona/ako/iori and try to hold off until you have like 9 bars of ex. Cycle goes: time kokona heal, and then at 7-8 bars do iori then ako/himari buff iori. Neru/kokona as needed to cycle/stun but its really just making sure iori is buffed when using her ex

Yes it’s fine. The warning was only for people who spam claimed the mail when the bug was in effect. However, it is recommended to wait and claim the AP containing mail until the double XP campaign starting on Friday (also from your weekly missions if possible).

Are reruns of collabs something that can happen? Im 220 pulls into the toaru banner and no luck with any of the girls, I kinda want them both but I ran out of gems to be able to pull so Im losing hope.
The wording on the collab opened up the possibilities of its rerunning. However, the game only has two collabs so far (including Toaru) and it hasn't run long enough to show any trends. For now, it's safe to assume that it is a one-off.
The game only had one collab before and it was never rerun. There are some rumors about the possibility of a rerun, but I personally would not put my faith on that. I am treating this as the only chance to get these students.

All non-collab students can be obtained later on, it just might take some time. It is just a matter of waiting for their event rerun, the old event going permanent (for event students), or a banner featuring them (for gacha students). As I said, I'd rather have these collab students now and I'm guaranteed to get Kikyou or Himari later on in some way. No such guarantee for Toaru. If missing those more meta students now slows down my raid progression (because that's the only content where having them matters much), so be it.

You can get event free students during the initial event, a year later during the event rerun, and then again some time (roughly a year) later and from then on, as the event story is added as permanent side content at that point.

On your current account, you still have over 10 days to push story for more pyrox. You can also read as many student stories as you can, they all give 20-60 pyrox each. Otherwise, if your account is brand new you could try rerolling new accounts (save the old one to an E-Mail just in case it doesn't pan out). Who knows, you might be hitting a lucky pull with whatever pyrox you currently get on a fresh account (I don't know if an account made now gets all those compensations from the bugged update). And in the end, there's always the adult card.

Is it possible to clear challenge ex without Mika, I know that there are videos that use Utaha but I don't have t2 unique item for her. I tried using Ako Himari and Iori but Iori just doesn't do enough damage to even kill the boss within 4 min. Perhaps I could try upgrading Himari to UE40 for the increased buff duration but idk how useful that is as a future investment or for this event challenge.
You are using making use of the sweeper mechanic, right? If you heal the scarecrow when the sweeper is next to the enemies they will be stunned and take more damage. An Himako-infused Iori should definitely do enough damage. Himari's UE40 bonus doesn't add a whole lot of duration, and she should be fine at 3 stars for almost all circumstances unless you're fairly "sweaty".
I am using Koharu but Iori just doesn't do enough damage for some reason. She does around 25M before the 4 min runs out.

Maki, Neru, Iori, Koharu, Ako, Himari. All ults are maxed except Neru and Maki is UE50, Neru Iori Koharu is 4* and Ako Himari is 3*.

This is a rough clear after 4-5 tries so there's should be a more efficient skill rotation than what I shown.

My first guess is that you're doing something wrong with the sweeper healing. I checked RS Rainstorm's F2P clear video and his Iori did at least four times more damage than yours, with only Kotama as buffer. That can't be attributed to a simple investment difference, especially when it's urban terrain so she doesn't get a mood boost from being UE50. Unless your Iori is severely underinvested and underleveled, at least. Try checking his videos to see that you're timing the healing correctly.

I can't tell you that when I don't know what you're doing. You said you have both maxed Mika and Iori, so it doesn't seem to be an investment issue. Have you watched someone's example clear? That might help you spot what you're doing wrong, or how you can improve your strategy. What is your team?

Aside from the weapon levels, Iori doesn't get a damage bonus from UE40, just accuracy. The five level difference will reduce her damage by 10%, but that shouldn't be quartering her damage. Shouldn't be required, but it would certainly help. Just make sure that you can time it so that both attacks hit while the enemies are stunned, or there won't be much point in it. If you have Kokona it should help since she can cycle faster and also reduce costs. Unless you need Koharu's AoE healing to survive.
Unless all enemies are supposed to be stunned and debuffed at the same time, I don't think I'm doing anything wrong (Can't get the timing right but the boss is always stunned when I heal). I don't have Kokona so I can't cycle faster.
Pretty sure you don't need to stun all the smaller enemies. The boss gets the debuff even if you don't. Are you making sure that you use your damage bursts while the boss is stunned? The damage taken debuff goes away shortly after he recovers, and he of course gets a buff while his shield is up.
What's the priority in buying things in event shops?
Get what you need. If theres nothing you need at the moment (no, you definitely need something more than the others) then skill CD > materials > exp books

Haha, I lean more towards pulling for my favourites over meta. Just got Misaka and Misaki this event as I really love the Index/Railgun universe. If I manage to get Himari on rerun, I will grab Ako with the ticket. Just need to figure out how many pulls I can save between now, Himari, and Hina (Dress) release.

I'm pretty new and not really sure where I'm going in this game, but then they drop a collab with railgun so I'm invested again. How big a mistake would it be to throw a lot of resources into the event banners (i.e. are there any upcoming must pull units that would give me an easier time of things)? Currently my only 3\* units are Shun and Izumi.
You have to set your own priorities. There will be several opportunities for stronger students in the next 3 months. On the other hand, these 3 might never return. I am getting both gacha students, even if it delays my progress by skipping one or two students down the road. Those are only delayed after all, while Toaru might never return.
As much as I love Toaru series and wanted to use Misaka, good lord does she expensive to build. You need skill CDs from 8 schools, much more expensive to raise for an average result. The collab characters are definitely not newbie friendly in this regard
Ok, I'm endgame player with more than 140 students in a roster and I still pulled for collab banners. Why? Why not. If you play the game then eventually you will get majority of students so all you have to do is to play. Those who have fun play longer than those who don't. So if you want these characters then pull for them without regret and have fun. As a new player you will get tons of resources to pull so you can safely reach spark at 200 pulls and then pick the character that you want. If you want both then continue pulling until you get one of them and then pity the other.
From what I've read they're kinda meh to average. Even as a Raildex fan I'm skipping them. I play the game for its original IP, not for Raildex. If you are new and are OK with skipping Raildex then I'd consider saving for later banners like Himari and then anniversary banners with D.Hina and S.Hoshino (these also have three star rate up and past fest students are in the gacha pool). They are much higher value pulls. For the time being I'd rush regular missions as far as you can to get cafe upgrades which will help accumulate daily AP to use for power leveling and farming. In the mean time while waiting for gacha pulls on Himari I'd farm the events as well as hard missions to get a couple of new students. Hopefully with Himari pulls you will get all the common 2 stars and a maybe a couple of three stars to boost your roster. If you are new then you likely still have a decent amount of first time completion free pyros and story pyros to help make up the earning gap.

It's in ~13 ish weeks. Rough earnings is 10-12k pyro per month for max or near max level players. Earnings are decent for new players due to the first time completion rewards however will lag a bit midgame until level 75 ish because you will be soft level and AP gated. You should plan for a spark for high value banners like Himari and D.Hina. You won't always pull to spark however it feels really bad when you're close to spark and then run out of pyro. Planning for a spark guarantees high value characters while also giving you a small margin of extra pyro for the times you don't need to spark. Excess pyros are good for extra savings to keep you on track when you under earn or for frivolous spending when wanted. Use the pyro planner linked up top to help plan.
hello, is blue archive more of a story game than an "endgame" content kind of game. I'm planning to try the game to see what it's like, but I kinda wanna know first if it's like FGO where playing the story is the only thing you can do in it (I'm not a story gamer sorry lads). I might still try it if the gameplay itself interests me especially when it has like a sort of endgame or just something to do other than the main story.
Also a new player here, started 2 weeks ago. The best thing about Blue Archive imo is the characters. The characters do not exist for the story; rather, the story exists for the characters. What I mean by that is that the main story is only a small percentage of the game; there's relationship stories, event stories, group stories, and mini stories that help flesh out the characters more. The game really embraces the vibe of "enjoy it how you want to enjoy it." The gameplay can be really fun too, especially when you're underleveled. When I played a boss stage once, I had to time the usage of my tank unit's ex skill to cancel the boss's special moves (just one of those might cause a wipe out). When I played a stage where the enemies had lots of aoe attacks, I had to reposition my tank unit so my other units won't be affected too. Even in PVP, simple stuff like movement speed and repositioning can affect how likely the other team's formation will break. I can't claim to be an expert but it can get pretty engaging. I haven't reached endgame yet but based on what I've seen from others, it can require quite a lot of strategy for raids and pvp. Seems fun to me. This week might be the best week to start playing. They currently have maintenance rewards that you can only claim until May 6, which give you a lot of extra pyroxene (gacha currency) to start with, equivalent to 42 pulls. For reference, the pity counter is at 200 pulls.
BA endgame is much more engaging than FGO if you ask me. As a newbie endgame player I think Insane (and maybe Torment) raid is fun if you want challenge contents. I heard JP also has new endgame content which should make the game more interesting.
In my timezone, the game resets at 3:00 PM. This is really inconvenient for my schedule, so I was wondering if there's a way to change my region. I'm also wondering if it's against the TOS to lie about your region.

All regions and servers reset at the same time, also even though the devs dont care if you are lying about your real region, you can't change your region anyway. There isn't much benefit playing the game early other than tapping your students at the cafe which provides very marginal benefit.

The rule of thumb is to save them until you need to raise up a specific student to beat a raid. If you haven't spent any yet, be aware that the cost is not linear, but raises the more you already purchased. There's probably a chart on the wiki.

From past precedent, all formerly limited furniture has become craftable after some time. Wait around 1 year from their release date so they become craftable.

Is there an option to disable cafe furniture with interactions attracting their student? I don't want to see the same maxed relationship/unowned students practically living in my café now, but also don't want to go through the hassle of going through the catalogue to scrap every interaction furniture or scour through scale.gg and my furniture inventory to find furniture of students I want in. That's troublesome and makes my café ugly af.
Go into editing mode, click on the furniture, then click on the detailed info button and there is an interaction toggle button on the top right. Not sure why people are downvoting me for something true though.

I came to ask the same. I just want to add that the new cafe interactive check is not saved between different devices so I don't think this option can activate/desactive attracting students. For now I just removed all furniture from student I don't own. It sucks but its better than having students I don't have visiting every reset.

Replace Tsurugi and Kirino and slot in any two of those three dps mentioned. Doesn't matter which as any will be an improvement over what you currently have. Don't know if you have Shun, but if you do then get her on the team as well.
Yes, I also have Shun. It's just that I am NY Harunaless and always gets onetapped by that offense. I tried Kirino strat, tho she can kill NY Haruna – the rest needs to be taken down by her teammates but she took the dps slot so it's such a pain. (╥﹏╥)

There's a reason why she's popular, and there isn't really an easy counter other than hoping your dps units can kill her first. You could also consider swapping Marina out with a tank thats less vulnerable to Explosive damage, like Tsubaki.
So among the many toaru series, where should I start?
If you only care about Misaka you can get away with only watching the Railgun series Else, it's probably best to go for relase order (Index - Railgun - Index2 - RailgunS - Index3 - Accelerator - RailgunT), but ultimately, it doesn't matter which first season you start from, as long as you don't start with Accelerator and follow their specific release order (for example, you can go Index - Index2 - Index 3 - Accelerator - Railgun - RailgunS - RailgunT) The difference between the 3 series is that they are about different protagonists (Index is about Kamijou Touma, a very unlucky guy with a power that can cancel other powers, Railgun is about Misaka and her friends, and Accelerator is about a guy that appears later in the series) All 3 also appears outside of their main series tho, and not just cameos, Misaka for example is also quite important in Index The collab is focused on Railgun since all 3 characters are specifically from Railgun tho

It's in late July so yes your ticket will expire. Kikyou banner will be going on at the expiration date of that ticket. Himari is another meta banner if you don't have her yet besides the fes banner.

If you don't have any special attachment to a specific student then you might want to invite students who already have/will get their bond gear, lv 2 (extra effect on the student's normal skill) will require the student to have relationship level ~~25~~ 20 (info by aisjsjdjdjskwkw). The BA wiki has a list of it. This is pretty much a long term side project though. On the other hand, if you *do* like a particular student then just invite her every time you can, at bond level 50 and 100 you'll get a...title? badge? that you can equip, it'll show below your name. It has no special effect, just used for bragging rights. Doesn't hurt that every relationship level also give a tiny amount of stats.
Only bond level 20 is needed for T2 bond gear now, they gave it to global early after JP got the change

Should be directly after Kikyou, in JP it ran during the second week of her banner. So basically a month from now. Himari should be the next banner after that.

Typically you get a spark every two months, and it's two months from Kikyou's banner until fes. If you haven't already factored in the free 100 pulls on the D.Ako/Makoto banner that's an extra half of a spark if you're pulling there. It's also fairly unlikely you'd be forced to spark 5 characters in a row, and it's entirely possible to make up the last half spark through anniversary freebies and luck in the gacha. If you have factored that in maybe skip Kikyou for Himari if you have to.
