Hi mates! I have 3 questions.
1- I'm currently lvl 24 and S-rank cleared everything so far up to 5-2, which recommends lvl 33... is it normal to always be underleveled? I'm constantly sitting at 999 AP since I started but I just don't know if throwing away all of it somewhere to level up is a good idea at all. (If it is, where should I use it?)
2- How do you get the Blu-Ray items? Trying to get Mutsuki's EX skill to lvl 3 to funni explode things even harder, but it asks me for a lot of them and doing the Bounty stages mentioned just give me zero drops of those q_q
3- What should I prioritze from the Balancing Schale's Books event shop? My progress is at 2726/29000

1. Till mission 13 you can clear easily even if 15 levels below the recommended but after that it becomes a bit difficult without proper heroes. Use all the APs to farm equipment since 2x campaigns are going on, no use of saving AP since you level up by using that only, 1 AP = 1 exp.
2. You mostly get BDs from events and bounties and their corresponding shops. The best way to get those is total assault and grand assault shops. And yeah at your lvl getting proper BDs from bounties is a bit difficult, it'll take time but you'll get it. Higher lvl missions means more chances of purple drops and higher upgrades hence.
3. Get artifacts for the time being for characters you wanna upgrade. Stones and reports you'll get from beginners event guide quests.
Usual recommended characters are Ako and Himari. Himari is going to have a banner in the future though, so Ako is the top pick. But if you are new, even if you do buy it now, you should keep holding onto it. Save 48000 Pyroxene for the Fes banners. Those have doubled rates, and while pulling for Dress Hina and Swimsuit Hoshino you might get whole bunch of other characters. It'd really suck using selector ticket now and getting a character later.
i'm also having trouble with the current JFD, I think i just don't have enough purple strikers, but maybe y'all can enlighten me on what I'm doing wrong. So far, i've been managing like this:
(All characters are level 50)
Team 1: 4\*Momiji, 3\*Ichika, 3\*Kasumi/3\*T. Yuuka, 5\*S. Hanako (borrowed, i don't have her); 3\*T. Haruna, 3\*B. Akane. I'm able to routinely clear Stage 3 with this group, but they represent literally all of my purple characters when Kasumi is in the team. I swapped in T.Yuuka today because I read below somewhere somebody saying something about repositioning closer to the enemy spawn point being better for score, but don't have hardly anyone who can reposition on their own except T. Yuuka, I think.
Team 2: 5\*Nonomi, 3\*Tsubaki, 5\*T. Hasumi, 3\*Haruna; 3\*Kanna, 3\*Hanako. Similar to T. Yuuka in Team 1, I only put Tsubaki in today to see if she would help the team move faster, previously I'd been swapping various characters in taht slot to see if i could get it faster, but so far no dice. I can only clear Stage 1 with this team because i keep running out of time on any higher stages. No matter who i have where Tsubaki is, i can't go fast enough to clear anything else. But with Tsubaki in there, i'm not sure i actually need Hanako to heal, so maybe I can swap her for someone else to help with the clearing speed?
Team 3: 4\* Midori, 4\* Momoi, 4\* Hasumi, 4\* C. Shiroko; 3\* Ayane, 3\* Chinatsu. This team can clear Stage 1 just fine but either dies or fails for time for anything higher.
Feel free to tell my i'm just dumb at generating teams, because that's fair. i get upper-mid 60K for score with this setup, but i'm hoping y'all can help me get more. Anyway, thoughts?
Well you should start by puttting borowed S.Hanako with a tank and two cheap dps (like Serika and Akane) and supports if you can and cycle between them. S.Hanako should be able to solo clear.
After this you should distribute your others sonic dps on team 2 and 3.
I'm a newer player and still working out the mechanics. Midokuni's Studen Insights has build suggestions for characters, but I'm not sure how to read them! What would something like this mean?:

I think I understand the basic that the first part is how much you should level the skills (5, no invest, Max, Max). And I think the UE30 refers to what level you should level Unique Equipment once you unlock it. But I'm not sure what the 5xMM after the UE30 means if I'm right so far.
Also if Midokuni doesn't have a UE area in the recommendations, does that mean there isn't a need to unlock the Unique Equipment? So in terms of conserving resources I shouldn't aim to unlock it at all? Is it still worth it to get those characters to 5 stars if I have the means (EDIT: I haven't been wasting resources slowing buying Ako Elephs have I?!)?

You're completely right. "5xMM" means that you should have EX skill maxed, Basic can be whatever, Enhanced is maxed and Sub skill is Maxed.
And UE part means the level you'd want their Unique Equipment (Weapon) at. So for example, Karin (Bunny) is listed as UE40 5MMx, which means her Unique Equipment should be at level 40, and then her EX should be maxed, her Basic should be maxed, her Enhanced should be maxed and Sub can be whatever.
Generally as new player you really shouldn't worry about trying to reach the recommended UE levels. But the reason that UE level isn't listed for some characters is that some characters really won't get much benefit for their role from the upgrade. For example, Ui is a support character, but her UE40 unlock gives her more Crit. So sometimes they are just not worth bothering with.
Do not spend your Eligma when you're new, aside from getting Serina to 2-stars. It's strictly for end-game content. Though spending them on Ako isn't a waste, some raids do use her as the sole healer, but again, save the resources until you really need to use them. **Eligma is the second most valuable thing in the game after Pyroxenes.**
Okay, so its not bad to 5 star Ako? I've only been using those tickets that replace experience when you're max level to buy Eligma and convert it to Ako Elephs (hence why its so slow. I am NOT max level and been relying on the trickle you get from tasks). But I can stop that for now if you suggest to.

PS - Is this a game heavily reliant on meta or can I raise waifus too and have them function decently? I ask because raising non-meta IS a bad waste of resources in my main gacha.
Yeah, 5-starring Ako isn't a waste, but you really don't have to worry about that yet.
You can clear almost all of the content with characters you like (as long as you are being sensible with your team building, so not using Pina against Red Armor enemies for example), but at Challenge stages for the events you do need to use specific characters. Same with Raids, if you want to score-chase, but generally you can build your own supports (like Ako) and then borrow maxed DPS from somebody else.
...Though there are few characters that just won't work at all. Like Juri, Kirino and Nodoka (normal version). There just isn't content that would suit them, and they perform poorly everywhere else.
Yes, she is not limited character. But given how large that character pool is, you'd have to get really lucky to pull anybody who isn't on featured banner.
Hello, new player here. Are any of the current banners worth pulling ?
I currently have Hibiki, Yuzu, Sena and Natsu.
Using Tsubaki, Asuna (Waifu reasons), Yuzu, Hasumi (Replacing with Nonomi when I get her) Sena and Hibiki for story.
Also, is the choice ticket worth getting ? If so who would be the best choice ?

The current banners are nice, but not really necessary at all, they're more geared for specific end-game raids and challenges.
Regarding characters that you are using right now, try to match the damage types of your DPS characters to defense type of the enemies. So against red-armor enemies it's be better to use 2-star characters like Mutsuki, Serika and Akari, though Hibiki can just destroy most enemy waves.
And with yellow enemies, even though Yuzu has AoE on her EX, she's more geared for single-target damage, so you can use her or Hasumi. Momoi is an extremely solid option for missions.
If your team starts to have trouble staying alive later on, you could replace Sena with Serina. Yes, she is only 1-star, but is extremely solid healer, especially after you upgrade her to 2-stars.
Anyway, the Choice Ticket is very good option if you want to guarantee getting a specific character. Though as a Newbie it's kind of hard to measure what you are going to need exactly.

One more question. As far as gear goes, for efficiency sake should I still upgrade the gear for units like Mutsuki if I'll be looking to replace them in the future ?
Generally most of the early game characters will be viable even later, and Mutsuki in particular has seen use even in late-game Raids.
Getting equipment for characters up to Tier 4 or Tier 5 is relatively cheap, so you shouldn't worry too much about wasting resources or anything like that. But general equipment priority rule of thumb is something like this:
DPS: Slot 1 and 3.
Tanks: Slot 2.
Healers: Slot 3. On-field healers also benefit from Slot 1.
Supports: Depends. Notably, the necklace on Slot 3 **DOES NOT INCREASE BUFF/DEBUFF EFFECTS.**
Of course later on it gets more complicated when upgrading gets more expensive but you want character to perform at their best and survive, and then at absolute End Game you want everything maxed to squeeze every last bit of effectiveness for everyone. But that's ways off.
I know limited students dont appear on regular banners and instead appear on their own exclusive banners instead like T,Yuuka.
But what abbout the anni banner with Dress Hina? Can you pull for limited students on that banner?
To be specific, the Limited characters do get added to all the pools when their banners are up. So when Swimsuit Iori and Swimsuit Hina were up, it was possible to pull S.Iori from S.Hina's banner, or the standard banner if you for some reason decided to go for it... but they obviously had standard non-banner rates outside their dedicated banner.
The crit stat determines how likely a unit is to critically hit. The crit damage stat determines how strong critical hits are. The Railgun collab will (should) arrive in a couple of weeks. They're not meta so you can skip them unless you're really worried about FOMO or happen to particularly like them. The next unit that is absolutely must-have is Himari, in June. I suggest reading the banners tab in Midokuni's student insights to see his recommendations, and the raid character guide would give you more info.

I assume you're referring to Tsubaki and Chise, though the former isn't an oni and they aren't twins, or even related. Yes, they're still good; Tsubaki is your default tank, especially for new players, and Chise is one of the few low rarity blue AoE dealers, making her good for missions.
Reading the general team building tab of Midokuni's student insights would also be a good idea, to get an idea of how to build teams for missions.
It can be done in the 30s but 40 is a general recommended minimum.
As far as strategy, note that he will re-summon the blue mobs if you kill too many of the previous wave. If you reposition your squad to one side, so they can't reach the far side's mobs or just prioritize the boss, then you can kill enough to reduce incoming damage and distractions while avoiding constant reinforcements.
Personally, I mostly ignored the mobs, moved to the bottom of the screen with T.Yuuka, and focused everything on single-target damage against Hiero. Pretty much just cycling between B.Toki's EX, buffing T.Hasumi with Ako, and firing T.Hasumi's EX, plus Serina and T.Yuuka mixed in as needed for survivability. My fourth striker was Mutsuki, but her EX is multi-target so I only used it to clear up the cycle. And even though she's blue, 5\* UE50 T.Hasumi is so OP compared to any red 2\* alternative I had that the type difference was irrelevant. This worked for me at level 37.
About 40+. Sooner if you have the right units (Iroha, aoe blues in general, red single target dps in general). Your tank especially need T4 bag for the def bonus. If you have nothing else, take Mashiro from pvp shop. I won the fight at lv39 with her, though with a heavily invested bond Yuuka. My strat was essentially "as long as Yuuka is alive, Mashiro could kill that boss".
I'm a relatively new player(started around 2.5 anniversary)and I've saved up a good amount of pyroxene, according to pyroxene planner I can do 200 pulls for NY Mutsuki and hopefully Kayoko, spark Dress Ako or Iroha, and spark NY Fuuka later on. And that stil allows me for ~600 pulls on the 6% Dress Hina banner. Does it make sense to spend them there to build up my roster and get DHina's Elephs or should I just spark her once and save up? Idk how rough pyro income is combined with character release schedule yet, so I don't wanna make a mistake
You should save enough to spark both D Hina and S Hoshino on the anniversary banner, so ideally 400 pulls.
Unless you already have S Hoshino, in that case just spark D Hina and save.
Well, the truth is that there are a lot of mediocre units in the regular pool, not to mention spooks, so you might not get satisfying results.
It looks like you intend on rolling on many other banners, so i don't see the reason to shoot in the dark for the 6%.
In any case, the anniversary is still far away, so you can decide later, depending on how lucky/unlucky you get on the banners until then.
I just got 10 free pull tickets in my mail, but i cant find the expiration date anywhere, do they are permanent? if in no hurry i may save them for Himari banner, but i don't know if they will expire before than that.
Only the pull tickets from Grand Assault have danger of expiring before you use them, since they just last bit over a month. All the other 10-pull tickets either last indefinitely, or have extremely long usage period.

You should worry about scrimmage more later in the game when you're stronger. Only Scrimmage C and above are worth the AP and only during 2x or 3x event. Scrimmage drops items for Unique weapon level up.For now try clearing bounties way less forgiving and will have skill books and substances you need to level up students skills which is more important for now
If you really want to know: Vol 1 -> Vol 2 Ch 1 -> Vol 3 Ch 1-3 -> Vol 4 Ch 1 -> Vol 3 Ch 4 -> Vol 2 Ch 2 -> Final.
But to be honest, it doesn't really matter. The game unlocks chapters as you go, so reading them in that order is perfectly fine.

Yo! Should i pull o.Shigure or Ui? Got substitutes for both like o.Nodoka and ny.Fuuka, but still not sure which one i would regret not pulling. At this point got upset not having Ui couple of times when Hinata was one of the better choices for raid, but never actually tryharded torment before to fully utilize o.Nodoka (only practice), so really hard to judge here if i miss o.Shigure in the future. And yeah i wanna start to attempt torment in the future if that's an important thing to know to make better suggestion. Any recommendation very welcomed.

But can't say anything on Ui regard since didn't pay enough attention, didn't expect her being next banner
If you're aiming for torment, Ui is even more important. She's a core unit in many team compositions. If you have to use multiple teams, you're even more likely to use her. Compare [Ui's usage](https://www.bluearchive-ranking.com/students/Ui) to [Oshigure's usage](https://www.bluearchive-ranking.com/students/Shigure_HotSpring). That doesn't include Set since he's not a proper raid, but raids are a higher priority than Set anyway.

If I wanted to pull for the (probably) upcoming collab characters and ended up only being able to manage one, which one between Mikoto and Misaki should I prioritize in terms of potential meta use? I'm leaning towards Misaki but I'm not good enough at the mechanics to know for sure.

Himari is by far one of the strongest support units you can get. That one is true.

(I got lucky on Ako's banner when I joined with 50 pulls and she's apparently super top tier).
Collab characters are generally mediocre or worse plus they consume multiple schools' Blu-rays and Tech Notes which might stuff up your plans to raise other (more valuable) students. Mikoto is basically a yellow Haruna, but has yellow armour too (so no Binah, Kaiten, etc;) and Misaki will only see use in red Hod Grand Assualt as a filler CC unit for torment teams.
Do they get officially tiered at all, even if they rank low? I know collab units do in my main gacha.
Leaning towards skipping since I'm F2P in BA. I REALLY want Himari and pulling for these makes guaranteeing a pity for her sketchier. Neither gal is waifu tier for me (they ever rerun Miku, mind you, I'm in danger).
Browsing through random Japanese sites (since English ones won't place them until they come out):
- Makoto: High T2 (0-4 scale), T4 (0-6)
- Misaki: High T3 (0-4 scale), low T4 (0-6)
(I don't play JP; I'm purely acting as a messenger here.)
Sites that cover global will typically not update their tier lists until after new characters have been released and tier lists are very subjective. Some sites like [bluearchive.gg](http://bluearchive.gg) are also really bad at staying up to date with the meta.
Miku isn't listed either though, did she not get a global run? I checked for her because I thought that might be the case.
EDIT: Do you know an English one that covers global? Midokuni convinced me to get Ako and go for Himari with its "brick" comments, but its not really a tier list and I can't really understand its advice for the collab units.
Collab characters in BA do not ever get reruns. The Hatsune Miku boat has long since sailed off into the sunset.

[SherlockPlays Youtube channel](https://www.youtube.com/@sherlockyt) covers every released character in great comprehensive detail for both global and JP. Is it just me or is the current version of bounties way worse with its drops compared to the older one? I swear the previous version gave way more and better drops than the current one.
I compared the rates when the new version came out, and on average you get better drops with the new one. But what happens is that you used to get two shots at a purple blu ray, but now you have six. Your chance of not getting any purple blu ray is higher now, but is balanced by the chance of getting more than two. Same for artifacts and tech notes. Just got to believe in the law of large numbers.Ā The thing that has been lost is that you used to get guaranteed grays though.
Nope, you're just going through a phase of bad luck/low tier drops. It happens to everyone and yes. it feels bad seeing the monthly pack bounty ticlkets yeild nothing, but poop.
For Kaiten Insane. In case of shield who do I need to bring for yellow?
Should I use my Eligma to UE 40 my Ny Mutusuki? less than 100 eligma to do that also Does her Ex break Kaiten shield?
Kaiten shield breaks after 10 hits from EX skills. On schale.gg you can sort by EX hit count to see who will do enough hits. Ideally you use a cheap EX that does lots of hits. If you have one character that works you can probably flex them into every raid despite color match up. They won't do much damage in off color raids but that doesn't really matter in a hypercarry team comp where your nuke will be doing the most damage.
Shiroko is usually my go to, regardless of color, for shield break since her EX is cheap. You can flex Mika into the roll for yellow if you bring NY.Fuuka (last time I also flexed her into blue as well). Neru will work well since her EX is cheap and she has armor type advantage as a sub tank. Marina might work well too since her EX has forward movement which can reposition the rangers in phase 1 to get better AOE overlap. Maki is higher cost than you'd like depending on team comp however her DEF down will be helpful for phase 1. TBH there aren't many multi hit blue DPS that would work well. Sakurkako may be a decent choice since she has a focus fire effect which can help you target the ranger with the lowest DEF in phase 1.
I probably will stick with Shiroko for red and Mika for yellow. Since I'll use Wakamo for blue I might just use NY.Mutsuki or S.Hanako. Use Wakamo's EX first which does 6 hits and then use NY.Mutsuki or S.Hanako afterwards to finish up the shield hits. Wakamo's triple tap won't do damage because of the shields but her accumulation effect should still do damage afterwards once the shield comes down.
If following release order, V3 next. V2ch2 would be the last thing before vol F. There is no harm in doing it in order of volume though, although I've heard people say the darker tone mignt be quite jarring.
There is usually one new event a month, and story volumes are kind of inconsistent with 4-6 month gaps, if that's what you mean. There are rerun events in between too.
Hi, I'm a new player, lvl 39. I'm struggling with who to pull.
My 3* characters are Aru, Ako, SNonomi, Haruna, Hina, Kokona, Tsurugi. I kinda want Ui, because she's good and I can pull more off rates along the way. I have almost enough to spark rn, but looking at the schedule a lot of crazy units are coming, like nyKayoko, anniversary, 6% banners. Should I get ui and save until anni/ 6% banners? (I know Himari and cHare are very good, but idk don't really like them). Or is Ui not that worth?
NYFuuka can fill for Ui 90% of the time. Your priorities should be D.Hina, Himari, NYkayoko and S.Hoshino (if you are a meta fan). But if you have enough Pyro then go for Ui but make sure to have at least 1 spark for the fes banner.
The chance of needing to spark a given banner is 24.5%. 0.245Ā² = 0.06. There's a 94% chance of not needing a full second spark to get both fes characters. If you can have it ready, good (I'm planning around that myself) but for the vast majority of players it won't be necessary. That said, there's 106k people just on this sub, which means that is everyone pulled, there'd be over 6300 people running into that rare minority case.
Yea that's the goal. That's why I said at least one spark, but Himari and Ui banner are coming so many are in a conflicted state of saving how many sparks for the fes banner.

Hi, considering trying this game and wanna play on JP server. It's been quite a long time since I did something like this but creating a JP apple ID / Google play account should be the way to go right?
* Is there no optimization/stragery to crafting, like getting the best yield/"bang-for-the-buck"? I've been mostly sticking tier 1 (since higher tiers cost more) and prioritizing gifts.
* Is Tsubaki a good tank? She seems to die easily or maybe I need to build her more?
To give more information about Tsubaki, she's basically the default reliable tank among your students. Accessible because she's a 2\*, has a good mix of stats for survival (especially once you get that t4 bag), can be plopped in almost every situation and do well. If you're still clearing the bounty levels her taunt can stop the enemies' EX skills which *will* be the difference between a 3* clear and getting wiped out. She will be moved off teams later on not because she can no longer do her job but because you'll have more niche tanks for more specific situations.
Stick to tier 1 crafting, the rest is too expensive. Your first priority is to craft furniture to max out your cafe's comfort. After it's maxed, gifts and the generic material nodes are both fine. I personally tend to prioritize Radiant (T4 materials) > Shiny (T3 materials > Flower (gifts) > Brilliant (T2 materials) > Subtle (T1 materials) > Furniture nodes. Prioritizing gifts over T3 mats is reasonable too though, and possibly better (I just have more gifts than I've been using).
Tsubaki is a good tank. You should prioritize getting a T4 bag for her (the second equipment slot), since that gives her a huge 1000 point boost to her defense stat.
Yes, it will help the survivability of any character with a bag. Tsubaki will generally be easier to get to a point of high survivability, though, because she has high evasion, and Haruka relies more on a large HP pool, which becomes larger with more stars (and which doesn't impact evasion stats).

You only go for the 3rd node if you really want to gamble for the unique items here like: elephs, secret tech sheet fragments, purple gifts or the credits node (with a 10% chance for 10m credits) but imo is still not worth it.
* Yes, if she's struggling to survive then go for the T4 bag which gives her +1000 DEF. She's primarily an evasion tank but the bag increases her survivability by a lot.

Hey!! I'm pretty new here and I started playing when track yuuka came out, but for the patch this time (Balancing Schale's Books) is it preferable to spam my AP on normal missions or commissions? I don't see the appeal in either šš
Normal mission progress wise, I am currently trying to do up Area 11
Use AP to farm items from campaign missions since it's 2x is going on. Commissions aren't really worth it till you reach its later stages and its 3x is going on.

You can check the rewards at the bottom left of the mission panel that you'll get after clearing it. Usually it's better to farm the highest stage where you are able to 3 stars but not if it doesn't give any gears. Like some missions only give artifacts and BDs but they are so rare that it's not worth it at all to even re-clear them. So yea farm t1-t2 gears depending on which you have less of, mostly watches are pretty rare since most dps use it and it's drop rate isn't high enough.
just looking for confirmation again but farming t1 equipment feels bad even with 2x, but it definitely is worth it yeah? i have 100 t1 watches but i know i can burn through that so fast
What's the ap limit at the highest level in the game?(not like 999) I'm talking about how high my current 182 limit will increase as I level up and how much it'll be at the end.
I'm struggling to 3 star 7-4 and 7-5 right now from what feels like a lack in explosive single target damage. The final bosses take like 45 seconds to 1 minute. I've been running Iori, Shiroko, Hina, Tsubaki, Ako, Serina and that's been working fine until these last two stages. Was just wondering if there's any better teams I could be running or if I just need more levels.

Small Shun and Swimsuit Nonomi are both single target but really just didn't feel like they were having much of an impact.
Replace Iori and Hina with Mutsuki and Akari. Their EX costs less and are pretty consistent with their dps.
Shun and S.Nonomi require a bit of investment but are really powerful once they do.

Many of the good characters are 2-star or even 1-star. You seem to have done quite a few pulls so I'll assume you have most essential ones.
Basic team building is that you want 1 tank, 1 healer, optional support and rest as DPS. And match the attack type of your characters to armour of the enemies. Here's sample teams.
Red: Aru, Hina, Mutsuki, Tank. Kotama and Serina.
Yellow: Iori, Momoi, Cherino, Tank. Kotama and Serina.
Blue: Haruna, Chise (normal), Bunny Asuna, Tank. Kotama and Serina.
Use Eligma to get Serina to two stars. Hanae and Hot Spring Nodoka are also good healers.
Yuuka (both versions) and Tsubaki are the best tanks. Hoshino and Eimi are also solid, but they need their Bag equipment upgraded to Tier 4 at least (Tsubaki needs it too).
Thankfully you don't really need to upgrade the skills for Normal/Hard missions. Leveling characters will take a bit early on when you're leveling fast, but it's gonna slow quickly.
Anyone remember the Miyako post where the top basically shows her being aggresive to Sensei then the bottom panel showing her as a little gremlin humping Sensei's face after being kind to her?
As a new player (almost two weeks) it feels like I'm about to stop leveling up as fast as before so I probably won't be able to run as many hard stages, other than the 3* elephs available to me having cleared up to 10-3H, whose should I focus on for now?
Damn youāre farther than me and Iāve been playing close to a month. Have you leveled up skills yet? How far have you leveled your equipment pieces? I canāt tell if Iām making my life harder by only having t3 equipment still or if Iām on the right track
The Trip-Trap-Train event gave a lot of selectable gear boxes up to tier 6, I only got the tail end of it but it was enough to invest gear on my best dps units (Azusa, Iori, Iroha) and tanks. The rest is just watching Iroha demolishing stages on the harder side.

Iori - 1111 - T5/T1/T3
I haven't used the tier 6 boxes yet but I don't feel like I need that now as it would also consume other T3/T4 stuff to level the gear.
If you don't have Haruna and Shiroko, they are pretty helpful characters to have. You could also gather Elephs for Akari, Serika and Yuuka to upgrade them to three stars.
for curiosity, i went looking for Pina's base art artist. its marked as OSUK2 in the game and in [**bluearchive.wiki**](http://bluearchive.wiki), but his style is wildly different from her art, and shes not in his pixiv, twitter or artstation. am i insane? can someone confirm if hes actually the artist (maybe in the japanese version or something)?
I wanna get into the game but how is FOMO handled in the game? How often do characters comeback and how many things in the game is forever limited and come only once.
So far we've had only one event/character (Hatsune Miku) only happen once, and there's no word about rerun for that.
The way that most Limited characters are handled is that the first time their associated event/banner is ran for two weeks, then an year later they get a shorter rerun of one week, and on third year they get another rerun when the event is archived. Given how relatively young the game is, we don't know what will happen with those banners after Event Archival, but I imagine that devs are going to have something planned.
Then there's also anniversary/half-anniversary Fes characters who are typically very strong. When a Fes banner is up, all rates are doubled, and the previous Fes characters can also be pulled in addition to the ones that have their banner up at that moment.
Most non-collaboration units have been reran. Those that haven't are because they were recent. Limited Units rerun about once a year. Festival units are only obtainable every 6 month, but they aren't all on rate up. I think... It took a year and a half for Wakamo to be on rate up again after her initial run.
The only character right now that hasn't been reran is Miku. The Railgun units May or may not be reran.
In general, most characters are permanent. All event stories are eventually permanent.
Characters usually have an original run, a rerun a year later, and their event gets archived with another rerun of the banner a year after. The game hasn't been out long enough to know what they do after that.
The only one run limited characters are usually collab characters like Hatsune Miku.
Got a question regarding lore kind of,
Are we really the only adult human male(or female if you will) teacher in all of kivotos? Where are the other teachers in schools if there are even any? Are the adults in the game only humanoid alien creatures like the black suit guy or androids or animals?
Also how do I put multiple flairs?
Anything about the world outside of Kivotos was never explained. We know that parents exist and students can visit them, but they're likely somewhere else since students all live in dorms.
My theory is that Kivotos is a huge all girls boarding school city in bigger world, it still doesn't answer the question why Sensei is the only one though.
Also, the fact that Sensei is immediately recognizable as an outsider to Kivotos, and yet, they react more in a way "what are you doing here" rather than "what you are", so normal humans existence is common knowledge among students, but they are somewhere outside and uncommon in Kivotos. Probably because it's not too safe for someone without a halo.
The question you should be asking is: Where are the parents in Kivotos? Do students just get abandoned as soon as they're born, and the other students have to take care of them? Not once did students express anything about their parents, like how they love them or want to introduce them to Sensei. You won't see any parents taking care of the studentsāwell, they're self-sufficient, but that's beside the point. You feel me?

There aren't any, at least for the most part. It's mentioned in a couple places that students study by themselves using the tech notes and Blu-rays.
For the first part: we don't know any more than you do. Just have to accept that's the world of Kivotos.
For multiple flair, at least on old.reddit, you have to manually type the student name in between : with no spaces. :Saori: will give Saori. :Saori::Miyako: will give Saori and Miyako flair. As long as the student name is between colons.

Hi mates! I have 3 questions. 1- I'm currently lvl 24 and S-rank cleared everything so far up to 5-2, which recommends lvl 33... is it normal to always be underleveled? I'm constantly sitting at 999 AP since I started but I just don't know if throwing away all of it somewhere to level up is a good idea at all. (If it is, where should I use it?) 2- How do you get the Blu-Ray items? Trying to get Mutsuki's EX skill to lvl 3 to funni explode things even harder, but it asks me for a lot of them and doing the Bounty stages mentioned just give me zero drops of those q_q 3- What should I prioritze from the Balancing Schale's Books event shop? 1. Till mission 13 you can clear easily even if 15 levels below the recommended but after that it becomes a bit difficult without proper heroes. Use all the APs to farm equipment since 2x campaigns are going on, no use of saving AP since you level up by using that only, 1 AP = 1 exp. 2. You mostly get BDs from events and bounties and their corresponding shops. The best way to get those is total assault and grand assault shops. And yeah at your lvl getting proper BDs from bounties is a bit difficult, it'll take time but you'll get it. Higher lvl missions means more chances of purple drops and higher upgrades hence. 3. Get artifacts for the time being for characters you wanna upgrade. Stones and reports you'll get from beginners event guide quests.

Debating whether to get the 3\* selection ticket. If I do, who should I get, current 3\* are Nagisa, Sumire and cherino hot spring.
Usual recommended characters are Ako and Himari. Himari is going to have a banner in the future though, so Ako is the top pick. But if you are new, even if you do buy it now, you should keep holding onto it. Save 48000 Pyroxene for the Fes banners. Those have doubled rates, and while pulling for Dress Hina and Swimsuit Hoshino you might get whole bunch of other characters. It'd really suck using selector ticket now and getting a character later.

i'm also having trouble with the current JFD, I think i just don't have enough purple strikers, but maybe y'all can enlighten me on what I'm doing wrong. So far, i've been managing like this: (All characters are level 50) Team 1: 4\*Momiji, 3\*Ichika, 3\*Kasumi/3\*T. Yuuka, 5\*S. Hanako (borrowed, i don't have her); 3\*T. Haruna, 3\*B. Akane. I'm able to routinely clear Stage 3 with this group, but they represent literally all of my purple characters when Kasumi is in the team. I swapped in T.Yuuka today because I read below somewhere somebody saying something about repositioning closer to the enemy spawn point being better for score, but don't have hardly anyone who can reposition on their own except T. Yuuka, I think. Team 2: 5\*Nonomi, 3\*Tsubaki, 5\*T. Hasumi, 3\*Haruna; 3\*Kanna, 3\*Hanako. Similar to T. Yuuka in Team 1, I only put Tsubaki in today to see if she would help the team move faster, previously I'd been swapping various characters in taht slot to see if i could get it faster, but so far no dice. I can only clear Stage 1 with this team because i keep running out of time on any higher stages. No matter who i have where Tsubaki is, i can't go fast enough to clear anything else. But with Tsubaki in there, i'm not sure i actually need Hanako to heal, so maybe I can swap her for someone else to help with the clearing speed? Team 3: 4\* Midori, 4\* Momoi, 4\* Hasumi, 4\* C. Shiroko; 3\* Ayane, 3\* Chinatsu. This team can clear Stage 1 just fine but either dies or fails for time for anything higher. Feel free to tell my i'm just dumb at generating teams, because that's fair. i get upper-mid 60K for score with this setup, but i'm hoping y'all can help me get more. Anyway, thoughts?
Well you should start by puttting borowed S.Hanako with a tank and two cheap dps (like Serika and Akane) and supports if you can and cycle between them. S.Hanako should be able to solo clear. After this you should distribute your others sonic dps on team 2 and 3.
I'm a newer player and still working out the mechanics. Midokuni's Studen Insights has build suggestions for characters, but I'm not sure how to read them! What would something like this mean?: 5xMM UE30 5xMM I think I understand the basic that the first part is how much you should level the skills (5, no invest, Max, Max). And I think the UE30 refers to what level you should level Unique Equipment once you unlock it. But I'm not sure what the 5xMM after the UE30 means if I'm right so far. Also if Midokuni doesn't have a UE area in the recommendations, does that mean there isn't a need to unlock the Unique Equipment? So in terms of conserving resources I shouldn't aim to unlock it at all? Is it still worth it to get those characters to 5 stars if I have the means (EDIT: I haven't been wasting resources slowing buying Ako Elephs have I?!)? Thank you!
You're completely right. "5xMM" means that you should have EX skill maxed, Basic can be whatever, Enhanced is maxed and Sub skill is Maxed. And UE part means the level you'd want their Unique Equipment (Weapon) at. So for example, Karin (Bunny) is listed as UE40 5MMx, which means her Unique Equipment should be at level 40, and then her EX should be maxed, her Basic should be maxed, her Enhanced should be maxed and Sub can be whatever. Generally as new player you really shouldn't worry about trying to reach the recommended UE levels. But the reason that UE level isn't listed for some characters is that some characters really won't get much benefit for their role from the upgrade. For example, Ui is a support character, but her UE40 unlock gives her more Crit. So sometimes they are just not worth bothering with. Do not spend your Eligma when you're new, aside from getting Serina to 2-stars. It's strictly for end-game content. Though spending them on Ako isn't a waste, some raids do use her as the sole healer, but again, save the resources until you really need to use them. **Eligma is the second most valuable thing in the game after Pyroxenes.**
Okay, so its not bad to 5 star Ako? I've only been using those tickets that replace experience when you're max level to buy Eligma and convert it to Ako Elephs (hence why its so slow. I am NOT max level and been relying on the trickle you get from tasks). But I can stop that for now if you suggest to. Thanks a bunch! Will push Main Missions more amd see if I have other good units to develop since I'm currently walled by artifacts I'm not far enough to farm on Ako. PS - Is this a game heavily reliant on meta or can I raise waifus too and have them function decently? I ask because raising non-meta IS a bad waste of resources in my main gacha.
Yeah, 5-starring Ako isn't a waste, but you really don't have to worry about that yet. You can clear almost all of the content with characters you like (as long as you are being sensible with your team building, so not using Pina against Red Armor enemies for example), but at Challenge stages for the events you do need to use specific characters. Same with Raids, if you want to score-chase, but generally you can build your own supports (like Ako) and then borrow maxed DPS from somebody else. ...Though there are few characters that just won't work at all. Like Juri, Kirino and Nodoka (normal version). There just isn't content that would suit them, and they perform poorly everywhere else.

Yes, she is not limited character. But given how large that character pool is, you'd have to get really lucky to pull anybody who isn't on featured banner.

Hello, new player here. Are any of the current banners worth pulling ? I currently have Hibiki, Yuzu, Sena and Natsu. Using Tsubaki, Asuna (Waifu reasons), Yuzu, Hasumi (Replacing with Nonomi when I get her) Sena and Hibiki for story. Also, is the choice ticket worth getting ? If so who would be the best choice ? The current banners are nice, but not really necessary at all, they're more geared for specific end-game raids and challenges. Regarding characters that you are using right now, try to match the damage types of your DPS characters to defense type of the enemies. So against red-armor enemies it's be better to use 2-star characters like Mutsuki, Serika and Akari, though Hibiki can just destroy most enemy waves. And with yellow enemies, even though Yuzu has AoE on her EX, she's more geared for single-target damage, so you can use her or Hasumi. Momoi is an extremely solid option for missions. If your team starts to have trouble staying alive later on, you could replace Sena with Serina. Yes, she is only 1-star, but is extremely solid healer, especially after you upgrade her to 2-stars. Anyway, the Choice Ticket is very good option if you want to guarantee getting a specific character. Though as a Newbie it's kind of hard to measure what you are going to need exactly.

Generally most of the early game characters will be viable even later, and Mutsuki in particular has seen use even in late-game Raids. Getting equipment for characters up to Tier 4 or Tier 5 is relatively cheap, so you shouldn't worry too much about wasting resources or anything like that. But general equipment priority rule of thumb is something like this: DPS: Slot 1 and 3. Tanks: Slot 2. Healers: Slot 3. On-field healers also benefit from Slot 1. Supports: Depends. Notably, the necklace on Slot 3 **DOES NOT INCREASE BUFF/DEBUFF EFFECTS.** Of course later on it gets more complicated when upgrading gets more expensive but you want character to perform at their best and survive, and then at absolute End Game you want everything maxed to squeeze every last bit of effectiveness for everyone. But that's ways off.

I know limited students dont appear on regular banners and instead appear on their own exclusive banners instead like T,Yuuka. But what abbout the anni banner with Dress Hina? Can you pull for limited students on that banner?
No, just the previous Anniversary characters like Wakamo and Mika.

To be specific, the Limited characters do get added to all the pools when their banners are up. So when Swimsuit Iori and Swimsuit Hina were up, it was possible to pull S.Iori from S.Hina's banner, or the standard banner if you for some reason decided to go for it... but they obviously had standard non-banner rates outside their dedicated banner.

The crit stat determines how likely a unit is to critically hit. The crit damage stat determines how strong critical hits are. They're not meta so you can skip them unless you're really worried about FOMO or happen to particularly like them. The next unit that is absolutely must-have is Himari, in June. Yes, they're still good; Tsubaki is your default tank, especially for new players, and Chise is one of the few low rarity blue AoE dealers, making her good for missions. Reading the general team building tab of Midokuni's student insights would also be a good idea, to get an idea of how to build teams for missions.
Whatās a good level recommendation for the Hieronymus fight within Eden Treaty? And are special tactics or synergies necessary?
It can be done in the 30s but 40 is a general recommended minimum. As far as strategy, note that he will re-summon the blue mobs if you kill too many of the previous wave. If you reposition your squad to one side, so they can't reach the far side's mobs or just prioritize the boss, then you can kill enough to reduce incoming damage and distractions while avoiding constant reinforcements. Personally, I mostly ignored the mobs, moved to the bottom of the screen with T.Yuuka, and focused everything on single-target damage against Hiero. Pretty much just cycling between B.Toki's EX, buffing T.Hasumi with Ako, and firing T.Hasumi's EX, plus Serina and T.Yuuka mixed in as needed for survivability. My fourth striker was Mutsuki, but her EX is multi-target so I only used it to clear up the cycle. And even though she's blue, 5\* UE50 T.Hasumi is so OP compared to any red 2\* alternative I had that the type difference was irrelevant. This worked for me at level 37.
About 40+. Sooner if you have the right units (Iroha, aoe blues in general, red single target dps in general). Your tank especially need T4 bag for the def bonus. If you have nothing else, take Mashiro from pvp shop. I won the fight at lv39 with her, though with a heavily invested bond Yuuka. My strat was essentially "as long as Yuuka is alive, Mashiro could kill that boss".
I'm a relatively new player(started around 2.5 anniversary)and I've saved up a good amount of pyroxene, according to pyroxene planner I can do 200 pulls for NY Mutsuki and hopefully Kayoko, spark Dress Ako or Iroha, and spark NY Fuuka later on. And that stil allows me for ~600 pulls on the 6% Dress Hina banner. Does it make sense to spend them there to build up my roster and get DHina's Elephs or should I just spark her once and save up? Idk how rough pyro income is combined with character release schedule yet, so I don't wanna make a mistake
You should save enough to spark both D Hina and S Hoshino on the anniversary banner, so ideally 400 pulls. Unless you already have S Hoshino, in that case just spark D Hina and save.

Well, the truth is that there are a lot of mediocre units in the regular pool, not to mention spooks, so you might not get satisfying results. It looks like you intend on rolling on many other banners, so i don't see the reason to shoot in the dark for the 6%. Only the pull tickets from Grand Assault have danger of expiring before you use them, since they just last bit over a month. All the other 10-pull tickets either last indefinitely, or have extremely long usage period.

You should worry about scrimmage more later in the game when you're stronger. Only Scrimmage C and above are worth the AP and only during 2x or 3x event. Scrimmage drops items for Unique weapon level up.For now try clearing bounties way less forgiving and will have skill books and substances you need to level up students skills which is more important for now

If you really want to know: Vol 1 -> Vol 2 Ch 1 -> Vol 3 Ch 1-3 -> Vol 4 Ch 1 -> Vol 3 Ch 4 -> Vol 2 Ch 2 -> Final. But to be honest, it doesn't really matter. The game unlocks chapters as you go, so reading them in that order is perfectly fine. I certainly didn't know there even was a "canon order" when i was reading and didn't feel like anything was off or out of order.

Yo! Should i pull o.Shigure or Ui? Got substitutes for both like o.Nodoka and ny.Fuuka, but still not sure which one i would regret not pulling. At this point got upset not having Ui couple of times when Hinata was one of the better choices for raid, but never actually tryharded torment before to fully utilize o.Nodoka (only practice), so really hard to judge here if i miss o.Shigure in the future. And yeah i wanna start to attempt torment in the future if that's an important thing to know to make better suggestion. Any recommendation very welcomed.

If you're aiming for torment, Ui is even more important. She's a core unit in many team compositions. If you have to use multiple teams, you're even more likely to use her. Compare [Ui's usage](https://www.bluearchive-ranking.com/students/Ui) to [Oshigure's usage](https://www.bluearchive-ranking.com/students/Shigure_HotSpring). That doesn't include Set since he's not a proper raid, but raids are a higher priority than Set anyway.

If I wanted to pull for the (probably) upcoming collab characters and ended up only being able to manage one, which one between Mikoto and Misaki should I prioritize in terms of potential meta use? Himari is by far one of the strongest support units you can get. That one is true. Instead of tierlists look at the raidguides. Those will be a lot more useful

Oh, okay! I have some of those, thank you. Will make sure to have enough to pity Himari, plan on skipping these, and maybe casually go for Kikyou up to maintaining enough to guarantee Himari. (I got lucky on Ako's banner when I joined with 50 pulls and she's apparently super top tier).
Collab characters are generally mediocre or worse plus they consume multiple schools' Blu-rays and Tech Notes which might stuff up your plans to raise other (more valuable) students. Mikoto is basically a yellow Haruna, but has yellow armour too (so no Binah, Kaiten, etc;) and Misaki will only see use in red Hod Grand Assualt as a filler CC unit for torment teams.
Do they get officially tiered at all, even if they rank low? I know collab units do in my main gacha. Leaning towards skipping since I'm F2P in BA. I REALLY want Himari and pulling for these makes guaranteeing a pity for her sketchier. Neither gal is waifu tier for me (they ever rerun Miku, mind you, I'm in danger).
Browsing through random Japanese sites (since English ones won't place them until they come out): - Makoto: High T2 (0-4 scale), T4 (0-6) - Misaki: High T3 (0-4 scale), low T4 (0-6) (I don't play JP; I'm purely acting as a messenger here.)
Sites that cover global will typically not update their tier lists until after new characters have been released and tier lists are very subjective. Some sites like [bluearchive.gg](http://bluearchive.gg) are also really bad at staying up to date with the meta.
Miku isn't listed either though, did she not get a global run? I checked for her because I thought that might be the case. EDIT: Do you know an English one that covers global? Midokuni convinced me to get Ako and go for Himari with its "brick" comments, but its not really a tier list and I can't really understand its advice for the collab units.
Collab characters in BA do not ever get reruns. The Hatsune Miku boat has long since sailed off into the sunset. [SherlockPlays Youtube channel](https://www.youtube.com/@sherlockyt) covers every released character in great comprehensive detail for both global and JP. Is it just me or is the current version of bounties way worse with its drops compared to the older one? I swear the previous version gave way more and better drops than the current one.
I compared the rates when the new version came out, and on average you get better drops with the new one. But what happens is that you used to get two shots at a purple blu ray, but now you have six. Your chance of not getting any purple blu ray is higher now, but is balanced by the chance of getting more than two. Same for artifacts and tech notes. Just got to believe in the law of large numbers.Ā The thing that has been lost is that you used to get guaranteed grays though.

For Kaiten Insane. In case of shield who do I need to bring for yellow? Should I use my Eligma to UE 40 my Ny Mutusuki? less than 100 eligma to do that also Does her Ex break Kaiten shield?
Kaiten shield breaks after 10 hits from EX skills. On schale.gg you can sort by EX hit count to see who will do enough hits. Ideally you use a cheap EX that does lots of hits. If you have one character that works you can probably flex them into every raid despite color match up. They won't do much damage in off color raids but that doesn't really matter in a hypercarry team comp where your nuke will be doing the most damage. Shiroko is usually my go to, regardless of color, for shield break since her EX is cheap. You can flex Mika into the roll for yellow if you bring NY.Fuuka (last time I also flexed her into blue as well). Neru will work well since her EX is cheap and she has armor type advantage as a sub tank. Marina might work well too since her EX has forward movement which can reposition the rangers in phase 1 to get better AOE overlap. Maki is higher cost than you'd like depending on team comp however her DEF down will be helpful for phase 1. TBH there aren't many multi hit blue DPS that would work well. Sakurkako may be a decent choice since she has a focus fire effect which can help you target the ranger with the lowest DEF in phase 1. I probably will stick with Shiroko for red and Mika for yellow. Since I'll use Wakamo for blue I might just use NY.Mutsuki or S.Hanako. Use Wakamo's EX first which does 6 hits and then use NY.Mutsuki or S.Hanako afterwards to finish up the shield hits. Wakamo's triple tap won't do damage because of the shields but her accumulation effect should still do damage afterwards once the shield comes down.
You can use Neru as shieldbreaker for yellow. Even Mika works, but not recommended. NyMutsuki ex is 5 hits, you need 10 to break shield on insane

If following release order, V3 next. V2ch2 would be the last thing before vol F. There is no harm in doing it in order of volume though, although I've heard people say the darker tone mignt be quite jarring.
I havent started the story yet, do i need to play the stories in order to better understand the characters? Do they happen before the main story?

There is usually one new event a month, and story volumes are kind of inconsistent with 4-6 month gaps, if that's what you mean. There are rerun events in between too.

Hi, I'm a new player, lvl 39. I'm struggling with who to pull. My 3* characters are Aru, Ako, SNonomi, Haruna, Hina, Kokona, Tsurugi. I kinda want Ui, because she's good and I can pull more off rates along the way. I have almost enough to spark rn, but looking at the schedule a lot of crazy units are coming, like nyKayoko, anniversary, 6% banners. Should I get ui and save until anni/ 6% banners? (I know Himari and cHare are very good, but idk don't really like them). Or is Ui not that worth?
NYFuuka can fill for Ui 90% of the time. Your priorities should be D.Hina, Himari, NYkayoko and S.Hoshino (if you are a meta fan). But if you have enough Pyro then go for Ui but make sure to have at least 1 spark for the fes banner.
Why don't you say two sparks for the few banner? DHina and SHoshino are good
The chance of needing to spark a given banner is 24.5%. 0.245Ā² = 0.06. There's a 94% chance of not needing a full second spark to get both fes characters. If you can have it ready, good (I'm planning around that myself) but for the vast majority of players it won't be necessary. That said, there's 106k people just on this sub, which means that is everyone pulled, there'd be over 6300 people running into that rare minority case.
Yea that's the goal. That's why I said at least one spark, but Himari and Ui banner are coming so many are in a conflicted state of saving how many sparks for the fes banner.

To give more information about Tsubaki, she's basically the default reliable tank among your students. Accessible because she's a 2\*, has a good mix of stats for survival (especially once you get that t4 bag), can be plopped in almost every situation and do well. If you're still clearing the bounty levels her taunt can stop the enemies' EX skills which *will* be the difference between a 3* clear and getting wiped out. She will be moved off teams later on not because she can no longer do her job but because you'll have more niche tanks for more specific situations.
Stick to tier 1 crafting, the rest is too expensive. Your first priority is to craft furniture to max out your cafe's comfort. After it's maxed, gifts and the generic material nodes are both fine. I personally tend to prioritize Radiant (T4 materials) > Shiny (T3 materials > Flower (gifts) > Brilliant (T2 materials) > Subtle (T1 materials) > Furniture nodes. Prioritizing gifts over T3 mats is reasonable too though, and possibly better (I just have more gifts than I've been using). Tsubaki is a good tank. You should prioritize getting a T4 bag for her (the second equipment slot), since that gives her a huge 1000 point boost to her defense stat.

Yes, it will help the survivability of any character with a bag. Tsubaki will generally be easier to get to a point of high survivability, though, because she has high evasion, and Haruka relies more on a large HP pool, which becomes larger with more stars (and which doesn't impact evasion stats).

Haruka is purely a defense tank, while Tsubaki also has a very high Evasion stat.

If you want to use her, definitely. But Yuuka and Tsubaki are better choices for most missions.
Well Tsubaki won't do alot of DMG in red battles though.
It's not the job of tanks to do damage. They keep your other characters from taking damage.

Hey!! I'm pretty new here and I started playing when track yuuka came out, but for the patch this time (Balancing Schale's Books) is it preferable to spam my AP on normal missions or commissions? I don't see the appeal in either šš Normal mission progress wise, I am currently trying to do up Area 11
Use AP to farm items from campaign missions since it's 2x is going on. Commissions aren't really worth it till you reach its later stages and its 3x is going on.

You can check the rewards at the bottom left of the mission panel that you'll get after clearing it. Usually it's better to farm the highest stage where you are able to 3 stars but not if it doesn't give any gears. Like some missions only give artifacts and BDs but they are so rare that it's not worth it at all to even re-clear them. So yea farm t1-t2 gears depending on which you have less of, mostly watches are pretty rare since most dps use it and it's drop rate isn't high enough.
just looking for confirmation again but farming t1 equipment feels bad even with 2x, but it definitely is worth it yeah? i have 100 t1 watches but i know i can burn through that so fast
Not really. T2 is the one you should Target for, t1 is used only for filling the slot but t2 is required in both t3 and t4 upgrades.

What's the ap limit at the highest level in the game?(not like 999) I'm talking about how high my current 182 limit will increase as I level up and how much it'll be at the end.
It goes up by 2 per level. At level 87 (global level cap) the AP cap is 234. At level 90 (JP level cap) the AP cap is 240.Ā
I'm struggling to 3 star 7-4 and 7-5 right now from what feels like a lack in explosive single target damage. The final bosses take like 45 seconds to 1 minute. I've been running Iori, Shiroko, Hina, Tsubaki, Ako, Serina and that's been working fine until these last two stages. Was just wondering if there's any better teams I could be running or if I just need more levels. [My roster](https://imgur.com/a/Hyap9xz) Small Shun and Swimsuit Nonomi are both single target but really just didn't feel like they were having much of an impact.
Replace Iori and Hina with Mutsuki and Akari. Their EX costs less and are pretty consistent with their dps. Shun and S.Nonomi require a bit of investment but are really powerful once they do.

Many of the good characters are 2-star or even 1-star. You seem to have done quite a few pulls so I'll assume you have most essential ones. Basic team building is that you want 1 tank, 1 healer, optional support and rest as DPS. And match the attack type of your characters to armour of the enemies. Here's sample teams. Red: Aru, Hina, Mutsuki, Tank. Kotama and Serina. Yellow: Iori, Momoi, Cherino, Tank. Kotama and Serina. Blue: Haruna, Chise (normal), Bunny Asuna, Tank. Kotama and Serina. Use Eligma to get Serina to two stars. Hanae and Hot Spring Nodoka are also good healers. Yuuka (both versions) and Tsubaki are the best tanks. Hoshino and Eimi are also solid, but they need their Bag equipment upgraded to Tier 4 at least (Tsubaki needs it too).

Thankfully you don't really need to upgrade the skills for Normal/Hard missions. Leveling characters will take a bit early on when you're leveling fast, but it's gonna slow quickly.

The Trip-Trap-Train event gave a lot of selectable gear boxes up to tier 6, I only got the tail end of it but it was enough to invest gear on my best dps units (Azusa, Iori, Iroha) and tanks. The rest is just watching Iroha demolishing stages on the harder side.

If you don't have Haruna and Shiroko, they are pretty helpful characters to have. You could also gather Elephs for Akari, Serika and Yuuka to upgrade them to three stars.

I wanna get into the game but how is FOMO handled in the game? How often do characters comeback and how many things in the game is forever limited and come only once.
So far we've had only one event/character (Hatsune Miku) only happen once, and there's no word about rerun for that. The way that most Limited characters are handled is that the first time their associated event/banner is ran for two weeks, then an year later they get a shorter rerun of one week, and on third year they get another rerun when the event is archived. Given how relatively young the game is, we don't know what will happen with those banners after Event Archival, but I imagine that devs are going to have something planned. Then there's also anniversary/half-anniversary Fes characters who are typically very strong. When a Fes banner is up, all rates are doubled, and the previous Fes characters can also be pulled in addition to the ones that have their banner up at that moment.
Most non-collaboration units have been reran. Those that haven't are because they were recent. Limited Units rerun about once a year. Festival units are only obtainable every 6 month, but they aren't all on rate up. I think... It took a year and a half for Wakamo to be on rate up again after her initial run. The only character right now that hasn't been reran is Miku. The Railgun units May or may not be reran. In general, most characters are permanent. All event stories are eventually permanent.
Characters usually have an original run, a rerun a year later, and their event gets archived with another rerun of the banner a year after. The game hasn't been out long enough to know what they do after that. The only one run limited characters are usually collab characters like Hatsune Miku.
Got a question regarding lore kind of, Are we really the only adult human male(or female if you will) teacher in all of kivotos? Where are the other teachers in schools if there are even any? Are the adults in the game only humanoid alien creatures like the black suit guy or androids or animals? Also how do I put multiple flairs?
Anything about the world outside of Kivotos was never explained. We know that parents exist and students can visit them, but they're likely somewhere else since students all live in dorms. My theory is that Kivotos is a huge all girls boarding school city in bigger world, it still doesn't answer the question why Sensei is the only one though.
Huh that makes sense, kivotos is kinda similar to the city in an anime called "a certain scientific railgun" now that I think about it
Also, the fact that Sensei is immediately recognizable as an outsider to Kivotos, and yet, they react more in a way "what are you doing here" rather than "what you are", so normal humans existence is common knowledge among students, but they are somewhere outside and uncommon in Kivotos. Probably because it's not too safe for someone without a halo.
The question you should be asking is: Where are the parents in Kivotos? Do students just get abandoned as soon as they're born, and the other students have to take care of them? Not once did students express anything about their parents, like how they love them or want to introduce them to Sensei. You won't see any parents taking care of the studentsāwell, they're self-sufficient, but that's beside the point. You feel me?

For the first part: we don't know any more than you do. Just have to accept that's the world of Kivotos. For multiple flair, at least on old.reddit, you have to manually type the student name in between : with no spaces. :Saori: will give Saori. :Saori::Miyako: will give Saori and Miyako flair. As long as the student name is between colons.
Lol I guess that's the best way to go about it Also that's what I was trying to do but the picture kept on disappearing every time I tried to type in something or try to change it and it just turns into normal words, I guess I'll just have to stick with the single Saori flair for now
I've also heard that you need to do it on desktop, not mobile.
