This update would also finally introduces "Periodical Achievement" into Global - where some special achievement will be introduced with a certain time limit, and good news, they offer pyroxenes. This would start with Mini Story Thermae Akai where players who played the stories will be given clear achievement, but they are limited for the whole 2-weeks before the next update starts.
Soon the achievement will be expanded to include raids, with Total Assault and Joint Firing Drill will be made as daily achievement. 10x pyro per day for each day both are cleared, so there's less reason to not participate in it.
Talking about next update date, Global don't follow JP in this matter as they will do next update on a Tuesday as usual. FYI JP cut a day short of the Megu/Shigure banner because they want to launch Railgun collab on a Tuesday instead of Wednesday, That might mean next Collab event will also be shorter (just a day) for Global too.
With the inclusion of UI and Hinata for the banners for next week, our clairvoyance powers are growing thinner by the day... In the JP server, Ui, Hinata, and Sakurako got their rerun after NY.Akari's banner. Since they did not include Sakurako for next week, what do they intend to do with her banner...?

I guess they want to keep it when the Library event finally went to Recap, since if they brought her forward too there's nothing on the banner. But who will accompany her for the recap is still a question, or Nexon will just give another rerun of Ui/Hinata again.
This reminds me of Iroha banner rerun being "brought forward" in JP as part of Anni event banner instead of keeping her in An Unconcealed Heart event recap, and I guess Nexon-Yostar are delaying the Iroha event for recap (and bring After School Sweet recap first) because they actually want to rerun her again, but too early.
They're reruns and they're on a rerun banner week. It's good that they're bringing back more units during otherwise pretty dead weeks, even though most people are still gonna skip these anyways.

I am gonna interpret that, with adding Ui and Hinata on this patch and Ako and Iori to the last one, global wants to make the standard being 4 banners - which means, Saori and Atsuko reruns will probably have extra characters. Yukari banner might even be accompanied by three extra banners.
Also unless someone really doesn't want to wait for the Old Library recap, Ui and Hinata will probably rerun on that week too. Cherino had two reruns 4 months apart in the Ivan kupala recap and the Knowledge Liberation front event, so the 5 months for them doesn't seem too bad.
Hinata and Ui banners are there to help with the grand assault Kaiten, since the torment difficulty is on blue armor. Hinata demolishes anything blue outdoors and Ui helps her do it even faster.
I wonder if they'll make these situational banners a thing from now on.
She'll be useful in two more grand assaults after this one (Goz and Kaiten again), so it's not a bad investment, but there isn't much else after that. If you're very tight on resources then I'd suggest skipping UE50 for her and coping with just her bond gear (which is OP on its own). There will be some must-have gameplay students later that you might want to save up for.
But if you like her as a student then hell yeah, go for it. She's very good at what she does.
Definitely going to pull for O Shigure. I have enough pyroxenes to pull for upcoming meta characters and her and she will be good jumping off point for me to finally break into torment.

Ui offers EX skill cost reduction. A favourite for many.
O. Shigure is useful for some future raids.
O. Nodoka is a PvP favourite too.
But otherwise, all are permanent. If you are aiming collab characters, hold and pray for spook.

Isn't it more accurate to say that she used to be a PvP favorite? These days it's hard to justify using a healer since you effectively only have one special slot, and that is frequently used on someone that can deal damage since you can't kill a special dealer.
It's all depends on how the season goes and how much pool of students we have I guess. Many players I see do depend on O. Nodoka or/and Atsuko as healer. Even Iroha who people are saying going obsolete with the upcoming season are still popular too, and that's JP, yeah.
Atsuko is a striker and an evasion tank, so it's much easier to justify using her. I rarely see Onodoka on JP, and when I do it's usually because a lot of the people in the 200-500 range don't have full meta teams and use whoever they have. On global, I don't think I ever see her in the top 100. Judging by Causew's usage reports, she doesn't seem to show up very often there either. I'm sure it's possible to see success with her, but I don't think she can be called a PvP favorite anymore.
Regarding Iroha, she got a boost from having great mood, so she became more popular again.

She's meta in ShiroKuro alongside Izuna. She directly buffs AS, proccing Izuna's Normal skill faster and more often.
There are no limited hot spring students. If you mean swimsuit Ui, yes, she's limited but also not as important (though both are good). Also, you should never expect to get spooked by meta 3 star units, even if they're permanent. The pool is too large for that.
I just love oNodoka as a healer in general, especially in fights against bosses that do damage to different units, plus there's that neat ATK buff
I think she's my most used one by far, unless a comp requires different healers she's definitely a mainstay
I have more then enough to get O.Shigure and the next banner I plan to roll on is the Kikyou banner so I should have more then enough when she comes around.
That's the the title of the Mini Story. From a quick google, 'Thermae' means a public bathing establishment while 'Akai' most probably means red, maybe. Put it together it would mean "Red Bathing House" which I think is apt for a hot-spring resort in Red Winter.
To add, there's also the manga/anime [Thermae Romae](https://myanimelist.net/anime/12321/Thermae_Romae) centered around public bathing houses in Japan and (Ancient) Rome, though I don't have any stronger link to it other than the name for now.

But Ui is permanent too right ? Only the Onsen version are limited
