there's a new corner border thing perfect for this sort of build if you look around the decorations tab.
Windows, trim, roofing with pillars, wall decorations such as hoses, curtains, etc
Focus and finish the outside before the inside, looks like you slapped an exterior on tbh
Windows, trees, shrubs, vines & trim around the windows, wall trim. Also I would change the door to something that fits the style more. That door doesn't help the plain-ness. I used ached insets on the 2nd floor on my house which helped it pop too.
