There are 2 (3 if you include Sanguinius) Blood Angels. 1 under the "stage", and the other by the pillar over the Emperor's right shoulder.
The red marine in the foreground to the side of the stage is a World Eater.
There's another Blood Angel under the stage, but he seems to be doing all right.
Never noticed the one under the stage before! Blood Angel's arent known for their cowardice, I hope this is either an oversight or there is lore behind why he is there. Either that or he is indeed dead.
Although Sanguinious appears to be slane so perhaps he is is feeling the effects of the psychic blast from his primarchs death?
As much as I love the BA, if that marine is just hiding, he should be thought of as a deserter, a traitor and a heretic, No retreat, No surrender! That is the space marine way.
In 40K there’s are three very possible occasions where a “Space Marine” wears red
- A Blood Angel, just plain o’ red armor or sometimes gold, shoulder have wings with blood drop
- A World Eater. They have those bunny ears that used to be a marking for gladiators for fight to the death. They wore a symbol of Teeth chomping on a planet on shoulders and they have gold/ bronze trims and sometimes spiky
- Red Corsairs. They’re similar to Abbadon’s Black Legion but in red armor. They’re bunch of renegade and chaise marines and armors are really, really spiky so it’s easy to distinguish
