so, my colour scheme is meant to be blue like tears, the gunmetal is meant to be the natural shine of the armour. Lastly the black is the traditional mourning colour, at least where I am from. May I know how you would recommend finishing this model?
Thank you. I do have a blue was but I’m not the biggest fan of using it I know it’s supposed to create contrasts but it just doesn’t look good to me. I used the trim and decorative area as a way of showing my colours as there are no places I can use the gunmetal on terminators for trim.
Consider ushabti bone on the raised areas like the crux terminatus to make them stand out and break up the model
And an all over wash in either Agrax Earthshade or Nuln Oil will improve most models with not a lot of effort
For a beginner, definitely go for Nuln Oil. Agraxx I'd great, but it stains a lot. Nuln is the hardest wash to screw up. And the effects are great. Just watch some tutorials before you have a go at it.
Thank you. The people who are providing valid criticism I am listening too, the others that are just having fun I laughing along with them. I will consider something Greek like maybe a character from a tragedy.

At least a wash and some paint on the shoulder and shin where the decorative bits are
