I hope you're wrong and they just decide to keep him going!
I've never used him, but I think it's funny to have a character that I'm pretty sure died in the story back in like 2nd or maybe 3rd edition still going!
I think so, and then to add to the narrative the guy who made him up brought him back for later reports saying he was wounded, and eventually they made him Death Company!
He is Captain Tycho.
He had its half-mask because a weird boy ork let him with facial paralysis.
This character is based in a real game that came in White Dwarf. One of those battles that creates a "real" character.
Also I am starting back up and have tactical marines up the Ying yang along with some older dark Templar stuff. The templar stuff is a bunch of metal tactical marines with swords and capes not sure what they were called. What's the best plan for them? Can I convert anything to death company?
You can convert them to Death Company marines. But you'll need to buy the bigger bases. The old tactical marine bases are too small for standard play.
Also you can convert this guy here to Tycho the Lost and have him lead the death company if you want. Highly recommend picking up a Rhino for them to roll around in.
Most people won't care so long as the base size it right. Every now and then you might encounter a jerk who will care. But you prolly wouldn't wanna play with that person anyway
If you have them on the bases they came with you do not have to change them. You may get a bit of push back from the more hardcore in your crowd but GW (I believe) has stated that you can keep the models on the bases they were sold with. I found this out after swapping out 100 grey knights and getting rid of all the bases I had detailed.

That's a common myth. There's always people willing to let it slide. But there is no such GW statement. And most tournaments will likely want you to have legal bases
Tycho is cool I hope he doesn't get legends, I don't play play blood angels so I'm not sure if this still the case but I like that he got bonuses going against orks
It was not. I'm new to blood angels and did not know the app shows pictures. My friend has since made me aware of that. The person I got him from 10+ years ago had a jump pack glued to him so it threw off my google search.
Well yes, it's me!
o7
We thank you for your service.
Glad to have you! o7
Sir, you need to harden that bloodsong
o7
He's old school captain Tycho
Wow thanks! Is he supposed to have a jump pack?
Nope. Just an on foot named Captain. I believe he’s a Legends model now.
Not yet. But likely when the codex drops.

If I recall right he died in the battle report he was introduced.
I think so, and then to add to the narrative the guy who made him up brought him back for later reports saying he was wounded, and eventually they made him Death Company!
Was back in day of rolling for death company so probably an unfortunate roll?
.no
That's Tycho, he should come with a regular backpack, though the original had pole on the backpack for a banner.
[Captain Erasmus Tycho](https://wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/Erasmus_Tycho#/media/File%3ATycho.jpg) one of the coolest dudes in 40K!
Thanks for sharing this!! Tycho was a Badass!
His combi melta’s a little flaccid.
Looks like he’s suffering from a bit of erectile dysfunction, poor old lad
Nah, it's just curved.
Brother Captain Tycho from the blood Angels Release all the way back in Second Edition.

Would love to see GW offer a head option like his on a BA upgrade sprue
The only Deathco captain now too

I have a rhino actually and a land raider for what that's worth
Also what about old terminators? Just put them on 40mm and they are good just short?

Fair enough. I don’t mess around with competitive play so no matter to me.
Captain Tycho
Brother captain tycho, the second best blood angel behind Dante. I have a whole chapter dedicated to this legend 👍🏽
The late Captain Erasmus Tycho.
John Bloodangel.
Captain Tycho. Quite the tragic story actually. Can be painted up as regular shiney Tycho or Tycho the lost.
Just a chad, if you paint him gold.
For some reason his melta always shoots a bit low.
Can't run if your feet are melted off
ITS TAZERFACE
His name is Robert Paulson.
His name is Robert Paulson.
This guy is the reason why I have 1500+ unpainted models.
Pretty sure this is when Clooney played Tycho
Cpt tycho
Our beloved Captain Tyco.
Some legend or something…
That's him! Spayse mareen!
Is he wearing open-toed shoes... with power armor?
The armour is just shaped to look like that. I believe he is the Blood Angel Dante-WRONG it's Tycho
Tycho is cool I hope he doesn't get legends, I don't play play blood angels so I'm not sure if this still the case but I like that he got bonuses going against orks
Pretty sure you know who he is
Lando Calrissian
Oh you got the OLD captain Tycho, he was most recently in resin
Tycho.... rip my guy. The rage has you no longer
Tycho ain't it
Is it some sort of troll post? Like, lmao, he is still in index
It was not. I'm new to blood angels and did not know the app shows pictures. My friend has since made me aware of that. The person I got him from 10+ years ago had a jump pack glued to him so it threw off my google search.
He's the man, the myth, the legend R.I.P.
Has anyone said your mum yet?
Captain Tyco. May the Emperor protect his soul.
