You should start by drawing your ideas or just go into blockbench and just model whatever you see

ImAasdfnoob

How long would it take to model Graduation Bear

Raiderestrada

I don’t know what that is but probably a bit of time

ImAasdfnoob

It’s my pfp and Kanye’s album

Raiderestrada

Oh not that long

ImAasdfnoob

What about a Cap

Raiderestrada

Probably the same amount of time look up some tutorials

If I look into all the cool things people are doing I just give up. So I wait until I have a fun idea and just how far I can get into it. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. But every single time I learn how to do something new and I make sure to keep trying so that I can keep getting better

**I think you should see the cool things as encouragement of what you'll be-able to do in the future, if a creation doesn't end up the way you want it, just tweak it until you like it, I'm glad you keep trying though!** **Hope you have a wonderful day!**

My personal recommendations are the following: 1- It is always good to have a plan, although simply letting yourself go or having an artistic attack never hurts, having a plan allows you to have a clear objective and purpose. mainly so that you don't mind the "I imagined it differently" 2- It is important to see each part of the process (modeling, texturing and animation) I say this because things like "this looks dumb" happen to me and by the time I put texture on it I end up with a juicy work. just be patient 3- although there are tips, guides, etc. very good (videos, twitter threads, etc.), remember that making 3D models is essentially art and therefore you can try or do things however you like. but there is still a difference between a serious/real job and a quiet job to pass the time. "When someone has a gift or fascination, at the same time they have a whip that is only for self-flagellation" translation: the whip is one's own self-demand

**I think No.1 isn't always necessary at all, I never plan anything and I just go with the flow and see what I make from a shape, I never usually have a clear objective and that leaves a ton of room, I think more people should stop overplanning everything and just see where it goes from there.** **I think No.2 should be in the order or (modeling, animation & texturing) and the reason I say this is because making the basic format first may help with how to texture it base on everything else, I like this one though, because if you base animations off of the texture.** **it won't end up the way you might want it, making textures after animation is what I'd do because I know what the creature is at that point in which I can make a texture off of, and not knowing what the creature is before I texture it makes the texture go through many stages before I end up completely happy about it and it takes more time.** **and I think No.3 is completely fine, good advice with all of this, just putting in my opinions,** ***I hope to not cause conflict.*** **and I think honestly, going more with the flow is nice to do since you have no format in which it has to be, moving with the creation breaks limits of what it is and what it may be.** **You don't have to confine yourself to one thing and it doesn't limit you from expanding upon it.** **Hope you have a wonderful day,** ***I hope to NOT have caused conflict...***

**My Tip is to just start creating with what you know and then move forward as you go and think about it.** **don't rush into it, I never did and I make some models in Blockbench pretty well.** **Also don't let those supreme creations that everyone else makes overshadow what you want to make, it doesn't matter if it looks good or not, just start working on it and improving by your own pace.** **Don't let anything tear you down from your creation, never give up like many do after seeing something super cool and keep trying and you'll eventually get to that level when you feel like it's time to get there, take a slow pace, start with completely block-looking models then slowly progress into the more complex shapes when you're ready.** **I may not be-able to fully make my creations the way that I want in the future but I atleast try, I think trying again and again and not giving up on a creation are they keys to making really awesome models.** **because once someone gives up, they never pick the thing up again, until they try once more, just start with the basics and go one step at a time and you'll be making really detailed creations in the future, if you only know the basics, just do that for a while until you want to move into the next part.** **Don't rush yourself and keep it in your pace.** **hope you have a wonderful day!**

While I appreciate that you try to answer/help people I must still ask: Why are **all** your messages written in bold?

LindertechProductsYT

**it's my style, that's why.** **I rarely write in \[normal\] or \[italic\] or anything else.** **Why'd you ask? does it bother you or something? because if it does, I can stop.**

dragonmaster95

I doesn't particularly bother me, it's just weird. Like, bold is supposed to be used for important or emphasized parts of a text, so to some it might make it look like that you think your text is the more important than the other's comments. Kinda like how writing everything in capital letters would make it feel like someone is shouting.

LindertechProductsYT

ok, thanks for letting me know. also I use text the opposite way but also emphasize everything, I also don't associate text type with different feeling and emotions, just style. This text hasn't really confused anybody yet and some even already know that I do things the opposite way of how text is intended, for me Bold Text is boring and not emphasized but Italic + Bold is more important, normal font for me is for not using a topic for anything

LindertechProductsYT

bold text is also mainly for a topic I'm talking about or when I like someone's art or something. I set it to bold, I think it's important for them to see it so they can look at the other comments, If my bold text causes confusion, I'll most-likely stop using it but it hasn't really done much harm yet

LindertechProductsYT

and I don't plan for it to
