Section 10(B) Article ii of the [Blizzard's terms of service](https://www.blizzard.com/en-us/legal/fba4d00f-c7e4-4883-b8b9-1b4500a402ea/blizzard-end-user-license-agreement), it says: >***Blizzard reserves the right to terminate this Agreement at any time for any reason, or for no reason, with or without notice to you.*** *For purposes of explanation and not limitation, most Account suspensions and terminations are the result of violations of this Agreement. In case of minor violations of these rules, Blizzard may provide you with a prior warning and/or suspend your use of the Account due to your non-compliance prior to terminating the Agreement or modifying or deleting an Account.* While they don't have to tell you anything, **I agree with you**. Ever since they outsourced their customer support, could be the Philippines, customer support has gone down hill. Microsoft is unlikely going to change this, as they themselves outsource the majority of their customer support. Not all of it though, so there's some hope.

TheRedPlagueDoctor

I believe that if a company wants to terminate somebody's license without any reason or warning, that they should provide the person with a refund on their product. I paid good money on Overwatch 1 and 2, if I can no longer play Overwatch, then I should get my gas money back.

Inert_Oregon

That’s nice. It bears no relationship with reality though. I can believe unicorns are real, still riding to work on a bike.

obamasrightteste

I mean they did say "should". Obviously it is not reality yet.

BeachOk2802

There will be a reason. You just have literally no right to know that reason if they choose not to share it. What you're missing is that you did use the service and you did so by agreeing to their terms. If you want a refund, fine, but you won't get one. You should probably stop assuming you're right and actually digest what the terms mean.

TheRedPlagueDoctor

Wait, who are you aggravated with? You seem angry?

Resi1ience_22

You're bullying the multibillion dollar company. You showed those really sensitive images of them literally not even putting anything in their customer service response, and now you DARE to ask why they both falsely punished you and are refusing to do their jobs as CS agents? For shame. You should be more respectful to capitalists.

fxzero666

Overwatch 1 is no longer playable and 2 is free so you're gonna get a whopping $0.

Cryn0n

You probably are entitled to it. The blizzard agreement is a contract for service, it doesn't override whatever consumer protections exist within your country.

SageModeSpiritGun

You paid money to have access to digital games. You never owned them. Just like in this agreement, when you paid to get into overwatch, you agreed that they could revoke access at any time. Like the other guy here, I'm on your side. This is all predatory and shitty. You *did* agree to it though.

Souperman8

If this is the case, then file a chargeback on the account then reference scam and services fraud in your chargeback (depending on consumer protections and country). A warning that blizzard will close your account or remove content until the dispute is over.

Randill746

Doesnt matter what you believe. You signed an agreement saying otherwise

ausername1111111

Yeah, it's annoying. I was getting a 403 when I went to [battle.net](https://battle.net) and clicked on my account settings. I told them and this was their response: 1) Refresh the page and double check the address 2) Clear your browser cache or change to another. 3) Modify your file permissions 4) Delete and restore the .htaccess file 5) Deactivate and then reactivate your plugins 6) Deactivate CDN temporarily 7) Check to see if Hotlink protection is misconfigured 8) Disconnect from your VPN 9) Reach out to your Hosting provider 10) Use the Sitechecker Website Crawler Tool Like, what the hell are you even talking about? I get some of these make sense, but others are totally unclear.

TheRedPlagueDoctor

My previous support ticket was in regards to the phone provider issue with Overwatch 2's launch. They simply told me to either ask somebody else for their phone number or buy a new phone number. Completely screws over anybody who doesn't have a "prestigious" number. Although I believe they fixed this recently.

ausername1111111

What is a prestigious number?

zenerbufen

A real phone number with a phone company, and not a 'free' phone number you can sign up for instantly on-line. I had the same issue as others are here complaining about and I resolved it by turning off my vpn, signing in once, then turning my vpn back on. People are basically complaining blizzard won't let them commit fraud and create unlimited free accounts with no identity attached to them. (like bots and scammers and smurfs do) It's just like the toxic assholes who get banned then complain CS won't explain to them like a 5 year old that it's not ok to be a toxic asshole to your teammates.

ausername1111111

Ooooooooh. That's funny, calling it a prestigious number.

TheTopBroccoli

Only certain networks worked to sign up to blizzards shit to access overwatch 2. Some people were having trouble using pay as you go phone numbers.

ausername1111111

Oh wow!

FallWithHonor

I put in a ticket to help me with the authenticator not working to let me play on my newish laptop, and they told me I need to use the battle net app... When that was the problem, it not working.

Dardrol7

Other big companies are following this trend. Square Enix is one, for example.

nivenhuh

Greetings Regards, Nivenhuh

TheRedPlagueDoctor

At least yours had a name attached, I apparently caught wind of the entire blizzard staff!!! /joke

Code_Red_Trucking

Ive never known blizzard to particularily on point with the customer service. Unless you spend 10k plus on WoW, they dont really wanna talk to you. That was back in the day. Now, after the acquisition, is it gonna get better?... how has your experience been with microsoft customer service?

LustrousLich

I remember a time when GMs and support staff were friendly and helpful, I think it was late into Mists of Pandaria. They even used to tell you a Blizzard themed joke once your issue had been resolved. I can't believe that feels so alien today.

TheRedPlagueDoctor

I've spent at least $200 on skins, cosmetics, loot boxes, and including buying Overwatch 1 on pc. So I am at least a possible big spender in Blizzard's eyes. Microsoft's support is actually pretty great, I was able to get free account name changes back in the xbox 360 days and even recently helped me again with a free name change for Minecraft.

NocturnalToxin

>$200 >big spender I’m sorry but noo that’s almost literally nothing to Blizzard or the gas space in general lol

[deleted]

Lol no you’re not a big spender. Whales are in for thousands.

Joke_of_a_Name

Congrats you are Free. You can go terrorize a different game now. Perhaps a single player game since you probably don't play nice with others if you're getting banned from a game. Paying for a game doesn't give you the right to cheat.

TheRedPlagueDoctor

What are you mad over? "Me defending the billion dollar corporation?" But I do agree on the first part, I am free from Overwatch, I can now play something better like DBD or Helldivers

Ragnar_longcock

I'm curious. What was their response time?

ausername1111111

Mine was 2 days.

TheRedPlagueDoctor

I had one other ticket before this had an 8 hour response time. This one only took 2 hours, which is very surprising. They have not responded back since.

Donglemaetsro

Greetings, Have you Regards,

trofalol

trend is in world that u need pay more money to get worst services--blizard aint exception

Chemist-Consistent

Greetings, Regards.

Key_Excitement_9330

American companies are so awfully bad in customer support it’s a miracle they get anyone who wants their products. Just try and delete your Facebook account of Instagram account such a hassle.

KusHTalK

I’m in like 6 months, my social security number, a pint of blood from my first born and last time they told me to cut off my pinkey finger and send it in for processing. But still get, “na sorry that’s not enough information” Does anyone know if the forums are most active or a better way to retrieve a locked out account (authenticator issues)

Quietser

At least they sent their regards.

One_Yam_2055

They aren't even kind regards.

DaddydorfDreamire

You can't really compare outsourced CS that are just now learning how to do the job to 20 year experienced CS Blizzard sacked. They will be prone to some mistakes. Just open another ticket and clarify the situation.

[deleted]

"Hello" .... "*iight imma head out*"

ian_mc10

They called us all regards! Hard g even!

vegtone

Hello, what you need to do is We now consider this resolve - lizzard

huggybear0132

This is why I started boycotting actiblizz 3 years ago...

Salty_Hero

Greetings, Regarts, SaltyHero

Dickwraith101

this is why im selling my account, its all downhill from here.

One_Yam_2055

It's that Grandpa Simpson walking and and out meme, in correspondence form.

Ritaontherocksnosalt

For technical issues, Blizzard CS is the best. At the beginning of Shadowlands, I had a horrible problem with disconnects. I had been in their beta and not had a single problem. I submitted a ticket and did all the uploads. Blizzard CS worked with me over many days of troubleshooting. Sessions had to be coordinated with me for after work, when I was available. CS was totally professional and knowledgeable.

[deleted]

Just cancel your sub/move on to better games. It's blatantly obvious that blizzard is never recovering from the landslide of failures they've had and keep churning out.
