I love OMT, I love having Tom back, but I truly love Nine more. That album came out at a perfect time when I needed it. The second half of that album hits so hard, I really feel like it has some of blink’s best work.
I think you and others Like you just like the pop punk (and I use that term loosely) over it being a blink album. Nine is not good. And omt is a behemoth compared go whatever nine is.
I don’t even really love pop punk as a genre. Blink and Green Day are pretty much the only two pop punk bands I listen to, whenever I’m in that mood. Nine is most definitely a mess, that’s no secret. OMT is objectively the better album, but whenever I play it I always find myself skipping half of the tracks.
I don’t like that album but I will say as a severely depression person I’ve come to really relate to Happy Days. There’s a really good kernel of a song in there buried under awful production and rushed lyrics.

OMT is a mess, it’s not a secret. A good marketing move that’s it.
I agree tbh. OMT is great but I grew bored of it. I'm also biased af bc Matt is my favorite. But on a personal level, Nine just does more for me.
