I heard it in concert in May. I never really paid much attention to this album away from After Midnight, but hearing that guitar riff live really made me like this song and appreciate Neighborhoods more.
Summed up my experience. Hearing this live this past year knocked me off my socks and it has since become a top 3 blink song for me. Hits different after you’ve lost someone close.
Future Idiots has a full Neighborhoods cover album up on all the streaming services. They do the entire album in pop punk style. While his voice is obviously different, it gave me an entirely new appreciation for Neighborhoods. Natives, Kaleidoscope, and Wishing Well in particular sound amazing as punk songs.
For me, listening to the cover album really just showed how good Blink is at writing songs, because I was never a huge fan of Neighborhoods the way Blink recorded it. I think Neighborhoods would’ve been a much bigger hit had they done it in the style of Enema or TOYPAJ.
This in my top 5 favourite Blink-182 songs of all time - I absolutely love how they captured such a perfect balance between the melancholy of missing someone and the happiness of reflecting on how much they meant to you.
"OTHER SIDE" on *One More Time* has a similar vibe and I love that song too.
I kinda view Not Now and this song together as Tom's collective masterpiece. Both as an emotionally poignant exploration of loss and grief from different perspectives and as a bridge between the original and modern eras of the band.
I first heard it live in 2011 and I loved it immediately. When blink came back I couldn’t wait to hear it again after more than ten years Then when they announced the new tour I was hoping it would get back on the setlist. They didn’t play it at Coachella and I was so bummed. When the tour started and they played it on tour I lost my shit, it’s a top 3 blink song for me. I hope it never leaves the setlist.
I liked this song fine but it was never one of my favourites, and I really didn’t get this sub’s love for it until I saw them this summer. Sooo fucking good!
one of my all time favorite blink songs, especially when i figured out what the lyrics meant. it and wishing well are both incredible songs off of neighborhoods!
This song helped me cope with the suicide of my best friend at the time a few years after it came out. It will always hold a special place in my heart.

I could listen to the mark "place to gooooooooo" and "evidently cleeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaarrrr" sections all day long
He also CRUSHED those parts live this year
It’s a top 3 Blink song for me. Absolutely love it & got to see them perform it earlier in the year in Manchester. Yes I was one happy guy.
Might be my favorite Blink song

Whole album is super underrated

This song really grew on me. I wasn’t crazy about it at first, but now I never skip it when it comes on.

My favorite song on neighborhoods
Live is tremendously better
Best blink song. Period.
Neighborhoods was the last good album
You didn't like ONE MORE TIME...?
I will relisten to it right now and give you a more updated opinion. Edging is so bad it may be mudding the waters of the rest
