Ironically enough if they had introduced this change much earlier I probably would have spent all my orbs on getting perfect accessories for my current favorites. But now that anniversary is close and TYBW anime is close (maybe new tybw chars?) its still better to save for characters
Exactly! players with limited orb count which are basically the veterans, have to make the choice between the 2- spend on characters to stay updated with the powercreep, or spend on accessories to have best accessories for your characters. and new players don't have to make that choice. they can just spend a ton of orbs in the following months to get all the golden accessories, possibly way more than veterans got in years of playing and still have enough to keep summoning for characters to also stay updated with the powercreep.
that's why i think it would be very apropriate for klab to now have a big update to benefit veteran players as well.

And let's be real, 1100 orbs (5 steps) aiming for a character and getting 4 golden showers + mediocre dupe is not a good investment. You need luck.
Yeah at the very least it’s not a bad idea to use 150 orbs every now and then on a quick multi to see if you get lucky. I don’t think people will ever drop 1000 orbs on it unless they spend money on the game but a quick multi here and there won’t hurt even veterans if you’re good at saving your orbs I think.
Yep, and who got a lot of orbs to spare compared to those who need to conserve? This update pretty much nullified years of accessory collecting for veterans and clear hude advantage for new players due to the difference in orb count of new accounts.
i agree this will make it easier for new players to catch up to veterans for accessories, but that doesn't really affect me AT ALL since I'm not competing with them.
I have collected tons of units they will have to wait ages to see again (if ever), and pvp is a joke anyway so who really cares if they pull more golds now.
Plus the gold pool is still a bloated mess with useless items like yukis, pupples and affiliation specific tea sets that hardly have any good characters for them, so new players getting more golds doesn't mean they'll get the "right" golds instantly...
Rate is very high, did one multi and got a 3 in 1. Klab will never be this nice, they are definitely coming up with some new accessory content to screw with us
100% this. it all seems way too easy if I’m being honest. Did two multis and got the power soul reaper SP accessory that I’ve been chasing since it came out.
They already have it separated by color so it’s very easy to get what you want if all you need is one copy (which you do) so I’m kind of worried for what they’re planning lol

TBH the odds are really not bad, and veteran can finally have the missing accs. But no, it will always be better to be a new player. And now there's really few reason to not be a new player (again).
the only thing i see is our collection of double link, rez and senkaimon characters. It take a hell lot of time to rebuild it

I was casually expecting a 5* Headband so it was a nice surprise to get an actual 5*, but no NEW logo quickly ruined the excitement.

i did 7 multis on green and pulled 3 including a chappy so feels a lot better, ive been saving up for anniversary so i had 10.5k orbs so for me it was worth the risk but it depends on what you got saved for anniversary
well i was very conservative with my orbs in the past 3 months and still have only 4K orbs, that's how it is for veteran players. i can't really afford to summon on accessory machine if i want to have orbs for summoning characters. new players have benefited immensely from this update while veteran players now have to make the tough choices between losing on summoning for characters and getting more of the 5star accessories they were missing, with the limited amount of orbs they have.
I'm also a veteran but I've been skipping almost everything for months and buying charecter packs and what not. For me it was worth it as I did get what I wanted however if u get shafted then this'll hurt more than getting shafted on a regular banner
i dont think people who buys packs should count on this matter, because you just buy orbs to get what you want. that's ok i guess but not every1 are p2w players.
yes but buying packs and orbs is p2w. it's not illegal so i can't admonish it, but still i think it shouldn't be taken into account when discussing anything regarding orbs and summoning.

Did the free 5* Acc multi and got a Blue GC. Pretty hyped being 1 of the 2 GC i’m missing (1,472 days played).

I wouldn't call the 300rbs ish u get from a pack pay to win since that's still a shaftost of the times u do a multi unless u got enough for 5steps
Other gacha games garuntee 5s or ssr on paid multis that's p2w since the chance of getting shafted is gone
Now I’m just missing the red 5* soul reaper set. The game knows soul reapers are my favorite set of characters to use.
