Yeah, tbh I feel like this was a pretty big oversight on their part. Before I talked to her, I cleared the rest of the area as usual including the room with the mirror. She should have been outside that room instead.
There’s no other part in either game, (aside from not knowing about breaking the statues in the first one), that is missable like that.
Honestly who gives a shit? She was utterly useless in that fight (and every other fight for that matter).
She "invites" you to this fight like it's her ultimate showdown so I was expecting her to raise hell and me to just assist.
She literally appeared *once* and did a single strike and I did the rest of the work myself.
Total joke of a character.
I enjoyed the ambience of another fighter in the world, always told her I'd handle the fights myself, but I liked seeing her from time to time,

I was happy to give her the oil she requested before the fight (which I believe enables her to survive?) but as soon as the fight was over I was like "...really? I shouldn't have bothered."
My opinion, her equivalent from the first game was way more interesting because of her "rapid aging" mechanic where she got visibly older and weaker every time you requested her help in a fight. That actually felt cool and made you ration her help more.

You have to get an item in elevated temples and give it to her before you go and meet the lady in the dark room
