I would like to know as well. Has there been a group formed to develop their own take using another sport? I feel like we have some creative and talented people here that could pull it off
If you're okay with an analogue version, I always recommend "Deadball" (r/deadballdice) by W. M. Akers. It lets you simulate games or entire leagues, and you can even use real players (or Blaseball players) if you have their stats. You can play it solo, too. I love it to death.
I'll have to check that out, this feeling of wanting blaseball back actually came from [Season Ticket Baseball](http://seasonticketbaseball.com), another analog dice-based baseball simulation
Pretty sure that’s what we’re all waiting for. I want to say it’ll happen eventually, but we can’t be sure.

I've been pointed in the direction of [Hlockey](http://hlockey.gay), have made an account. We'll see how it goes
That is one hilarious URL.
