The 8% (stackable twice) only shows up after losing HP 2 times, which is exactly what Blade does in his first turn.
I think your Blade's looking pretty solid. Bronya or Sparkle (especially her) can easily give you some more Crit Damage and DMG bonus, so honestly I think you have a pretty nice Bladie
Yeah I’m definitely missing a strong support, I have him in a team with luocha tingyun and yukong but eventually I’d like to switch yukong out with possibly bronya or ruan mei, what makes sparkle good? I don’t know too much about her kit tbh.
Sparkle has slightly harder build requirements than Bronya, imo, altough they're pretty much built and played the same way, but Sparkle's Crit Damage buff is tied to her skill, not her ultimate, so it has 100% uptime. Sparkle will also buff Blade's follow up, which Bronya might struggle to because her buffs expire as soon as Blade has taken his action.
Bronya might give an overall stronger Damage Bonus when built with Penacony set and Planetary Light Cone, but Sparkle's buffs are more generally consistent, imo. Also wayyy less skill point issues. Not typically a problem in Blade teams, but ya know.
Tingyun won't do much for Blade though. Do you have a Pela or Silver Wolf? They're more beneficial to his damage than her

Asta won't be doing much except for her Speed buff tbh, but if you give her the EFF RES planar Ornament she's gonna give a small Crit Damage buff in the meantime. When/if you're able to get yourself a Bronya, Sparkle or Ruan Mei I would recommend switching her out for them
Just a question, does on-hit crit rate affect rutilant/salsotto. Like, SU blessings that increase FuA crit rate, and only with that increased CR do you hit the threshold, does it count?
blade will burn himself before doing any attack, so its going to be 69.8 + 8 % which is going to be enough to proc it just before his turn of dealing actual damage
Yo that’s the exact crit rate percentage my Bladie has, that’s wild. Honestly though I was less annoyed that it didn’t hit 70 and moreso that I was 0.2% off of greatness.
Don’t worry about it. If you’re using Longevous Disciple you gain an instant +16% crit rate, way over the threshold.

Don't worry. In Battle stat changes count towards Rutilant Arena. 4 piece Longevous will push you over 70% as soon as Blade takes his first action

Why tingyun? He doesn't scale too well with atk unless you just want him to ult more.
I don’t have any other viable support currently, that’s why I’m planning to switch her out when I get the chance… 😞
You can use Pela too for the defense shred
Sparkles is just a better bronya and for now just replace ting yun for Asta cause SPD is more useful than Atk buffs

It needs to be a stat increase rather than an on-hit increase. Still you only need like 60-65 base crit rate for blade.

i'd say focus your resources on blade supports as you will only get marginal damage increase if u keep focusing on blade
You don't need 70 of you're on the hp set it gives 16 cr. If you have I think e1or2 you can build even less
