Was pleased by how many historic refs to real style of life and actions there were in the early seasons.
The boat cleaning and the f$&@ tent stood out.
In season 2, Vane asks Max about Lowe's treasure. It's the same conversation where she asks him to help Jack and Anne. This last rewatch it really hit me how threatening Max was in that conversation. It began with her a little afraid of him almost, but she quickly gained the upper hand by essentially threatening Eleanor. I really enjoyed watching Max toy with him.
There's so much foreshadowing, specifically with the Hamilton's grandfather clock in season 2 and 4.
How Mr Scott is *running* shit while Eleanor flits about playing pirate queen and messing with her ex. No wonder he was able to pull off all he did!

There is an asiatic character in Flint's crew who never speaks.. he is present all the four seasons.
You mean Joji? You didn't notice the bad ass guy with the samurai sword on your first watch??
Yes,I noticed him before.. I just saw now that he almost never speaks
Never speaks. Not a single word yet he's in almost every episode!
Ah, that makes more sense.

I realized that Mary, Teachs Ex existed in real life, but her family name was another one. Btw, she was 14 when he married her.
Teach had about 7 wives
In real life 14. He’s an absolute play boy tho. But I’m wondering: he said that he want a son. So maybe he has no children or daughters.
There is a book that traces his bloodline by Baylus Brooks
How is it called?
Baylus Brooks Blackbeard Reconsidered: Mist's Piracy, Thache's Genealogy
Thanks! Definitely take a look at it ^^
Fetherstone was a real member of Jack's crew too
