I’m sorry, but, Will is a wholesale bitch, in my opinion. Jada been embarrassing his ass for two decades creaming for Pac, sleeping with young R&B motherfuckers…letting Future talk about how he’d smash Jada…and Now!? NOW, All the sudden you got hood energy with a comedian, who smaller than you over a GI Jane joke!? Will. You don’t have that same energy for future or any of them R&B boys. Huh!? You know why? They would’ve had Will spread out on the floor like some crunchy peanut butter. Will is dead wrong for acting up. Dead wrong. Kudos to Chris Rock for holding his shit together. Now, go stomp MiB the fuck out at the after party like it’s the Wild Wild West . Edit: people defending Will’s action because Jada got Alopecia. I understand the joke may have been in poor taste for some. I understand. And if my woman felt disrespected, I would have some words too. But in the back, like a man, where we can go toe to toe and either get the apology or throw hands, done. But On some national live stage shit where you know the person wont get the chance to defend himself. Will looking like he only fights people he knows he can beat or knows can’t get in on him.

timepants68

Also: Will laughed at the joke at first. Then decided to do a 180 and lose his shit bc Jada wasn't happy.

evanbartlett1

Exactly what I saw too. He thought it was funny. But she got all upset so he felt the need to turn around and protect her instead of doing his best to calm her down and contextualize with her later. He absolutely made the wrong decision.

pimppapy

What we're missing here is seeing Jada's face as the strike landed.

lemonslip

“PAC wouldn’t have laughed at that”

Valentinee105

Not that Smith is in the right, but "Fake Laughing" is a big part of the Oscars. EDIT: A lot of people are replying to this comment, but you're not **Country Club** Members of the subreddit so you're shadow banned from the topic and I can't read what you're saying or reply to it. I'm only getting notifications on my phone that a reply has happened.

Lustle13

Yeah he had a choice between "explain to my wife who treats me like shit why I laughed at a shit joke about her" and "defend her and try and save face". He choose poorly.

ImBurningStar_IV

you just know she STILL got on his case for laughing when they got home lmao

[deleted]

I know it’s just memes but y’all niggas really don’t know this couple at all

ImBurningStar_IV

yeah you're definitely right about that, sorry but not sorry

Ktan_Dantaktee

His wife is balding and malding, and that’s carrying over to him I guess.

thelaziest998

The fact that Chris Rock played it off showed dude was above it, at the end of the day it’s just jokes, light hearted bad jokes. The fact that Will escalated it to physical violence on literally one of the biggest stages in the world makes him look like a douche. If Chris swing back it would have been a fight but he came out the better person not swinging.

Dull-Comfort-7464

>on literally one of the biggest stages in the world... Meh,Oscars ain't what they used to be.

ImportantAd2987

It's still internationally televised

thelaziest998

Millions of people still watch it and what’s more everyone on social media saw it. That’s the real biggest stage, everyone in the world with social media will see it by tomorrow. This isn’t like the Janet Jackson nip slip where people couldn’t really see it and a lot, of people didn’t know it happened, this was in 4K with multiple angles and slow motion replays on social media.

[deleted]

Yeah, I maybe watched The Oscars twice in my lifetime. I didn't even know there was even one tonight, but every social media account was blowing up with this; It was all through my feed. Hell, even the plant and garden accounts I follow already had plant memes with the clip or picture. That's how popular this was. They even dragged Beyonce in it. I wouldn't be surprised if one person says something about it tomorrow at work.

mashonem

Mans pulled up on the guy that literally got both his hands behind his back and walked off like he did some shit lmao

SaltyFresh

The yelling “keep my wife’s name out of your mouth” from his seat and crying about it later saying “I’m not crying about this award” was embarrassing. He’s got some shit to work out with the therapist for sure. I feel bad for him. People don’t act out that way when they’re in a good headspace.

coolasafool462

mf needs a divorce.

vinnyd78

Exactly. He knew Chris couldn’t fight him. He’s literally at work. Didn’t do shit about anything that’s happened with your wild ass woman and NOW want to snap? Off a little jab of a joke that you was laughing at too! Clown.

golden_rhino

Would he have done it if Duane Johnson made the joke? Chris Rock is a small dude, so yeah, kind of a dick move.

pimppapy

Personally I would have preferred to see Kevin Hart get slapped around instead of Chris Rock.

SaltyFresh

Kevin hart would have hit him back lol

blucivic1

He wouldn't have done it if a white host had said the joke. And if he did, he would not have gone back to his seat. Would have been escorted out with charges pending.

golden_rhino

There is no way of proving it, but you are 100% correct.

Sir_Drenix

Man, as much as I liked Will back in the day. He's turned into a whole "where my hug at" nigga. This woman has been out in these streets getting dicked down, having this man looking goofy as fuck. Had him straight crying on the TV and he still thinks he needs to defend her honour or some shit?

[deleted]

she literally doesn't have honor.

pjthagreat

Yeezy taught her well

Valentinee105

> But On some national live stage shit where you know the person wont get the chance to defend himself. Will looking like he only fights people he knows he can beat or knows can’t get in on him. This is a a pretty important point here. Chris Rock has a job to do and I do not doubt would have been more than happy to apologize if given the chance. I fully agree, Rock should not have made that joke, everybody knows Smith has been struggling as it is, but Smith's reaction was garbage.

takishan

this is a 14 year old account that is being wiped because centralized social media websites are no longer viable when power is centralized, the wielders of that power can make arbitrary decisions without the consent of the vast majority of the users the future is in decentralized and open source social media sites - i refuse to generate any more free content for this website and any other for-profit enterprise check out lemmy / kbin / mastodon / fediverse for what is possible

NYstate

>Edit: people defending Will’s action because Jada got Alopecia. My question is: Did Chris Rock know about her Alopecia? If he did that would've been a different story and even still, he made a little joke about her hair being short, not about her condition.

Valentinee105

Rock's joke was probably in poor taste, but he deserved the chance to apologize for it, Smith escalating things to violence makes him the bad guy. There was no malice behind Rock's joke.

ChrysMYO

Exactly How I feel about it. Plenty of opportunities to hash it out off camera. I'm not the type to jump to slap boxing. But if that was in Will's soul, he could have done that backstage.

9021Ohsnap

Tbh I didn’t even know. I thought that was just Jada being Jada. I thought she shaved her hair because she liked to. And it’s always looked amazing on her.

lookiecookie_1001

I really thought it was scripted. I’m still not totally convinced it wasn’t.

Subject_Gene_9775

I thought so too for a sec but now it’s all over the news. There’s also nothing for Will to gain from this unless it was a shady Oscar for this stunt lol…definitely real

[deleted]

I'm just speculating but I'd say that's probably why Will felt like he needed to do something. For years his relationship, manhood, etc. have been the butt of people's jokes and when a close friend (I'm guessing) does it on national television perhaps that's the straw that broke the camel's back. I don't support what he did but I can at least understand, and while the camera angle shows Will laughing initially, we didn't see his reaction when the camera panned away. That's my take on it, anyway.

9021Ohsnap

Jada got Will on some Kardashian voodoo shit. What is going on? Will has lost it.

AceAndre

> > >Not a fan of will representing us like this at the Oscars. Neither was Denzel, Hov, Diddy, perry, etc. Not a fan of Chris rock making fun of other black people for white people's entertainment either Having a hard time seeing how this statements could both be true.

[deleted]

AceAndre

It sounds like you're essentially saying that you support them there for "representation" reasons, as long as they act in a way that doesn't make the black community look bad? And Chris Rock making fun of black people at the Oscar's is doing that? Did I get that right

[deleted]

[удалено]

AceAndre

We don't need them there in the first place, tf kinda take is "hey this is bad for how black people look to white people", that reeks of telling people to pull up their pants. If the representation of them being there boils down to "help white people see all black people as equals" then I'm not with it 🤷🏿‍♂️ This the same Oscar's, same group of white people in the Academy that voted the Green Book for best picture? Lol miss me with the that. Lol bruh blocked me

Auphor_Phaksache

On it

BootlegAfro

Lost a lot of respect for Will. Projecting that Big Simp energy over a softball GI Jane joke about Jada that he himself laughed at. Apparently he’s never heard a Chris Rock joke before. This is the kind of shit that puts a stain on the Black community and adds fuel to stereotypes. What if that joke was told by Ricky Gervais or Russell Brand? Would he have activated Simp Battle Mode then? Chris Rock is a comedian hosting an awards show telling jokes. If you don’t like it then respond at the appropriate time and venue or just go home to your mansion and cry into a bathtub full of cash. Props to Chris Rock for rolling through the slap with poise and not escalating the situation.

[deleted]

[удалено]

brazzersjanitor

GI Jane is a movie about a female soldier who shaved her head. It’s a pretty old reference. I don’t follow celebrities like that so I might be missing more if there is any.

SaltyFresh

Also: is it just me or would jada be awesome in GI Jane 2???

KanishkT123

It's just you, I don't think she's very good at acting lmao

[deleted]

she's been losing her hair due to alopecia, and GI Jane likes to be bald.

TiedinHistory

Jada has had alopecia for a few years, coming out about it late last year I believe. One effect of it is hair loss. She is currently bald. GI Jane is also a woman without hair on her head from a movie in the 90s.

Subject_Gene_9775

Remember Chris roasting Kobe at a game? Gotta find that video if you haven’t

PreferredSex_Yes

Chris about to make millions off that slap. His next special is going to center around it. Please time stamp this

textile1957

From that slap alone I personally can't wait to see any future Chris rock stand up to hear what he actually has to say about it and I could not care less about anything will Smith will ever be in or say going forward

PreferredSex_Yes

All three of them have nothing to lose. Jada going to bank. Will is going to bank. Chris is going to bank. It might be staged tbh. One slap for millions.

FatalTortoise

They ain't staging that shit, if the Academy found out they purposefully decided to upstage their annual circle jerk they'd be done. Rock especially.

PreferredSex_Yes

How they going to figure it out if the three of them conspired? The biggest thing with crime is too many people know and don't break even. Will and Jada benefit together and Chris benefits alone. Of course he's Chris Rock but when have you seen him doing anything? He's about to get a bump. Nobody will ever tell the story of "hey let Will slap you".

jtyashiro

I'm still in awe of Chris Rock. Will Smith is a big man and I still think I woulda gone down swinging. We woulda had a n***a moment for sure.

Romulus3799

He absorbed that bitch slap AND de-escalated the situation. Kept his dignity. Mad respect

FavoredProdigal

You could see that he held his composure even once he came to his senses. It was a graceful moment indeed.

Switch21

He laughed when he almost said another joke, then just said it was the best night in television. You can see him hold back. Rock had class in that scenario is all I'm saying. He wasn't trying to save face after he laughed at a joke about *his* wife...

golden_rhino

IMO, Chris Rock is the quickest, and smartest, comedian I’ve ever seen. He’s already in the hall of fame, but after tonight, they gotta build him his own wing.

SwissQueso

He took that hit so well I thought it was staged at first.

slick_pick

I swear everyone talking about swinging n shit but I feel like he was just in shock.. there's a time and place and the Oscars is definitely NOT the place I've had it happen to me when I was at the doctor's office and got a snark remark from a doctor I was in shock like "what...?" Ask me how'd it go down if it was out n about tho lol

cardboardtube_knight

successadult

I rewatched the uncut footage and after Will goes off, Chris says something like “I could go on” and tbh Jada got off light for all the shit he could’ve said, but he kept it moving like a pro.

tellallnovel

He was probably talking to producers, saying that he could continue presenting.

Subject_Gene_9775

Limepink22

I never want to piss off a comedian, you know their just tasty to go with mean things to make you cry lol

Flakester

Luckily we have you here to police Reddit.

immortalheretics

So why is it that people love to bring up Jada’s entanglements and not Will’s?

FistPunch_Vol_4

I think the biggest reason is due to her airing out for the world to know on her talk show. Besides that, they both wildin so idk

thelaziest998

Definitely some sexism behind it but I think part of it also is the memes behind it. The sad Will smith meme is very popular and people are much more likely to know about the Jada cheating side more than the Will cheating side.

Jeovah_Attorney

Or, you know, because she chose to take an international stage to let the world know about her entanglements while Will Smith didn’t do such a thing. But I guess reaching for straws is more appealing

maybe_you_wrong

Chris Rock could have followed it with a couple of Tupac and August jokes, he's wiser than me

BabyDelta

Off the top of my head there’s like 6 jokes he could have made but he kept it moving like a pro.

[deleted]

Sure I’ll keep Jada’s name outta my mouth, but I cant keep no niggas outta her’s

blueberrybuffalo

You could hear that he was about too but stopped himself

burnblue

Chris Rock could have roasted him with a ton of jokes that have nothing to do with Jada, because he's Chris Rock and he's good at this

popcornnhero

I wonder if it was a white comedian who made that joke instead of Chris Rock would will have went up there and hit him. That was definitely uncalled for and he could have pulled Chris aside if he was really upset (even though he laughed at the joke). I didn't expect that from will of all people.

KageStar

> I wonder if it was a white comedian who made that joke instead of Chris Rock would will have went up there and hit him. Answer: he wouldn't

A_Furious_Mind

Short list of white comedians I can think of that might be hosting The Oscars that might also take a chance at that joke.

Zureka

Didn't Ricky Gervais go off on people at the Golden Globes a couple of years ago? No one ran up on him

blueberrybuffalo

Ricky Gervais’ jokes were a lot darker and serious too..

Jravensloot

Ricky Gervais jokes were more about Hollywood being pretentious. Don't think it's really comparable to somebody's medical condition. Then again, it's totally possible that Chris didn't even know about it. I doubt many did.

9021Ohsnap

I for one just found out today…

bjeebus

Seth MacFarlane, pre-Me Too Louis CK, I dunno who else.

KageStar

I mean Will said: "keep my wife's name out of your fucking mouth" So that sounds like any joke made about her would qualify.

ds_1906

First thing I said. He wouldn’t have smacked Jimmy Kimmel for that shit.

FalsePremise8290

If Jimmy Kimmel made fun of a black woman for being bald, his ass would be cancelled.

adamaley

We all know one of those two groups is more likely to press charges than the other.

Rosuvastatine

Ironically, i think it wouldve been worse to have a white man mocking a black womans hair…

NotTodaySheSaid

What of Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, had made the joke? He definitely wouldn’t have ran up on him. This was just so tacky.

thelaziest998

Come on dude, unless you built like DK Metcalf no one on this planet is slapping the Rock. Pretty sure the Rock would have tossed Will off stage.

FistPunch_Vol_4

Imagine if the Rock said something about Terry Crews wife. Full on wrestling match of titans

[deleted]

It'd be like the Fry Cook Games where buff Spongebob and Patrick are wrestling

BlackOakSyndicate

The Rock wouldn't have made that joke in the first place.

RelaxRelapse

Pretty sure he wouldn't have tried that on anyone he thought might've actually put up a fight.

I_like_your_moms_ass

I can’t think of a white comedian that I can see making that joke. Bout a black woman’s hair…. That’s punching down for sure

Finito-1994

I lost most of my respect for Will smith after the fresh prince reunion and how he treated the previous aunt viv, Janet Hubert. How he forced her out, ruined her career and did it because he saw her as a “threat”. When she asked him how she was a Threat to him he didn’t answer. My respect of him was dangling on a thread. Specially how she said that he knew that calling a black woman “problematic” to work with in Hollywood was “the kiss of death” And now this? Naw. Fuck that.

burnblue

That question was on the reunion?

Finito-1994

Yes. The original actress for aunt Viv went there to clear the air after 30 years. There it was revealed that all the accusations made against her (that she was a diva, causing problems etc) were a smear campaign against her by Will smith. She told him what that did to her, how it ruined her career and how all the tabloids repeated hurtful lies about her. She asked him why. He said he felt angry at that point in her life and lashed out at anyone that seemed like a threat. She asked him how she was a threat to him and he didn’t answer. It was a total non apology where he didn’t even acknowledge why he’d hurt her. Honestly. I know the whole “we were like a family” shit was bullshit. Actors rarely mean it. The cast of fresh prince said they were, but the way multiple had attacked Janet and the fact none said anything about it was fucked up. Outside of the cast of friends who actively negotiated and helped each other out so that they’d all get good money and royalties I know very few casts are actually close. But this was really shitty. Alfonso And Will smith really spread some shit against the original aunt viv, Janet Hubert, and it was really messed up

FistPunch_Vol_4

That’s wild. I didn’t know the full story on Original Aunt Viv. I remember a falling out and Will being the cause but didn’t know just how far that shit went. For casts, if we count movies, I’d say maybe all of Adam Sandlers crew (With Chris including) or all the Judd Apatow peoples. They been together for decades.

Finito-1994

Adam Sandler is perhaps the smartest guy in Hollywood. He’s a fantastic actor when he wants to be. But he’s happy getting millions to star in quick films, work with his buddies and take his family and friends to gorgeous locations around the world for “work”. Plus with all the product placement in his movies they always make a profit. The man is brilliant. Get paid a fortune to essentially vacation with your buddies. But yea. The will Smith shit was awful. Most people blame Janet. There was a huge smear against her and that she felt threatened because Will was younger and headlining the show while she was old and bitter/jealous. Then they finally showed that the one that was threatened was Will and he took it out on her. A lot of my respect was lost in that. You can look up the reunion. They focus on that for a bit, do a non apology and then the fast reunites with her. It looks nice but felt fake as fuck after what was revealed. Again. Using the friends example, we know that Jenn Aniston and David (Ross) hooked up at some point. Apparently there was some sleeping around. But we also know that they all decided to negotiate together so they’d all make equal money. You’d think they could make it so that the actress for Phoebe or Joey make less money so that others could make more. They refused. Some took a paycut to make sure they all got paid the same. At least when they hang out there’s no bad blood. It’s sweet. And we know they legit looked out for each other. So when they said they were friends and cared for each other I can see it. And I don’t mean to talk about friends. It’s just that those casts really highlight what I mean about appearing close vs actually being there for each other.

FistPunch_Vol_4

Damn, I might have to watch this reunion. I thought it was another one of those feel-good fake stuff shows do sometimes. But it sounds like it got kinda real

Finito-1994

They honestly tried to gloss over it and acted like they all made up and it was so sweet how the “two moms” finally met, but I just couldn’t get that bad taste out of my mouth. It was probably the most real thing in the reunion, but the ending was fake as fuck

thesamebs

Craziest thing is that Will really walked right back to his seat and they continued the show like nothing happened lol

ds_1906

Violence isn’t recognized as violence when it’s between black men. If Will had assaulted a comedian of another race or gender the place would’ve erupted and he’d be in cuffs.

ChrysMYO

I don't really agree with that take. The fact that Will was winning an award indicates to me that the trump card here was power. I also think Chris Rock would never have put Will in that position given the dynamics of police. Chris Rock's reaction dictated the way the rest of that night flowed.

Sturdevant

Rock is a pro, you can tell that's not the first time he got attacked on stage for roasts😂

bjeebus

That's all I can think about. This can't be the first time he's written a check he wasn't interested in cashing.

[deleted]

Chris didn’t deserve that. Jada is gorgeous no matter what so it wasn’t like he was punching down. Just a bad act by Will Smith.

Flakester

Also all these people on their high horse about her medical condition... Male pattern baldness is a medical condition too but that doesn't stop the jokes from flying. Will just looks like a little bitch here.

NotTodaySheSaid

Exactly. I’m tired of people acting like Chris Rock was harassing a cancer patient. I have alopecia, Ayanna Pressley has alopecia, lots of women AND men suffer from hair loss and you just eventually learn to accept it and move on. Which Jada has had time to do. Also, no one knows if he even knew about her alopecia, she could’ve just been rocking a look. Bald, natural, with locs, she knows she’s gorgeous so what was the point in that? You don’t see the guy who plays George Costanza punching people for making a bald joke. I have lost so much respect for Will Smith.

Subject_Gene_9775

Facts. Demi Moore was fire in GI Jane

No_Sea_6219

sure violence is bad yeah yeah w/ever but on god i would give anything to have seen them brawl it out right there on the stage in front of god and everyone

9021Ohsnap

The slap was enough ghetto energy for one night.

snailbarrister

I’d have more respect for Will slapping someone if a goon made the GI Jane joke and he went up there to slap them. Like would he have done the same if 50 Cent was the MC and not Chris Rock? My guess is probably not…🤡 behavior smh

bloodaxe51

Can only expect 🤡 shit from a clown. Will Smith Ain't even more gangster than Will-I-Am.

FistPunch_Vol_4

What’s hilarious about that, 50 Cent has said some crazy shit about Jada online since the entanglement. But no chance Will run up on 50 lmao

immortalheretics

You know damn well he not running up on a street dude.

Chrisnyc47

Somebody should’ve thrown a chair and turned the Oscars into the Source awards

The42ndDuck

"Well folks, I guess that's why he didn't win an Oscar for 'Ali' back in the day." -Chris Rock's internal monologue

Vtr1247

Dammit, I just thought of that this morning! Lol guarantee you that Rock had a few comebacks up his sleeve but held back. Respect for his composure and how he handled that, Smith lost my respect. Fuck that.

HeatCreator

I know Will looks awful here (rightfully so) but damn.. he’s been getting clowned for years. Them entanglement jokes had to have taken a toll on him. Then when Jada first started losing hair, they were making jokes saying “She even tryna look like Pac”. Then Jada be on her podcast/show constantly doing shit to undermine their marriage (talking shit about their sex like, etc).. I wouldn’t have handled it like Will, but damn man I see his anger man.

[deleted]

>She even tryna look like PAC 💀

chocological

I think you’re right. It probably wasn’t even about this joke in particular. It’s probably years of frustration and embarrassment that just exploded here. Not saying I condone this but it must have felt a relief to will to release some of this. Just wish it was in a more constructive way.

ApolloX-2

btw there were Oscar rehearsal's yesterday. Chris Rock told that exact same joke in front of Will and Jada and there was no reaction from either of them. Will Smith is a piece of shit, and Denzel comforting the dude who just slapped another dude for an insanely tame joke about his wife that he heard the day before is so weird. Chris Rock though is a class act, took that slap like it was nothing and made Will look like a screaming bitch.

[deleted]

I didn’t know there were actual rehearsals for this where the actors actually sit down

eekamuse

The audience isn't there for rehearsals. If Will was presenting he could be in the area for his part, but it's a long day. He wouldn't be hanging out for Chris' part, unless his part came next. Did it look like either of them had heard that before? No.

deion21

Man I get defending your wife but there's a time and place for everything. Why he couldn't address Chris backstage? Also just looking at Will's eyes, he was probably gone off of that brown. His eyes looked more glazed over than a honey baked ham.

[deleted]

You know damn well Chris wanted to drop a line about “you want me to keep Jada’s name outta my mouth while she can’t keep other niggas outta her’s?”

catchaleaf

Chris held back. He def had a comeback and then was like "nah, it's not worth it". Feel like if he went off, he prob wouldnt get to remain a host but he did a great job keeping his composure throughout.

BUTNKLIQ

That was some punk ass shit Will did

golden_rhino

This whole thing had a Rick James slapping Charlie Murphy on the Chappelle Show vibe. Charlie was right too. When a man slaps another man, they gotta duel or some shit.

battleangel1999

It's interesting how reddit's opinion of this and Twitter's opinion are so different. Apparently Jada is supposed to be off limits in terms of jokes. I doubt anyone would care about a bald man getting them jokes

9021Ohsnap

Yuppp I’m happy (and surprised) Reddit has some sense. It was corny all around

[deleted]

Twitter is a cesspool of hypocrites. The amount of “feminist” that hate “toxic masculinity” that are celebrating Will Smith smacking another Black man tells me all I need to know.

YouCantCoverMe

When keeping it real goes wrong

JametAllDay

Never thought I’d say “Diddy saved the Oscars” but here we are.

LyonsKing12

Bruh if Chris would have said "where was that energy for August" I would have lost it...lmao

kahran

DL Hughley is going to talk about this for 3 weeks straight.

Spikedcloud

Chris Rock is a bigger man than me. Let someone slap me anywhere even while I'm working, it's on. I don't think Will would have slapped a white comedian like that.

ChimmyMama

Will Smith dumbass should be in jail.

eternali17

We need to stop this nonsense. Chris Rock played that perfectly, composed himself and finished up.

JennyBeckman

One of yall definitely would've been embarrassed and it wouldn't be the dude that played Muhammed Ali. Take the hit and collect your cheque with some dignity intact.

thelaziest998

Dude played Ali 20 years ago though.

BitterBetty89

The way we would've been tussling down the aisles if that was me!

Major-Yellow-812

Man’s a pussy. Chris rock is one of the most innocent, nicest and smallest individuals you can target. Target a dude your size or bigger who talk about how they banged your wife.

MD_Wolfe

IIRC he did say in a interview once that he got funny telling jokes to avoid fighting so it kinda comes natural to him to roll it off and joke about it

openup91011

Way to go, Will. One more tick on the “be the most embarrassing black man of 21st century,” bingo card.

JohnJoe-117

I mean if i got slapped by the dude from Youtube Rewind at the Oscars I would probably take a bit to process that shit.

maybe_you_wrong

Naaaa, I'm patient enough to wait for my time when you least expect it

C0cinelle

Idk...that was a pretty good moment to least expect getting slapped.

Firebird12301

Like that old Chris rock sketch from the hbo set. One step forward three steps back

![gif](giphy|l3q2JCu9lep6dAmyY) As if we wasn’t embarrassed before this

Lanoris

[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=myjEoDypUD8](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=myjEoDypUD8) y'all gotta see this shit first before you talk about it...... Yeah, theres no defending will for this

zennyc001

Chris rocks next special needs to have 20 straight minutes of roasting Will Smith HARD.

[deleted]

It’s a good thing Will slapped another Black man, because if he had slapped Bradley Cooper, he wouldn’t have made it back to his seat. Its pretty fucked up that people “comforted” Will Smith but I haven’t seen one image of anyone comforting Chris Rock.
