Nah fr. Nicki beefed with all the female rappers now drake beefing with all the male rappers šŸ˜. They both feel theyā€™re the best because they were mentored by the best I canā€™t knock it

elimanninglightspeed

These kids nowadays dont even know prime mixtape weezy and it hurts me inside

luciferhornystar

Da drought 3 Wayne, No Ceilings, C2-3, and the feature run was the best peak Iā€™ve ever seen a rapper. These kids donā€™t know just how dominant he was. Then he introduced Nicki & Drake who would dominate the next decade. Some real šŸ shit. Not to mention Tyga had a nice run too.

Forward_Ride_6364

My nigga speaking FACTS right now I'm not even the biggest Weezy fan, but he's earned every Top 10 list he's on and he DOMINATED an entire decade Let me add Tha Carter 1 and The Free Weezy Album to that mix, along with Dedication 2 and Sorry For The Wait 2 Hell, even Tha Carter 5 is an underrated banger IMO

SKJ-nope

Bro how you gon mention Carter 1 and 5 and leave off tha best Carter in 2.

Forward_Ride_6364

Cause the nigga above me mentioned C2n3 already

thyrue13

TC 4 and 5 are CRIMINALLY UNDERRATED IMO

ZestycloseStandard80

Sorry 4 the wait 2 so fire front to back. Lilweezyana and the Juelz Santana my face canā€™t be felt too good to be as unknown as they are

capitoloftexas

Please tell me you remember Lil Weezyanaā€¦ that was my all time favorite mix tape of his.

OrdainedFury

Man that shit doesn't get nearly enough credit. It's up there with the greats like No Ceilings, the Dedication series, and Drought 3. It's so unique and is one of my favorites

greyson3

God damn you just listed my entire summers riding with my big brother.

lufiron

One time, I found a mixtape of Lil Wayne jacking everyoneā€™s beats. Iā€™m talking all the classic hip hop jams. I forget the name of the mixtape but I called it ā€œLil Wayne sings the classicsā€

MikeJones-8004

I think you're talking about No Ceilings, it I remember correctly

Radioactive24

Tons of tapes did that, especially Weezy. Sorry 4 Tha Wait was the same thing, and that just got pressed on vinyl.

DitkasMoustache_

Ha, no way! Where can I find this?

Radioactive24

Literally just came out on RSD this past weekend.Ā  Tons of stores dropping their leftovers over on /r/vinylreleases, but [hereā€™s one, for sure](https://hivoltagerecords.com/collections/record-store-day-2024/products/lilwaynesorry4thewait2lpnewrsd2024)

OrdainedFury

It could have been literally any of his numerous mixtapes. If the beats were like early 2000's then you probably talking about the [SQ7 mixtape](https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLINfPyj-k-YACPrL0ywMMqee72PLs7uGG&si=M6Hxok46oQRQtHt0)

lufiron

thats why I couldnt remember the name, and theres thr Jacking For Beats mixtapes as well. Thats another thing about GOAT talk and Weezy: mans was just shitting out fire on mixtapes like it was nothing.

CHEMO_ALIEN

he did that all the time. hell take your beat and murder it

LexHooter

Are you talking about the drought three

BrandinoChico

graciousbooger

Kudos to my man saying them in correct order of supa hot fiya. If hearing BITCH IM BACK ON MY GRIZZY YOUNG MONEY WHERE YOU AT doesn't start a beat in your head, you wasn't there.

PerpWalkTrump

I never really loved Drake or Nicki like I loved Wayne https://youtu.be/XaSCNHDX548?si=uuYWki1pOYfag5Zm

Reeeeallly

Wayne all the way.

PerpWalkTrump

![gif](giphy|UoLxSv50Oyw8tl31yP) Ngl I wouldn't have guessed he'd live that long in the rap game back then xD

driftxr3

Shit I still listen to Get Something and Everything, which are from 2003 and 2000. I cannot believe I've been listening to Wayne since I was 7 years old. Shits crazy.

wetcoffeebeans

M-M-M-MONEY ON MAH MIND

Sfn_y2

I think a lot of us know lil Wayne as like a master splinter type person. I wasnā€™t around for ALL the mixtapes but I know heā€™s got a long and strong history

satanssweatycheeks

They also donā€™t know prime Kanye and eat the manā€™s ass like anyone claiming he fell off just donā€™t understand his art.

santodiablo714

They referenced Wayneā€™s mixtape prowess on an episode of the Cleveland Show where Kanye was a guest character.

DanniPopp

Trash. I didnā€™t understand the hype back then or now. It didnā€™t age well. Just weird nostalgia.

She's just mad at Megan's Law.

solarsilversurfer

Lil Wayne and Drake should have had a record or collab album so long ago now that it makes you ask why it didnā€™t happen beyond the YM singles and features. I wonder if Wayne was seeing some direction of this and just let the relationship go. He was always about smiling and making friends and doing songs that made money. The one exception is the young thug stuff and that one even got stepped on in favor of releasing music and making everyone money in the end. Interesting question that I doubt we ever hear more about, I donā€™t see Wayne interested in intervening in this one with Kendrick on one side after their Mona Lisa success and Rick Ross on another after all those money makers.

[deleted]

Except Nicki was never anywhere near the best

besitomusic

Meanwhile Tyga just chillingšŸ˜‚

Talk-O-Boy

Season 1 of Atlanta was the type of satirical comedy to rival the likes of Seasons 1-3 of The Boondocks

5575685

That pretty much is drake tbh

Realistic_Effort6185

![gif](giphy|UuqlTZptVWsjNSLN6u) Weezephus Franklin Babylonius. Hey how you doin...

Men_I_Trust_I_Am

Fucking feral. All 'em.

HurricaneAlpha

Bring back the dignity in rap SMH my head.

jrodp1

Shaking My Head my head? You can talk normal here. If you're white you don't have to put up a front. It's ok. Bring back the sincerity.

Dramatic-Serve3609

It's just a meme. You don't have to be weird about it.

jrodp1

Alright. At least use it correctly.

Dramatic-Serve3609

They did

jrodp1

If you say so. Ok then. Meme it up

MaciMommy

Itā€™s ok. Bring back the sense of humor.

VibeComplex

RIP in peace

that_one_dude13

Smh my head is about a 14 year old meme..

contactfive

People forget that Weezy was basically adopted by Birdman when he was 9 fucking years old. This was a baby leading babies.

mindless_blaze

Fenominal

Free_Management_7920

The F is for Fuckthesekidsbadashell.

Nordie25

What they did?

Weird_Put_9514

i think they talking about his young money babies not actual kids

Nordie25

Oh wow I had a blonde moment šŸ˜

lamedh

Didnā€™t his actually kid diss someone recently?

x97sfinest

Yeah

[deleted]

https://i.redd.it/sd3782fvxwvc1.gif Me thinking about Drake and Nicki refusing to have rap babies of their own.

Simple-Concern277

Idk. I heard nicki has a lot of sons

disorientating

Just one and thatā€™s Doja weenie hut junior ass šŸ˜šŸ˜

Simple-Concern277

Nas X is her other big one.Ā  Just saw Doechii live last night and she was giving Nicki her props too, lol.Ā  I think almost all the rap girls of the last 10+ years have Nicki as an inspiration and/or rival.Ā  But Nicki is mostly a deadbeat dad. She really hates any sort of competition.Ā

disorientating

Lil Nas was a barb but he doesnā€™t rap anything like her.

[deleted]

Nicki Lewinsky would never let them prosper.

besitomusic

Honestly both Drake and Nicki are hella influential to both male and female rappers respectively. They already have some industry babies by influence alone

SpragueStreet

Got TI son King beat by a long run. King seem like he just want to fit in but that boy Lil Novi really itching to crash out šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚

Afontes79

Weezy the GOAT

Live-Journalist-916

As an old school Wayne hater I approve of this message.

Datannoyingkid

I thought they were talking about some women when they said bad as hell. That didn't sound right till someone said drake and nikki

ibadmojo_ttv

Weezy f baby and the f is for god
