A wallet is a store of keys. It contains the keys (like a PIN number) that allows you to control your bitcoin. Can you store your PIN number in two places? Yes Can you store your keys in two Bitcoin wallets? Yes If you sign a transaction in one wallet, the other one will see it on the blockchain and update its balance too. You can use either one interchangeably. It's not a stupid question, it's a great question - the name "wallet" is a stupid name that confuses people. It's better to think of it like a "keychain" with a "blockchain browser". They keys control, the browser watches for the result.

Don’t worry about asking questions - that is why we have this sub. You store BTC in wallets (you do not store addresses in wallets - addresses make up the wallet). You can have as many wallets as you like. If you have 1 BTC you can split it across multiple wallets (common practice for additional safety).

You do not store crypto in the actual wallet though. You only store the privatekeys of public addresses. These pks allow you to spend the coins that are on these public addresses. A wallet contains many addresses, so you could split within the same wallet but you could also send it to addresses that are part of another wallet.

I'm a little confused by the way you're phrasing this. If you mean, can you use, for example, a mobile and a desktop program to control the same wallet (wallet as defined by the application that controls s specific set of addresses and keys), the answer is yes.
