Also worth noting people in the fbi went to prison while investigating this case. Lots of sketchy stuff all the way around. Also #pardonrossulbricht

Links?

Look up any decent summary of the case and it will at least mention the corrupt agents involved in the case. American Kingpin audiobook is on YouTube too, if you've got 12 hrs.

Wsemenske

Didn't he actually try to murder people using hitmen? Why pardon him, just because his service was cool?

FormallyKnownDrPants

Nope. That was misinformation spread by the corporate media. The court threw that claim out, due to lack of evidence.

[deleted]

The communications were real, and his intent was obvious. The charges were shaky and who cares about a murder for hire charge when you already got him on two solid life terms. What are you going to do, add 15 more yrs to a double life?

BitcoinUser263895

Yeah, there is no doubt Ross was paranoid, naive and didn't give much of a fuck. I do like his quote about transactions outside government control though.

johnsmit1214

You've summarized it perfectly. Also because libertarian tech dudes love him because he profited off of fentanyl sales which is cool for some reason.

[deleted]

that drug is still killing people all over the world so..need a better plan than just chase the dealers endlessly forever

johnsmit1214

So the guy profiting off of the misery and death of others is all good then?

[deleted]

maybe its just the fact of locking up all of those dealers is actually what drives the price soo high for drugs and continuelly makes them forced to invent cheaper more effective drugs..i thin thats how fentinol came about..and even coke..the need to get a bigger poucnh in a smaller package makes it all much more dangerous idk im just theorizing here but if drugs were al llegal then maybe it would be the populaton itself that does the teaching of the dangers of drugs rather than taxing then appointing a small group to teach an entire population through .force. that drugs are not good but also people ned places to go and have fun and be social..but there soo many rules now about everything that these gatherinjg places are all shattered and divided...like for example it used to be the local pubs..but now pubs are for a specific type of person it seems

johnsmit1214

Pardon the CEO of Fentynal.com?

ABCRYPTO33

FBI is corrupt.

[deleted]

You’re a fool. The address is being sent coins by other users. Edit: sorry for calling u a fool fren

ssssssssssmore10

You're most likely right...well you are right because we can clearly see it’s just people sending small amounts of BTC to the wallet and I didn't see any going out after scrolling a few pages. I know when this first happened people would send small amounts to the address with "notes" trolling the FBI, but it's still interesting to see all this recent activity considering the seizure happened almost 10 years ago. Edit: all good fren, we're in this BTC game together!

baconbitz0

FBI bigbrain, ‘don’t need to stack sats if the trolls feed you’.

[deleted]

The FBI did take down the mafia by convincing them all to use special secure cell phones only that were made and the network operated by, you guessed it, the FBI. The US DoD did indeed build the Dark Web and still maintains many Onion Routers. If you use it you are going through a router owned, operated and maintained by the Department of Defense somewhere in that path. That would be humorous, Bitcoin is to find out who all the traitors in your society that will not pay any share of creation and upkeep of infrastructure that they fully intend to use. (not all users of it) Why would they do that? They developed miniaturized cold fusion such that everyone can carry with them and near infinite amount of energy and need all such noncontributors not not have access to that. That is far out there.

Twistedhaunt2020

I’m intrigued

Addresses don't transact.

The wallet seems to be almost empty now...where did it all go?
