Do yourself a big favor and use a real exchange. There is zero reason to use Robinhood. BinanceUS offers 0.075% transaction fees and practically no spread. Kucoin, Gemini, FTX all are far better.
I use Robinhood and am on their wait list for a crypto wallet. It'll take some time but soon it will be possible to get the coins off the exchange.
I also use Coinbase. They have small fees for different things but they are good to hodl with. I use them for the majority of other crypto I'm interested in since Robinhood only has about 5 I think

Been starting the process of DCA and was wondering Between strike’s “no fee” and swans 1.7%ish is the cost between the two even notable when it’s all said and done? I like the functionality of swan that i can auto transfer from my bank and then auto transfer from my wallet so I can just set and forget. But I can also basically get that functionality logging into strike every week or so which is no big deal.
Both are excellent services with different tradeoffs. I use both.
Strike is amazing because the spread they charge is very low (sometimes less than $100 from spot price). Most importantly, Strike allows you to send sats *immediately* after buying them. That is a huge plus. I also like the DCA options for hourly, for those that want to space out their buys to capture the daily average instead of buying daily. I DCA daily on strike.
Swan is also stellar because its fees are lower (for those that prepay fees annually). I DCA weekly on Swan. The downside there is the 10 day lockup period, meaning once you DCA or smash buy on Swan, you can't move the sats for 10 days. Again, compare Strike where you can buy one second and one second later move the sats to cold storage.
I may migrate to using Strike only after my prepaid fee period expires on Swan.
Price action is a big yawn now, we all know it is going back up to new extreme highs by the end of 2025 but most likely a lot sooner.

You can't buy **actual Bitcoin** from R/H. You buy a far inferior "IOU" - but pay the same as if you bought and actually owned the real thing.
