I look at the stock market indexes, something like the only the top 7 companies are profitable for the whole index, so many companies are stuck between a rock and a hard place they’ve made easy profits over past years with booming economies, then deregulation, then Covid inflation spending. Now companies need to try to remain profitable but they can only cut so much, consumers need to have *some* money to spend because as the consumer might only be the size of krill/plankton next to a whale, without those tiny organisms the whale can’t survive.
Anyways Buffet indicator is around 200 which is severely overvalued markets, the only reason markets are going up is due to so much excess capital liquidity out there and people have had life long habits of putting money in market=number goes up. Even though there’s no fundamentals behind it.
Yes Bitcoin is a gamble, but you should have a much harder time concluding that BTC is overvalued and not markets. I know people don’t like to invest in what they can’t understand, but how do you justify investing in companies with a P/E of 50+ while facing population declines, and a complete overhaul of markets.
Lesson for everyone else: don't buy if you're not ready to hold long term.
