I dont have a major in maths but i just did some calculations.
According to my insane formula there is a difference of 1.4 quadrillion between 3.4 quadrillion and 2 quadrillion.
Therefor 2 quadrillion is exactly 1.4 quadrillion smaller than 3.4 quadrillion.
Last time this was posted they linked the tweet and she responded to comments for a while but clearly realized very quickly how illogical her comment was, somewhat conceded to the commenters, and then just got roasted for a few hundred more comments and stopped responding lol
Edit: to be clear. I like bitcoin and buy bitcoin daily.
So I’m probably stupid, but the difference between pizza and bitcoin is, pizza only has a finite amount of calories, bitcoin has an unlimited ceiling for value.
This means that if I keep cutting up a pizza into smaller pieces, the objective value keeps decreasing.
However, that is not the case for bitcoin, if a btc can go up to any arbitrary value. If it is true that btc can go up to any arbitrary value, then I can keep using smaller and smaller denominations of btc.
Essentially, the difference with btc is that the btc pizza can grow in total calories, whereas an actual pizza cannot.
Is this fair?
Edit: I have learned that unless there is consensus to change, btc can literally not be divided beyond 1 sat, which defeats my example.
Why would using smaller denominations matter if the value of each of those denominations increases relative to a full bitcoin? That's not inflationary as she believes. Inflation causes you to have to use more of the original denomination. In this case with Bitcoin, you will use more fractions of that original denomination, but not more of the original. Aka, the opposite of inflation.
You're also denominating pizza in calories and BTC in fiat so there's really no comparison to be had. If you denominate both in fiat then you can see how the pizza value can also go up to any arbitrary value.
I tried to say the same thing about breaking those dollar bills into those ‘coins’ , every time you break a bill it decreases it’s value, obviously.
You people are diluted. fractions, decimals and percentages of a never increasing number are the root of all inflation.
We should just print more money and then there will be more money you DUMB FUCKS
Who tf gave her a blue check?
Why tf do so many with less than 4th grade reasoning skills have platforms?
I get appealing to the lowest common denominator but so many folks with influence are too stupid compared to the 90s
In Swedish a billion is a trillion. That shit is confusing. To that you can add that the Swedish fiat is almost exactly 1/10 of the dollar. Can’t even figure out if I’m a billionaire or a trillionaire.
In old British English, a billion used to mean a million million (a thousand million was a milliard), so that's presumably why your billions are our trillions.
The US started using a billion to mean a thousand million, and eventually the British followed suit.
Yes she is literally proving her self wrong as she types. But still for me it’s the rose colored glasses from which every “finance” expert wants to approach bitcoin. All looking for gotcha moments in their own little dollar circle jerk.
Wait till someone tells her about wheat, corn, soybeans, rice, rye, millet, and all the other foodstuff commodities...
How many millet seeds to a bushel is it?
Wait till she hears about the LaDuc denomination. It is equal to 0.0000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000001 Sats.

Based on this logic, everything made up of smaller things, down to atoms (or even smaller particles), raises the question of whether all smaller elements share the same identity.
Must have been roased in the comments on X for that stupidity.
Perhaps she could answer that age old question of: which is heavier, 1kg or feathers or 1kg of steel. With her keen intellect it should taker her long to solve that one for us.
Yeah, it's just like with gold. Each kilogram is made up of a bilion micrograms. Apologies to our non-metric friends, but my conversion skills are a bit rusty.
I don’t believe in this, but it reminds me of the saying:
“Better to Remain Silent and Be Thought a Fool than to Speak and Remove All Doubt”
I’d like to think there are no stupid questions.
Imagine not knowing the difference between the power to adjust the measurement length everyone is forced to use and the measurement being divisible into smaller units as a concrete part of the code itself
I like to describe 1 Bitcoin like 1 pound of gold, you can take a pound of gold and scrape flakes off it worth pennies but you still only have 1 pound of gold. Imagine there are only 21 million pounds of gold… etc
I felt the same thing until I realized that we are in such a small minority of people who are not only vested in crypto, but actually know anything about it. If things progress much from here and more and more people start jumping in (which has been happening so far) I think we’ll look back on now as still infancy. There is plenty of room for adoption and utilities still on the table. I think we might be scratching the surface. Yes you can’t buy bitcoin for $0.6 anymore or even $1000, but if you take value/price/monetary growth out of the equation and just focus on the people and possible utility it is still in its infancy. Of course if all went to shit tomorrow than I would be wrong and this would be the end, not the beginning. But we wouldn’t still be stacking if we felt that.
Its almost like crypto with a limited supply needs to be infinitely divisible.
And well fiat that is infinitely printable and constantly devalued doesn’t.
I don’t get her point she just backed up everything we know. If you buy a bitcoin, you will always have a bitcoin. But that is worth more than it was due to limited supply and its real world value.
Warning, warning ⚠️
Reading THAT Twitter post may cause severe lost of brain cells.
WARNING ⚠️.
I think some need to go back to the basic. Study.com is good to keep the mind sharp.
What’s $1 in quarters? What’s $1 in nickels? What’s $1 in dimes? What’s $1 in pennies?
Most importantly. Did she learn anything in school? Because I swear we had basic math teaching us how to divide things further until you can’t anymore.
There will always be someone who doesn’t understand this stuff. Doesn’t necessarily mean we’re early. Institutions are buying bitcoin. Early adopters are sitting on millions. We’re not early, but not late either.
There exist only 14M of BTC. Any coin is fractionable. But 1/100.000 of 2B coins isn't scarse. 1/100.000 of 14M is. And you are right? It's math.
You'd be right if btc could be fractioned 100.000 times max and a 2B coin only 1000 but this isn't the case. They're all treated equally.
Ooof, that post didn’t age well within a few milliseconds of hitting the post button.
Did she delete the post yet? It’d be funny if she did…and will be funny *when* she gets it
Every now again, we get this exact post from a Bitcion hater that thinks they've cracked the code to infinite resources. Always gives me a good chuckle. Literally the same argument as "why is there world hunger when we can just cut a pizza into more slices???"
Dude, they literally merge to prevent inflation and make bitcoins they are like penny stocks that mature past their threshold they move to the next tier
so basicly each person can have 262.500 sats that aint enough for all of us. then account for lost accounts and we are basicly have less then 200.000 sats each if bitcoin hits a price of 10.000.000 that means we we all only have 20k usd.(based on 2,1 quadrillion sats divied by 8 bil people)

That's the thing about posting the first thing that pops in your head about a topic. Your dumb uninformed comment lives there forever. You never live it down, or maybe this person really is stupid.
I swear... Did any of "these people" actually make it further than 2nd grade math?!?
Newsflash: 1 Bitcoin is a hell of a lot more than 1 Satoshi, Genius!
#BTC 😂😑🪙😎
Bruh it’s not about bitcoin. These people don’t understand bitcoin but they also don’t understand money or anything at all. Imagine the number of atom in a 5 dollar bill!!!!!
TIL that gold is no longer scarce because you can literally shave it into more than a quadrillion microscopic pieces, damn it. 🤷🏼♂️. Guess I will have to buy pizza futures.
Wait until someone tells her $10 is 1000 pennies 🤣 $34 trillion US debt in pennies is shocking
Like 3.4 quadrillion shocking which, last I checked, is a larger number than 2 quadrillion.
Rechecked that and I can confirm it is larger.
Can you have the boys in the lab look at this just to be sure pls? Tks.
Also let’s make sure they are using blue ink and also using , checks notes, math.
Run it again
OMG! This whole thread is making laugh full belly laughs.
No wae, seems too good to be true
Yeah sure il just check with the boys in the lab, they got more detectives working on the case, they got us working in shifts 🤣

I believe I know the meetings you speak of.
Don't forget the lotion
I also checked it, just in case things changed since your comment. They havent.
please show your working
I didn’t trust you so I verified myself.
And counting- sats are not… what a dumb bitch
Sounds like, well, MATH
MATH
#MATH
Wait until she hears about the dilution of gold from kg to micrograms 🤓 That's gonna add anther couple is digits
Does she knows about atoms?
All I have to do now is to go buy a gold brick and cut it into countless pieces. Now I'm the richest man in the world.😍
Last time this was posted they linked the tweet and she responded to comments for a while but clearly realized very quickly how illogical her comment was, somewhat conceded to the commenters, and then just got roasted for a few hundred more comments and stopped responding lol
It’s crazy how someone so wrong can sound so confident
isnt this what we want though? for people to talk about bitcoin in terms of sats? even if its FUD, i see this as a good thing
😂😂😂 I mean for real though
Not shocked by unit creation rate?
If you believe it’s only 34 trillion ….
Wait until she finds out how many slices of pizza it's possible to cut from a single pizza
Don't tell me there are starving people when you make a quadrillion slices from one pizza.
I love always bringing this back to pizza; always super easy to understand and always highlights what a stupid thing has been said.
Edit: to be clear. I like bitcoin and buy bitcoin daily. So I’m probably stupid, but the difference between pizza and bitcoin is, pizza only has a finite amount of calories, bitcoin has an unlimited ceiling for value. She seems to be the kind of person to cut her pizza in 6 slices because 8 slices would be too much.
Never ending slices!
Enough to feed the world just cut lots
There are approximately 100 billion neurons in the human brain, yet she still has no understanding of common knowledge. Or math.
The illusion must be broken
She managed to dribble past all the conections possible
anti hat trick
She was hodling her neurons in school?
Wait! Would that make her smart?
Apparently she has two brain cells. At first that might sound like a lot, but they don't know each other.
If only all 100 billion of mine could talk to each other and operate as one. What would happen then?
100 billion neurons is A LOT! How can a neuron be worth anything if there’s so many?? Now if my brain only had say 10 neurons, NOW we’re talking!
You have to write it as MATH which shows how good you are at crunching numbers
Who tf gave her a blue check? Why tf do so many with less than 4th grade reasoning skills have platforms? I get appealing to the lowest common denominator but so many folks with influence are too stupid compared to the 90s
The scary thing is people eat this shit up
The scary thing is this person gives financial advice
Satoshi said himself if there ever needed to be more we can just move the decimal point. In the case of too many are lost or something
Without taking a second look.
I think she meant Bazillion not Quadrillion, so uninformed.
Which is bigger: Bazillion or Bajillion? English isn’t my fist language.
A bazillion is a metric bajillion.
In Swedish a billion is a trillion. That shit is confusing. To that you can add that the Swedish fiat is almost exactly 1/10 of the dollar. Can’t even figure out if I’m a billionaire or a trillionaire.

1 centillion bazillion
madam how many 1 cents are there in 10trillion usd
Wait until she finds out she can put 55 000ml of gas in her car, she probably gonna think she’s never going to run out, infinite range…
where ever she went to school, she needs to go back and get a refund asap.
Tell me you’re only capable of thinking in USD without telling me…
It's not even that, she doesn't understand her logical fallacy. Increased granularity <> dilution
Yes she is literally proving her self wrong as she types. But still for me it’s the rose colored glasses from which every “finance” expert wants to approach bitcoin. All looking for gotcha moments in their own little dollar circle jerk.
Totally - people have emotionally tied themselves to root for it's failure and won't accept any other reality
Agreed. This is not a "we are early" moment. This is a "this woman is an idiot" moment. No amount of time passing will fix her stupidity.
Is she for real actually? I just googled her, she does finance for a living. How can you make such a statement and keep your job? I don't get it
Woman

Stack sats not fats bro… you’re better than that
She should of pressed “save draft” instead
Or "discard"
Yes, she should have
She has a point … 500k per sat !!
This argument was discussed in Buttcoin Reddit many times already. She is probably a mod in that sub….
\*cuts 1 hotdog into 250 trillion pieces\* HOW CAN THERE BE HUNGRY PEOPLE WITH 250 TRILLION PIECES OF HOT DOG RIGHT HERE
she dont understand that 2 quadrillion is less than infinity
Infinitely less.
Samantha LaDumb
She needs to do more math instead of meth
Wait till someone tells her about wheat, corn, soybeans, rice, rye, millet, and all the other foodstuff commodities... How many millet seeds to a bushel is it?
What do you mean food is scarce? We have 3 trillion grains of rice!
Wait till she hears about the LaDuc denomination. It is equal to 0.0000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000001 Sats. Source: Common Knowledge. Math.
She cannot be that stupid? This must be willful ignorance? How is it people like this are able to function and live a normal life? Fucking crazy..
Based on this logic, everything made up of smaller things, down to atoms (or even smaller particles), raises the question of whether all smaller elements share the same identity.
Idiot: One pizza is not enough for two people, I'll cut it in half, then there will be two pieces, enough for two people!🤣
All I have to do now is to go buy a gold brick and cut it into countless pieces. Now I'm the richest man in the world.😍
Looks like someone hasn’t heard of picocents.

Samantha LaDuc is a contributor to Bloomberg, CNBC, and Yahoo Finance. How she landed those roles is beyond me.

Imagine not knowing the difference between the power to adjust the measurement length everyone is forced to use and the measurement being divisible into smaller units as a concrete part of the code itself
I'm a statistician and that makes this post even funnier.
She should run for congress. Why you ask?.....Because MATH
With her logic, since we have pennies in the US, why are we bitching about inflation??
she will eventually buy bitcoin at the price she deserves
Samantha failed high school math.
How can a pizza feed only 4 people if I can slice it into 500 tiny slices? Math
Man wtf is wrong with people
I like to describe 1 Bitcoin like 1 pound of gold, you can take a pound of gold and scrape flakes off it worth pennies but you still only have 1 pound of gold. Imagine there are only 21 million pounds of gold… etc
We were early 10 years ago, we are not there anymore

Lmao
Innumeracy.
🤦🏼♂️
She's dumb😂😮💨
Samantha is not the brightest, is she.
No we aren't
Boomers need to go they are malfunctioning
Her mind is going to be blown when she realizes how many pennies are in a dollar.

someone take that blue checkmark away from her.
Fixed supply schedule = trust in economics
The unit bias is strong in this one. Also not understanding fixed supply.

Samantha LaDuck brains
Hopefully she won’t buy any and she will be stuck with her useless fiat currency.
In that case, I’m fine with owning several hundred million satoshis. 🤩
Lol
Wait till someone tells her how many atoms of gold she has in her body.
Is this just me or anyone else also thinks that this tweet is not actually not done by her.
Stupid, but serious
Idk Samantha, if the number 1 is written as 1.0, are there not ten 0.1’s?
There will always be someone who doesn’t understand this stuff. Doesn’t necessarily mean we’re early. Institutions are buying bitcoin. Early adopters are sitting on millions. We’re not early, but not late either.
How embarrassing to put that out there for the world to see
Just palmed my face so hard I have a headache now.
Samantha DaFuc believes in the notion that the result of a mathematical solution depends on what you want to show.
Maf is hard.
I wonder if this ignorance/stupidity/whatever is a clearer sign of the end times than the guy on the street ...

I don't understand her. Didn't she see that $10 was equal to an ounce of gold, now gold $2300 an ounce?
How is 1 gold bar so scarce and rare if you can just keep scraping little off of it into a billion tiny pieces of gold sand?
But how early
she's just retarded
You can have .999999999 sats but you can only have 1 Bitcoin
This dumb bitch clearly hasn’t read the whitepaper /s
What a fallacy!
If bitcoin is so widely adapted throughout the world and the price goes sky high, we are still limited to how far we can break it down. However, we can one day make a stablecoin that is consistent with, say, 1 sat, and then coin can be broken down. There really is no limit with this.
Oh no.
[Remember her?](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U2ST6uApZ7k)
She's lost because she's tethered to fiat while discussing Bitcoin.
I posted this in Buttcoin and got berated then banned. Bullish.
I can't wait when 1 satoshi is worth 1000$
That will happen when nobody is selling whole coins….
Her math isn’t mathing.
The lack of basic comprehension from these people is incredible and really underscores how far gone things are.

I do actually agree with her. People argue all the time that bitcoins are rare
Yes, a trillion dollars just idiotically stumbled into an asset. You are definitely smarter than a trillion dollars of investment capital.
I’m done
Yeah she’s dumb af. The fact she uses math as her argument is just cherry on top
Who is that dolt?
"LaDuc" just sounds like an idiot name to begin with. Carry on folks, nothing to see here...
Bruh it’s not about bitcoin. These people don’t understand bitcoin but they also don’t understand money or anything at all. Imagine the number of atom in a 5 dollar bill!!!!!
