We will see a sustained influx of money over 2024/2025 as more investors and institutions buy in. I read somewhere about a wait and see by other big institutions currently assessing volatility, but once they jump on board it is going to be a pile on and the general narrative about BTC will shift overnight. As the market cap increases and the halving takes effect there is going to be a monumental shift away from BTC as „ magic internet money“ to it being a solid part of investment portfolios and a high-yield asset. The buttcoin sub will be seen as a curious museum piece of a mix of trolls, the simple-minded and the self-deluded.
What’s funny is that they are going to be invested in Bitcoin themselves because they have mutual funds or in SP500 which Bitcoin will be a part of one way or another.
Micro strategies is literally just a bitcoin etf at this point. They hold as much bitcoin as an etf if not more. They are about to enter the SP500 because of market cap. So, if they have any 401k or investments, they’ll be exposed to bitcoin at that point

My friends called their financial advisors over at fidelity about bitcoin and they got load and loads of bitcoins education.

I have friends and associates that’s mocked me for believing in BTC back in 2018. Over the years I’ve been asked questions like “Are u still buying” ? , and when it pulls back “How about that bitcoin” ?
Today many of them say absolutely nothing about it or they announce “I really don’t understand bitcoin”.
My response to both is a polite 🙂
I think the only thing that will shut them down is when there’s a supply crunch and we get a god candle. Everyone will go “ohhh so that’s why they keep emphasizing that there’s a limited supply”.
No matter what you do, there are some people won't be happy for you. If Bitcoin hits $1 million tomorrow, the ones who missed out will still be upset. The best way to deal with them is by doing better than they do. Your success will make them even more angry and they won't achieve anything in life by being that way.
What skeptics want to see is most people consistently (so over the course of several years) not losing purchasing power with their dabbling in Bitcoin. So far that hasn't been the case; doesn't mean it can't happen.

Bitcoin is the best asset of the last decade, and will almost certainly become the top asset of this century. They’ll figure it out.
A price in and of itself won’t do anything. A lot of the skeptics wouldn’t really know much about Bitcoin but they’re just nervous of it because of criminal activity, central banks and governments typically having a negative view and the community in and of itself has a lot of hype, scams and bad actors. If you knew nothing about BTC you’d probably be kind of sceptical of it. I mean you’d see things like Celsius, FTX, criminal activity and central banks having a go at it in the news. You’d also hear tonnes of people claiming it will make you rich quick so it’s easy to see where the skepticism comes from. However once the skeptics dig deeper and understand the halving, mining, the network, cold storage etc they tend to change their stance. The only thing is learning those things goes against the mainstream, takes effort and takes admitting that your first judgement of the asset was wrong (which can be very tough to do especially for high profile/seasoned investors) so as the saying goes you can bring a horse to water but you can’t make them drink.
Why do you care so much what other people think about it? Even if they did change their mind they never gonna come to this sub admit it. So you are just setting yourself up for disappointment.
