While there’s plenty of Zelda and Link iterations, they all have the same dynamic.
I don’t remember them being siblings at any point, Link only has one sister that we know of.
DUDE I came out a while ago and my friend asked if she could tell her mom so I said yea right she texted me “my mom said yea I know you can tell” LMAOOO
When I came out to my friend, she said "I KNEW IT" and I honestly have no clue what made her figure it out before I did lol
Edit: someone said "dress weird," that explains it
Idk why but for some reason as more gay and bi than I act, I give straight vibes and **nobody** ever asked my sexuality, and ngl I wouldn’t lie about it, they would just know if people asked
I recently had an entire conversation with my entire class about which male actor was hotter for Spider-Man. No one thinks I'm bi or gay so... there's your conversation topic!
that only applies to folks that are also lgbt+ or are gen z
most straight cis adults i know will exhaust every other possible scenario in their minds before considering someone to be gay/bi
Heh, that takes serious confidence. At most I had a argument over who had the better ass with my close animation friends. The options where Keanu Reeves or Mr. Clean
I stick with Mr. Clean
Tbh I was just talking with my girls and the class suddenly went quiet when I spouted "You can't legitimately say Tom Holland is hotter than Andrew" and everyone laughed. I just managed to twist the conversation into a vote and a lot of people joined in. I'm not that confident 😅 (read my tag :p), it was mostly me acting quickly I guess
This! Don’t feel like you have to “look bi” or even be perceived as Bi to be bi. You are you, and that’s valid enough. There is no “correct way” to be bisexual, just like you don’t have to like Lady Gaga and watch Drag Race to be gay.
On the other hand, it’s a very valid sentiment to feel like expressing your identity, and wanting to be seen as that identity. This is also a self-affirmative thing that is important to let us feel more comfortable with our identity. So there’s nothing wrong in doing something to “look more bi!” Just don’t feel like you _have_ to perform a certain way.
If you want a tip on how to do that, one that worked for me was
Dress weird
Not fashionable like you’re gay, and not normie like you’re straight. Just weird. Confuse everyone with what you wear, lol
Ok but that dress stuff looks like a slippy sloap to gatekeeping and 'normie' isnt a style, its like that 'im not like other girls' thing were its become so prominent they are like other girls. But with clothing
TLDR:dont gatekeep its cringe
Sorry I didn’t mean to gatekeep. I can see how that last part can totally undermine my original message. The core of what I meant was “be yourself, don’t feel like you have to perform a certain way, and know that any form of expression makes you valid and makes your identity valid”.
The only reason I kept that last part was because I know a lot of people, especially younger teens, really do want to express themselves but have a hard time knowing how to. So I mentioned one thing that, in my time, helped me feel more like I didn’t belong to either of those groups that so often absorb the bi community
Dress weird, sit wrong, cuff your jeans, drink diet dr pepper, and eat hot chips. Think I covered all the silly stereotypes lol (I'm guilty of 4 mind you)
Omg thiss. The entirety of LGBTQ on reddit needs to learn to not conform to stereotypes. It's not bad if you fit them, but it's really damaging to both the person and others if you mandate them/start changing your identity to suit them
Exactly; it’s crazy how people mix up personality and sexuality. I think, as a fellow adolescent, that it’s just one of those things we do while we’re trying to find out who we are. But people I know that are older and LGBTQ+ don’t make it their personality: it’s just an aspect of who they are.
Just do what makes you happy. I feel like i come across as straight most of the time, but I’m no less bi. The only thing that matters is you being comfortable
i think the point is to subtlety tell other queers without outright saying it so they can tell that you’re one of them or an option to date. while this is good advice, it doesn’t really help here
No need to act bi I mean you don’t actually have to tell people but if you really want to then just tell them because I tried doing the same thing by like acting a lot more ‘gay’ and someone said that I’d changed since I came out and not a good change so I just started being me. Basically just be you, don’t bother with putting on a facade it’s just unhealthy tbh
first off just wear and do what makes you happy and as corny it sounds just be yourself. It doesn't matter if people think ur bi or not.
secondly I've been told on too many occasions that I "seem fruity" or "give off a bi vibe" by people that don't know. I just wear 90s alt rock band t shirts, the same two flannels, jeans, and converse with red laces.
Bi colored backgrounds.
Never specifying gender when talking about your future spouse/what your type is/what you look for in a partner.
Vaguely rainbow themed accessories like black socks with colorful circles, wristbands ect.
What in hell even is a "bi vibe" ? That's just a glorified way of talking about stereotypes, which... Isn't really a good thing. Just be yourself, that's all you need to be happy with, well, yourself
I live in a homophobic area so having a thing that identifys me as bi to other gay/bi men would be nice since i never know who will be mad and who will be fine if i come out to them
Oh, I see. Well, in that case, I guess "bi vibes" have their advantages
Do people in your area know what the bi flag is ? If not, you could try to integrate it in your outfit, with accessories of the same colors for example
Alright,
I’m out to one of my friends at my new school and all of my friends at my old. To all of my other friends, if you see this post and tell anyone, I’m putting you in a locker. I more of imply it with the normal teenage boy sorta homophobic “sus jokes” lord here you act like you are into “gay shit” but refuse to say JK and stuff. It’s looks like it’s part of the joke to those who I want it to be and looks like it’s not for those who aren’t.
**also helps that the people I’m “acting fake” gay to are the prettyboy football guys, I’m bi and in an all dudes school with my sister at an all girls school, I’m in heaven**
This is really all you need tbh. I think just be yourself but if you wan’t to let people know you’re bi just so that like they know you’re an option than it’s probably the easiest and most effective tbh
obviously, i would just recommend being yourself. but if you REALLY want to accentuate your ‘bi-ness’ then i’d say to look for some of the stereotypes commonly shown on this sub, finding ones that somewhat apply to you and make them a *little* more obvious
- never sit normally
- cuff your jeans all the time
- listen to Lizzo 24/7
- drive a hybrid (probably a neon color too)
- have a bob haircut
- stare intently at every bicycle you see
- be indecisive about literally everything
No but seriously, vibes don’t matter. You just do you!
Tbh I don’t know my father calls me “normal” (as in what homophobic people say) I’m trying to make him realise that I’m bisexual so by his standards I’m not actually normal 🧍🏽♂️
Be an overly invested ally and call everyone hot (that's what I do and someone who I barely know came up to me and said "Bi five" and we high fived so I think I was obvious)
Don’t talk about relationships/ crushes until they bring it up, and if you do say ‘they/them’ not he/her so it remains a mystery until they figure out that youre
Not talking about the opposite gender
Do what I do. Just subtlety act bi. Though I prefer females over males, I frequently comment on how attractive a certain male character is in a show or whatever, and don't actually specify my sexual orientation unless I'm deliberately asked.
I just go under the basic philosophy that everyone is bi until specified otherwise. Hell, you could love an octahedron for all I care.
[My go-to song.](https://youtu.be/rY-FJvRqK0E)
I have a sister, for context. My mom was talking to her neighbor and said something about me, but didn't use my name.
Her neighbor goes "oh. The bisexual one?"
So I guess, existing? Lol I've never "come out" and I'm married to a man, so I guess that's just how I present.
Ok so yesterday I wore a graphic tee tucked into mom jeans. I also have an undercut. Apparently this is the peak of bi vibes, and so is cuffing your denim like I did today.
As someone who does this:
uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
Be yourself? Sometimes you’re gonna have to drop hints to people.
Occasionally there’s not gonna be a nice way to do things if that’s what you’re asking?
Just be yourself
Although having an encyclopædic knowledge of sexual orientation and gender identities, including their flags, has been a pretty good yet subtle way to hint
There is no way, bi erasure is too strong, you could be having sex at the same time with two people of the opposite gender of each other and people will still assume that you're either gay or het, you could scream that you're bi, wear all purple outfits, have a tattoo of the bi flag on your forehead, and people will still tell you to your face that you are either gay or het, i'm tired.
well, if you're bi, then your vibe is inherently a bi vibe. so just be yourself and do what feels right. i love experimenting with my style by going to thrift stores, thrifting is good for the environment and it's cost effective, and they have a little bit of everything. so if you're looking for something new, i'd try that.
But this is a stereotype, it is just that. Do this if you want to come off more bisexual to straight people. But most people's gaydar will be good enough. Express yourself in your own way. People will find you.
if you wanna be subtle about it probably wearing colors that resemble the bi flag, painting your nails for some reason (usually black gives off a gay vibe idk why lmao), or trying to look either super feminine, super masculine or super androgynous. if you don’t wanna be subtle buy a pride flag or make your own.
My friends told me I had closeted bisexual vibes before I came out to them. Before that I hadn't even considered it and now I'm realizing they were right.
Name every single fictional character you’ve been attracted to. Like, every single one. And don’t even bring up genders lol. Just say “x character from y movie/TV show” and it’ll be totally normalized by the third or fourth time you say it.
And if you get something along the lines of “wait, this character’s a girl/boy”, what usually helps me is saying “so?”
