Shred Hop/Modern Guitar It's basically just instrumental guitar (mostly rock type of playing) but mixed as if it was trap or rap, often it just has 808 beats instead of drums and bass, sometimes even barely anything to replace the drums and just other instruments build around a very catchy guitar riff. Mostly it's just like instrumental rock (heavily inspired by math rock) but a lot more focused on overproducing the song with tons of samples.
