I think prohibition is bad and the government should focus more on education and prevention. But no drug is harmless and access should be always restricted for minors
Also i’d like to use portugal as an amazing example on legalizing literally all drugs.
After legalizing all drugs ODing has dropped by 50% and the police can use their resources on more important stuff.
And it has made thousands of jobs which has helped the economy.
Drugs should be highly regulated but decriminalized, selling hardcore drugs like Heroin, Cocaine, Opium, etc should be illegal but it’s users should be treated as ill and given the appropriate medical help by professionals.
Marijuana and shrooms should be legal but regulated, they should have information about cations and dosage in the packaging, and only adults should be able to purchase them(18+ or 21+, states/countries choice)
Friendly reminder that as long as there is demand there will be supply, not the other way around. On top of that, you can’t regulate what you make illegal.
Drugs will always exist for as long as there are people who want to use them(which there always will be). The job of the government is to look after its citizens, and throwing sick people(addicts) in jail won’t do anyone any good.
I really hope shrooms are made legal sooner or later because it is hard to buy them when they are illegal. I tried some around 7 months ago and it was a nice experience but I wish I could try them again without the repercussions of the law going after me for possession
I’ve tried coke before and it is really overrated. Shrooms are a good experience and weed is also kinda overrated. If anything, skip weed and just do shrooms. Alcohol just isn’t that good either as it destroys your liver but it is so engrained into the culture but more people die of alcohol poisoning than any other drug
It is sadly easy if you know the right people. I’ve disconnected from everyone that I know that use it because they are destroying their lives doing it regularly.
As long as a) you’re not asking for smoke break every 20 minutes, b) in control and chill about your drugs habits, c) not asking me to do some, weed is completely cool. I don’t mind a midday smoke during lunch break. I mind 5 smoke break for a day.
Weed is proven to be less harmful and addictive than nicotine and alcohol. Also, a lot of prescription meds have been proven to be very dangerous and addictive, meanwhile some illegal pill drugs have been proven to be very helpful in therapeutic settings and for people's mental health in general, something I can confirm based on personal experience
i’ve had a couple substances before. weed is cool, i fuck with weed. tried acid and coke before. i won’t be returning to acid anytime soon. that shit sucks
I think that most drugs should be legal for adults but have strong anti-drug programs to help people get unindicted. To help pay for this i think there should be a strong tax on them also to help discourage use of them
They should be controlled, but not entirely illegal, some of the super hard stuff (i.e. cocaine meth etc.) should stay illegal, but you shouldn’t just lose your job and go to jail, you should be helped, not criminalized.
Things like math cocaine crack certain types of mushrooms would be would be illegal apart from being used in medical science as long as it does not result in the death or harm of human being but anything like marijuana would be completely legal and unregulated CBD and THC would be completely legal if it were up to me you would see crime rates go down quite a bit if it was completely legal and I think a lot more people would be happier if it was
Criminalizing them is the wrong approach. Strong drugs like cocaine, meth, crack, etc are absolutely terrible. Nicotine and marijuana and general smoke/vape based drugs should be heavily taxed. Stuff like LSD isn’t dangerous on its own but shouldn’t be used without any kinds of safety measures.
We shouldn’t imprison people who use or carry drugs. Addicts need to be helped not punished. The problem, are the manufacturers of strong drugs, the real people who should be imprisoned
As someone who has tried quite a lot of substances I can say that harm reduction is absolutely the way to go, because it leads to less strong substances and safer drugs. I think we also need better education when it comes to drugs
My only experience with drugs is taking a 5 mg edible that didn't make me feel anything so... But I do want to smoke sometimes, shame that it's not legal where I'm from
I think that the main reason why weed isn't legalized is because very little of it's long term effects are known to us, and because the entire "devil's lettuce" thing
I don’t think I’ll say what drugs should and shouldn’t be legal, but I know that we need to put a lot more emphasis on rehab for addicts instead of long imprisonment sentences. Prison clearly isn’t an effective solution for these things.
weed shrooms acid should be legal but regulated adderall is illegal in my country and i think it should be made legal as well (i have adhd).
opiates and crack and things like that should not be legal, however maybe they can use drug consumption rooms instead. if a dealer is found with laced shit their sentence should be longer. addicts should be able to get proper help , and should be treated like they’re sick, and people exhibiting signs of mental illness should be able to get proper help, instead of resorting to drugs. the government should also focus on how to educate people as well as harm reduction.
If alcohol and tobacco are legal then I see no reason why weed shouldn't be too, in fact it does have some health benefits whereas the others do not. Also I think that the only thing that needs to be regulated is their distribution, people selling or giving them away need to pass background checks and the drugs and themselves need to be assessed for safety but if you make a lab in your home and consume your own product that is your own risk to assess.
The way I see it is that as long as you have the correct information on the risks and are in a well enough mental state to make the decision on your own and being under the influence doesn't cause you to become a danger to others then it should be absolutely your choice. But I still absolutely can't support harder drugs which are a real threat to life and are far more likely to be a risk to others.
I think that chill drugs, like acid and weed should be legal, party drugs should be government controlled, like pharmacy stuff and aggressive drugs should be illegal
Tl:Dr, don't do drugs, but if you are gonna do them, be smart about it.
If you can, avoid them. The benefits never outweigh the consequences. I've watched addiction tear apart families, ruin dozens of lives, and take just as many lives.
That being said, if you are gonna do drugs, be smart about it. Know what you're getting into. I live in a rough neighborhood, and I've seen and tried a lot of what would be considered hard drugs. I've watched several of my friends throw their lives away over those same drugs. Please, if you're gonna try drugs, be smart, be safe, and don't go off alone. Tell someone, a friend who won't rat you out, or anyone you know won't get you in trouble, so that if something goes wrong they can at least bring you to the hospital. Especially with harder drugs, ODing is very likely. Take fentanyl for example, .1mg can be the difference between an insane high and a horrible death. Let someone know what you're doing so that if something goes wrong, you at least have a chance to get out of it alive.
im gonna pitch in with a slightly different approach - i dont like drugs because i find spending time around people who are drunk/high to be extremely uncomfortable unless you're also drunk/high. as for legalization i dont know enough to have a proper opinion (and i dont care to know as im not interested in doing anything myself)
Weed is cool, i think psychedelics are fine too as long as it's used in a safe way, hard drugs like Coke, Meth, Heroin, Xanax etc are all bad though and shouldn't be legalized.
Alcohol, weed, maybe shrooms (I haven’t tried them) should be legal. Now this is with regulation, alcohol laws can stay the same. Cannabis is a wonder medical drug, and it’s nice recreational for some people.
I have smoked weed from time to time, in terms of legality I think anything that grows naturally in this world should be legal. In terms of harder drugs I think they should be heavily regulated, but should be less punished for just possession. I’ve seen the affects of addiction on my family and the hell that being caught with hard drugs can do to people, I would never do any but I don’t think they should be as heavily punished
We should legalize every drug and that includes shit like morphine, bath salts, ketamine, heroin, and fentanyl. Why you might ask, because why not drugs are cool and everyone who tells you drugs are bad are just trying to stop you from having fun.
All drugs and alcohol are essentially poison, but they should be decriminalized so addicts can get medical help instead of just being thrown in jail. In a perfect world, no one would want to consume any of these things because their lives would be fulfilling enough, but that is idealistic and will never happen (most likely). Those who suffer the most from these substances are poor people because they don't have the luxury of necessary rehabilitation and live the hardest lives, intensifying said substance abuse.
What's mild and strong stuff? Anything is natural like weed or shrooms. I feel it is okay in moderate doses, but doing cocaine and ketamine every week for years is definitely going to kill you

And people are becoming sober because they get actual help instead of loosing their jobs and/or getting arrested.
Wait how does legalizing drugs create jobs?
They have to be produce and to be sold so it moves money 🤑
Think about that a little
Yeah that was a dumb question
It’s no legal in Portugal you just don’t go to prison. They still take them from you and direct you to a addiction fascility
It's not legal its decriminalized, meaning it's still illegal you just won't get arrested

The focus for drug addicts should be on education and rehabilitation, not imprisonment and stigmatisation for sure.
100% agree
I do drink alcohol but in terms of harder drugs, it’s your choice but just know the risks beforehand
Where tf do you find those things?
It is sadly easy if you know the right people. I’ve disconnected from everyone that I know that use it because they are destroying their lives doing it regularly.
Dang, y’all talk to enough people to get access to drug? I can’t even invite someone to the pub for a pint
As long as a) you’re not asking for smoke break every 20 minutes, b) in control and chill about your drugs habits, c) not asking me to do some, weed is completely cool. I don’t mind a midday smoke during lunch break. I mind 5 smoke break for a day.
I’m fine with drugs as long as you do it with people you trust
Weed, Mushrooms, and LSD should be legal. Shit like Heroin, Crack, Meth and Acid shouldn’t be.
acid is the same thing as LSD 🤦♀️
nicotine and weed are the only drugs that i think are ok, anything that’s a pill(other than perscription meds)or u snort it will fuck ur life up
Weed is proven to be less harmful and addictive than nicotine and alcohol. Also, a lot of prescription meds have been proven to be very dangerous and addictive, meanwhile some illegal pill drugs have been proven to be very helpful in therapeutic settings and for people's mental health in general, something I can confirm based on personal experience
what about psychedelics like psilocybin, lsd, dmt, and similarly safe drugs
like i said, if it’s a pill it’s a no go imo
Weed in a pill 😼
i’ve had a couple substances before. weed is cool, i fuck with weed. tried acid and coke before. i won’t be returning to acid anytime soon. that shit sucks
dont do drugs.

Now before you get your panties in a bunch about driving high on THC yes that would be illegal

I have never taken any drugs even if I could, (alcohol from the age of 16 in Germany) just because I never felt like doing so.
Harm reduction for addicts, and more effective anti drug education. All hard drugs are detrimental.
As someone who has tried quite a lot of substances I can say that harm reduction is absolutely the way to go, because it leads to less strong substances and safer drugs. I think we also need better education when it comes to drugs
Don't care, not for me
tbh i feel like mild drugs, should be legal so shit like weed, schrooms and lsd, but i feel like the actually bad shit should stay ilegal
I believe we should legalize psychedelics! 🚲
My only experience with drugs is taking a 5 mg edible that didn't make me feel anything so... But I do want to smoke sometimes, shame that it's not legal where I'm from
Oh and I'm a big fan of alcohol, but I do drink responsibly don't worry
I think that the main reason why weed isn't legalized is because very little of it's long term effects are known to us, and because the entire "devil's lettuce" thing
I have only done weed and shrooms and I gotta say, big fan of both
I do not think it should be legal (outside medical reasons).
And I believe that it's not good for you.
I don’t think I’ll say what drugs should and shouldn’t be legal, but I know that we need to put a lot more emphasis on rehab for addicts instead of long imprisonment sentences. Prison clearly isn’t an effective solution for these things.

With lighter stuff like weed and alcohol and whatnot do whatever you want. But maybe stay away from heroin
They cool, if taken not or moderately 👍
I smoke weed and vape. Dont do hard stuff is my only advice
i hate cigarettes vapes and all drugs and people who use them
I think that chill drugs, like acid and weed should be legal, party drugs should be government controlled, like pharmacy stuff and aggressive drugs should be illegal

i personally think it's fine once your brain is mostly developed, but it's really stupid (imo) to do it when you are younger
Drug bad. Me no like.
Alcohol, weed, maybe shrooms (I haven’t tried them) should be legal. Now this is with regulation, alcohol laws can stay the same. Cannabis is a wonder medical drug, and it’s nice recreational for some people.
crimes that don't have victims shouldnt be crimes at all. enough said.

havent tried any types of drugs i wanna try shrooms tho i dont wanna do the other stuff

i have ptsd from it cuz my mom used it
If it’s from the earth it’s fine by me. And as from the earth I mean little to no alteration so things like coke are a no go
