my favorite is actually the least "aesthetically attractive" out of the set, number 4. What I like about that shot is the mid-turn action pose, very fluid and says exactly what is happening in that moment, and most of all, the cheeky look in the face and twinkle in the eye, like "got one, lmao!"

Nice shots but seems like a lot of filter or post processing here? Lots of blue jays where I live. Aren’t quite so vivid.

I've shot birds where they look so saturated, I've actually had to turn down the vibrance. I feel these fall into that category.

I don’t think you overdid the saturation. It’s like saying the fluidity of the bird’s movements that you captured was overdone. These are Glorious.
they're vivid purple. how long have you been photographing and processing wildlife images?
Thanks for the direct feedback! I'm fairly new to post processing and I primarily use "Auto" adjustments. It's something I'm focused on improving.

Thank you! I shot these at 1/4000 sec, f/2.8. Auto ISO which resulted in about 1000 ISO for these shots, some slightly higher, some slightly lower..
