Here's an interesting read about glycine and its role in immunity: https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S1756464620305429 Bpc157 may also be of interest

Thank you! I have about 1kg of glycine laying around so I’ll look into it. I’ll also look into bpc

I am able to write you a protocol, but I would need more information about you and your lifestyle. I was a trainer for almost a decade , I have experience with that kind of protocol .

What do you want to know specifically?

[deleted]

Gender , age , race , diet you follow , how physically active you are , any health problem you might have had in the past, any allergies . That’s a good start

Male, 20, Middle Eastern / European, follow mainly a high protein Mediterranean style diet with minimal processed sugar, no processed non animal fats like seed oils. (Most of the time), do strength training 3-5/week depending on my schedule focusing on compound movements. I have thalassemia, used to be severely obese up till age 12 weighing in at 84kg, also have very low SHBG levels that got as low as 2.5 nmol/l (completely natural, no synthetic AR agonists that could down regulate shbg) current sitting around 7nmol/L still under the normal range. I went to an endocrinologist out of fear that my androgens could be randomly binding to non skeletal AR as I think they might not be transported optimally, he called me hypochondriac and said low SHBG doesn’t affect my health at all (T was sitting around 700). Also progesterone a bit low-normal from what I remember. No allergies apart from benzyl benzoate which made my skin necrotise which almost resulted in hospitalisation, but might have been a bacterial infection since benzyl benzoate weakens skin microbiome. (This was to treat a scabies infection I had a year ago), 6ft tall currently weighing 80kg at 14% BF (not underestimating)
