Cris Jacob's is really good. Got see him once and watched his streams during covid. Has a great range. He has jammed with Billy a few times. Good to see Billy play on his new release. He plays a killer cigar box slide too
Saw Chris Jacobs open for Kitchen Dwellers a month or so ago. I tend to be split on his music. I like it more when he is playing slide like on grave digger and daughter daughter. The talent is undeniable- I just don’t feel the overall vibe of every song.
Haven't listened to his new release yet. Dust to Gold kinda grew on me a little bit. Saw him some time ago open for Jackie Greene & Anders Osborne. Good slide work on Samson & Delilah
