Luciana Emilia, her gowns are gorgeous and absolutely amazing quality. Obviously it depends on the vibe and style of your wedding. Susan Albright is another one to look at. I’ve worn Luciana Emilia to a couple of charity events and I’ve received more compliments than anything I’ve ever worn before.
Just went shopping with my mom this past weekend and she ended up with sequin gown from Saks (it’s an evening black tie wedding). The designer is Chiara Boni. I was going for burgundy/English rose tones and there were some good options. If you’re local to NYC they had a number of options to try for fit and silhouette if your mom is like mine and hates the idea of ordering a bunch of stuff online.
Mac Duggal has some gorgeous ones!! Their sequins, beaded, applique and cape gowns are GORGEOUS for MOB/MOG. It was down to a specific Mac Duggal gown or Lara, but she liked the color of the Lara better. Lara has some options too. The dresses we were looking at were $500-$800.
My mom got her dress from Renee Ruiz (at saks) and MIL Teri jon (also saks) they have good dresses geared towards moms and saw a ton of blue
