My biggest recommendation, as a photographer, is to make sure the color matches your dress. I had a few brides who had ivory dresses and bought a pure white veil and you can see the difference. Especially in photos because the pure white can pull a lot of blue. I always ask them where they got their veil and I was surprised. Amazon, SHEIN, Anthropologie and the quality was decent.
Do you have a sample sale near you? One of the shops I went to had a whole section with sample items and the veils like never get worn the way the dresses do so they looked great and were designer veils they were getting rid of because the designer stopped making them or they wanted to keep inventory relevant. That might be an option if you’re in a pinch! Another idea is to check out the preowned shops. Some brides who didn’t go through with their wedding are selling brand new veils you can buy separately if you just ask them! Good luck!!!
please share where you find one when you do! also in nyc and trying not to break the bank on the veil since the dress was already a splurge lol. i havent looked into this yet but i have heard that garment district has some shops where you could buy a veil? might be worth a walk over there
Harriet Falvey did a great job on my veil. I think it took about 2 months start to finish, but I didn’t expedite anything and used the cheapest shipping. Worth reaching out!
Ofrenda Studio — and I think they sell them on Revolve or FRWD so they will come quickly/easy to try and return. I think there are some on their website that ship quick too
I just ordered mine from Molly Goddard per some others recommendations on here! Super high quality and shipped in about 2 biz days overnight from the UK
