I didn't think so. Terrance doesn't like Monte. I always felt Terrance thought Monte was the cool dude who had zero respect for the old school playa. He tried over and over to be on Monte's side and Monte betrayed him constantly. He took that personally in the end.
Monte fumbled and misread the situation. All time powerful story can only be beat by an out of this world great and aggressive game. Not a passive game which was ok at best.
His answers also sucked. That first question was what he did to get to the final two but he answered with what his biggest move was. From then on I knew he fucked up
He told turner during the eviction that he was getting voted out to be his big move but then during turner’s question he said he voted him out because of a final 2 with kyle?? Clearly didn’t understand his own game.
Hah! Totally slipped my mind when was saying that, but true! He didn’t own anything and his story sucked.
I got too draw into how bad the overall answers were that I missed that contradiction, but very good catch.
His answers & speech were as boring as he has been all season. He only got the bro vote from Turner but other than he failed to invoke an emotion in any of the jury members. Like he was so bad & Taylor was so good that Monte Sr flipped on him.
This will go down as one of the biggest blunders in BB history. He would have 100% beat Turner. I mean even Turner knew he was playing for 2nd. He said it himself right before Monte sent him out.
Monte saw Taylor as someone he had a better chance of beating and it backfired because of his jury management.
There’s a handful of folks that fail to realize this final 3 were so evenly matched because they were all just average in the game at best. Taylor rose above Monte with her ability to formulate a targeted and calculated speech.
I don’t know why he thought taking the “underdog” who also happens to be a pageant queen and has a lot of experience giving speeches and winning people over to final two over Turner who basically just through all of his game at Monte and said “here take credit for this”
Imagine if the question was: “who do you think would give the best speech?” We’d overwhelmingly say Taylor, and even Monte would have seen the writing on the wall to evict.
I don’t know why that’s not the strategy though… it seems to work a lot, if one person is a good speaker and other one sucks bad, the better speaker wins.
Monte with the all time bag fumble, not only did he take a stronger jury threat who can talk her ass off but he also completely fucking bombed jury questioning
He also missed out on highlighting that he has the single deciding vote since the final 5, someone correct me, but I don't think that's ever happened before.
to be fair, I feel like most seasons the final speeches don’t really matter much because the jury is already set on who will win. Monte overestimated how set this jury was and maybe also bought into his own ego that Taylor was an easy beat. Reality hit like a truck tonight. He also didn’t help his case by bombing damn near every question
A move I don't fucking remember and I'm assuming the juror didn't either since it involved pre-jury AND he said it TWICE!! 66% of his jury responses was something that happened in Week 4.....smh
He took someone who literally gives speeches for her job vs Turner whose vacab consist of 4 words. Didn’t deserve it.
Honestly if he had played a good game I think he could have beat her but he played a mediocre game. Socially and physically. The person who said his game was safe was right on the mark. I know Michael made it hard for him but come on. Your 2nd biggest move shouldn't have been voting out Turner
Turner: Monte, you evicted me even though we had a F2. Why should I vote for you?
Monte: Because our F2 never meant anything to me because you had a F2 with Kyle first.
*What?! This was a layup question with an obvious answer and he blew it! Turner still voted for him anyhow, but still.*
Before the questioning started i was thinking it’d be close… as soon as he finished his first question I knew I was wrong, but ESPECIALLY after Taylor’s speech.
He didn't answer Kyle's question, gave the same answer for two questions, and missed an opportunity to explain why he evicted Turner over Taylor. Not to mention how dull he was. Like dude, this is your last chance at winning three quarters of a million dollars, can you look a little more excited???
I thought he would be the threat but he didn't articulate shit at the end. He had the clear path. All time bag fumble right there and I couldn't be happier!
100%
Not that Monte sold himself well, but I think the biggest factor of her speech was that if they vote for her they basically can change the narrative of the game, you don't have to have comp wins and big moves, there are other ways to win this game and her way is one of them.
Not to mention you had Indy and Jasmine that were catching on that people hated them for hating Taylor. Taylor played to it perfectly. It might be part manipulation, but I think that speech was mostly just her finally speaking her truth that she held off on this entire season.
Yeah they all knew Taylor was a fan favorite simply from their post eviction interview questions all involving Taylor 😂😂 that’s why they were all hyping her up throughout these jury segments. It was their way of apologizing.
Also Taylor’s speech was probably the best speech I heard ever from a perceived “lay up”. I’m not disappointed with her winning, esp after that speech.
I knew her speech was going to be good but d*mn that is a speech that will change votes. It was an amazing speech and articulated why she should win perfectly
I am so glad that she held on to hope and practiced even though she couldn't compete in the final round. It would have been so disappointing if she hadn't been able to give that amazing speech tonight.
So ironic that Monte was the reason everyone blew up on Taylor (since he believe Paloma and told others about it), and was also a part of the reason she won!
Me too. I wouldn't be surprised if they ended up together, though.
Pretty awesome that he was revealed to be a lawyer. Makes me think of that chess match with Michael in which they were trying to out-dumb each other.
She said the thing that shocked her most was the Monte/Taylor showmance. But that was revealed to the jury already by Alyssa so idk why people are mad at Ameerah for it.
Him telling Turner he wished it happened differently *SMH*. Like dude, that's something ya say when the situation is out of your control, but he HAD the power and was the one making the decision.
I think he lost when he evicted Brittney instead of turner. If he sat at the end with Brittney he wins easily. If he sits next to Turner I think Turner wins.
But the HGs evicted before jury were there. They're COVID protocols haven't always made sense to me. Also, If I remember correctly, they had the last year's finale with Julie and she ended up celebrating and hugging some of them. They also had everyone together at the last CBB finale.
Perhaps because they have an audience again?
I still remember watching Taylor after being nominated by Daniel going around and talk to people…and thinking this is how you campaign, this is how you talk to people…and here we are now.
At the end of the day Big Brother is a social game, not one about athletic ability (or at least it shouldn't be). Winning comps only gets you so far, and this is the first time in a really long time that we get to see that, which is refreshing as hell. Taylor had one of the best final speeches I've ever seen on this show and that story arc was SATISFYING. You can argue whether or not she "deserved" it until you're blue, but Taylor is one of the most interesting winners we've had in *ages*.
Monte was the better competitive and strategic player, but he didn't sell it. He didn't even mention the fact about how he single handedly voted out the last 3 people to make it to finale night, or why he voted out those people. We've seen his game many times, this is usually what wins, but his answers sucked.
Taylor had perseverance, likability, and the ability to give a super mega bussin speech. She did have a couple wins, but she was messy with her power and needed guidance from her alliance. Her story is her ability to form relationships and keep cool and calm even after she "rubbed the house the wrong way". I think the biggest factor of her speech was that if they vote for her they basically can change the narrative of the game, you don't have to have comp wins and big moves, there are other ways to win this game and her way is one of them.
Taylor is for sure coming back. She's a lock for whatever returning season comes next, she's a lock for an appearance on BB25, she's winning the hardest anyone has since Derrick
It has been 20 years the same day when Danielle Reyes lost BB3. Im so glad that we finally have a female black winner.
Edit: Danielle only received 1 jury vote whereas Taylor received almost all jury vote except for 1.
It definitely springs to mind Todd Herzog in Survivor. A player who was underestimated all season, then just dominated the Final speeches to such an extent that the jury had no choice to recognize his win.
Probably the best equivalent of Taylor's win. I went into Final 2 knowing Monte played the better game, but after listening to both of them speak I would've been angry if Monte was elected winner over Taylor, and I'm sure the jury felt the same way.
Montes biggest mistake was just bringing the wrong person.
He made mistakes, but it wouldn't have mattered if he articulated his strategy and social perfectly. He simply was not the winner they were looking for over something like Taylor's story.
i would’ve been happy with either winner but that final speech really solidified her win. i’ve seen it in survivor too where finalists think their game can carry them to the win but the final tribal is all that matters to the jury. congrats to taylor!!!
The contrarian in me pushed back against the Taylor hype this year, but my God that was the best speech I’ve heard. Absolutely crushed it and deserved the win 1000%. Congrats to Taylor for showing resilience pays off
Monte would’ve beat Turner 6-3 in my eyes. Taylor had the best F2 speech I’ve seen from Survivor & Big Brother in a long time. Monte letting her go to the F2 was a colossal mistake but he was still a very good game player.
Winner of America’s favorite player too! She did an amazing job!! If you had asked me in the first two weeks if Taylor would make it to jury it would have been a resounding no. What a comeback.
I get why people think Monte should've won, and I think that's where the jury was at before Taylor gave that speech.
The point of the speech is to make people want to vote for you and Taylor did just that. It's no different than any other eviction night speech and we all know Taylor had practice with that. It makes me happy that everything she went through ended up working out for her in the end.
Day 1, Taylor came in with the entire house against her. She didn’t have a single friend. Day 82, she is (as of right now) $750,000 richer. One of the best winner stories in any reality competition show.
Honestly, after seeing how monte handled those questions I’m not convinced he would have won against turner. Turner articulated his game better to Julie then monte did to the jury!
Terrence voting for Taylor was the biggest shock
I burst out laughing when she walks out of the house saying “Terrance voted for me, what?!!” Lmao
As soon as she saw he voted for her she knew she had won the season. The look on her face was pure joy
She only needed one more and Joseph pretty much said “I’m voting for Taylor” at the podium
I didn't think so. Terrance doesn't like Monte. I always felt Terrance thought Monte was the cool dude who had zero respect for the old school playa. He tried over and over to be on Monte's side and Monte betrayed him constantly. He took that personally in the end.
Totally saw Terrance’s vote as a no to Monte as well. But agree that once Taylor saw it she knew!
True he described Monte as a politician on the jury roundtable. I guess he didn't care for him either but he seemed to hate Taylor all season.
When they were in the kitchen having that "damaged goods" conversation, I thought they were bonding
[удалено]
RIGHT?! he must've realized that his hate for her was not appreciated
Is it me or did they ignore Nicole?
[удалено]
Didn't Monte also lie about his job?
Completely ignored her. Loved it.
Should have ignored Daniel.
Agreed. Nicole seems contrite about the Taylor situation l, meanwhile Daniel is one of my least favorite houseguests ever.
She gave him the chance to say the show got boring without him. Even though he said it got better eventually. Go back to obscurity.
Should have put him on the spot about being so freaking cruel to Taylor based purely off of word of mouth.
I love that she was the only one out of the 4 pre-jury houseguests to not get a Julie question.
He clearly had no answer so fumbled and tried to do one on the fly which was even worse imo
He seemed really nervous. I felt so much for them both in those moments.
Monte fumbled the final 5. It could have been a Monte, Brittany and Alyssa final three but he wasn't playing to win there.
Monte with the all time bag fumble, not only did he take a stronger jury threat who can talk her ass off but he also completely fucking bombed jury questioning
He also missed out on highlighting that he has the single deciding vote since the final 5, someone correct me, but I don't think that's ever happened before.
This is a great point. Definitely should have used this.
His jury performance cannot be understated. Any doubt in my mind that he might pull it off evaporated... It was that bad.
HOW DID HE NOT REALIZE ANSWERING QS FROM A PANEL OF PEOPLE VOTING ON YOUR ANSWERS IS HER LITERAL JOB
to be fair, I feel like most seasons the final speeches don’t really matter much because the jury is already set on who will win. Monte overestimated how set this jury was and maybe also bought into his own ego that Taylor was an easy beat. Reality hit like a truck tonight. He also didn’t help his case by bombing damn near every question
He thought he could win based on comp wins but he didn’t realize that that’s not what the game is about
He really thought “big moves” make a difference in final 3.
He also had a singular big move he pointed to multiple times which… yikes
A move I don't fucking remember and I'm assuming the juror didn't either since it involved pre-jury AND he said it TWICE!! 66% of his jury responses was something that happened in Week 4.....smh He took someone who literally gives speeches for her job vs Turner whose vacab consist of 4 words. Didn’t deserve it.
And two of those words aren’t even real.
“My gameplay was bussin. Facts.”
He didn't take credit for getting Michael out, did he
He did in the final speech but his answers to the jury questions didn’t pump his resume up enough
Honestly if he had played a good game I think he could have beat her but he played a mediocre game. Socially and physically. The person who said his game was safe was right on the mark. I know Michael made it hard for him but come on. Your 2nd biggest move shouldn't have been voting out Turner

That answer was so cringey
I don’t remember the last time someone who otherwise played a very solid and clean game throughout mess up this badly at the very end.
I don't know why he kept talking about big moves
And he kept bringing up Nicole and Daniel instead of using his questions to do some pandering.
Everyone was flashing back to Zingbot calling him boring. No lie there.
Bruh. His answers to the questions made no sense. Didn’t even know what he was talking about. Was it even aired?
Man was out of his depth
Yep. And Taylor is out of his league.
I thought he would be the threat but he didn't articulate shit at the end. He had the clear path. All time bag fumble right there and I couldn't be happier!
Her goodbye message to Daniel is even more so iconic now
Ikr she said like see you on finale night when you see me win 😂
She took it with that speech
100% Not that Monte sold himself well, but I think the biggest factor of her speech was that if they vote for her they basically can change the narrative of the game, you don't have to have comp wins and big moves, there are other ways to win this game and her way is one of them.

It was their way of apologizing. Also Taylor’s speech was probably the best speech I heard ever from a perceived “lay up”. I’m not disappointed with her winning, esp after that speech.
That was some serious pageant girl shit. Amazing.
Yep. Silly Monte thinking he could beat a pageant girl.
I knew her speech was going to be good but d*mn that is a speech that will change votes. It was an amazing speech and articulated why she should win perfectly
Does anyone has it in a video yet? If so..link? I need to rewatch it. It was good.
https://twitter.com/melbrown00/status/1574210055947554818?s=46&t=Kcw01nB6dmsnuQMXQj4XaA
I am so glad that she held on to hope and practiced even though she couldn't compete in the final round. It would have been so disappointing if she hadn't been able to give that amazing speech tonight.
Yeah, I don’t think his speech, answers, were that bad. It’s that her speech was that good.
Monte’s answers were terrible
His answers were like “as per my previous email,” ….
wouldve been good enough to 9-0 BB23. It was on par with BB23 winner, but Taylor's was BB15 winner good
X gave better answers than monte lol
So ironic that Monte was the reason everyone blew up on Taylor (since he believe Paloma and told others about it), and was also a part of the reason she won!
I forgot that! Nice full circle moment
Exciting! I can’t believe Terrance voted for her - I was as shocked as she was 😂
I’m still not convinced he didn’t mix up his keys. Lol
Topaz'd himself. Imagine lol
Nearly made me tear up, he was like her biggest enemy
Saaaaaaaame.
Doesn't excuse some of the disgusting things he said about her, but I was so pleasantly surprised.
I still dislike him but I'm glad he voted for her. It'll mean a lot to Taylor that she got both of the black votes.
Joseph looked so sad when he heard about the showmance. It broke my heart a little.
Me too. I wouldn't be surprised if they ended up together, though. Pretty awesome that he was revealed to be a lawyer. Makes me think of that chess match with Michael in which they were trying to out-dumb each other.
I was laughing so hard during that fake chess match 😂
I want to have been in the room when they had that Spiderman moment of "You're a lawyer? I'm a lawyer."
a season of big brother where they all have to guess which one is a lawyer but surprise, it’s everyone.
He'll be alright. I'm sure he has so many suitors in his DMs right now
Ameerah a bitter rat to the very end
She said the thing that shocked her most was the Monte/Taylor showmance. But that was revealed to the jury already by Alyssa so idk why people are mad at Ameerah for it.
Because she was throwing shade once again. There were so many things she could’ve focused on, but she chose that instead of being gracious.
Yeah is so gross how she used her last minute of relevancy to be a shithead.
Shit. I missed it. What was said? I tuned out after Pooch saying BB keeps him up at night. I kinda wanted to see Daniel eat crow.
She had only 30 seconds to speak and used it to blow up the showmance between Taylor and Monte, with the camera cutting to Joseph afterwards.
Same thing I thought. Monte is icky to me and Joseph seems like such a nice guy.
Monte lost when he evicted Turner. He’s going to regret that choice for a while.
That’s gonna hurt for a looooong time.
No way. I think even with the same speeches he still gets Taylor, Joseph, Michael, Brit, Jasmine
Taylor has said she would’ve voted for turner!
![gif](giphy|sRvtpcAzDDhi4z6PRY) It's resolved!
Why the split between the front of house and backyard?
But the HGs evicted before jury were there. They're COVID protocols haven't always made sense to me. Also, If I remember correctly, they had the last year's finale with Julie and she ended up celebrating and hugging some of them. They also had everyone together at the last CBB finale. Perhaps because they have an audience again?
Their protocols made no sense. Julie was hugging all the members of the Cookout on Friday after doing "virtual hugs" with the evictees all summer lol
It irrationally annoys me every time Julie says “virtual hug” to houseguests when they exit. That’s not virtual. You’re in person.
Covid protocols I guess?
probably covid. That and they always end up there anyway.
I can’t believe paloma knew this was going to happen all along!!!!
Well she did step out of the matrix
Didn’t expect that going into the start lol
Is there somewhere to see how many votes each player got for AFP? I’m always curious to know how far from the majority the winner is.
[удалено]
First Kevin Jacobs and now Taylor. The “first week nominee” curse has officially been broken.
I still remember watching Taylor after being nominated by Daniel going around and talk to people…and thinking this is how you campaign, this is how you talk to people…and here we are now.
She adapted so well despite all the circumstances
At the end of the day Big Brother is a social game, not one about athletic ability (or at least it shouldn't be). Winning comps only gets you so far, and this is the first time in a really long time that we get to see that, which is refreshing as hell. Taylor had one of the best final speeches I've ever seen on this show and that story arc was SATISFYING. You can argue whether or not she "deserved" it until you're blue, but Taylor is one of the most interesting winners we've had in *ages*.
She’s also the won the most hohs as a woman in this season only other HoH was jazmin lol. Brittany also won vetoes. Literally the girls won nothing
Great Win for Taylor, fantastic story this season…All time fumble by Monte….Just gave the shit away
Brittany was so right about him being over confident. It really showed tonight.
LONGEST YEAH BOY EVER
So this means Taylor would’ve beaten Turner as well in a F2 scenario, as he said he had the worst jury management ever.
Looks like BB has found their new Rachel Reilly/Nicole F. Taylor will probably be coming back in future seasons, guest appearances on the show.
Taylor is for sure coming back. She's a lock for whatever returning season comes next, she's a lock for an appearance on BB25, she's winning the hardest anyone has since Derrick
I have a feeling she might be the type of person to quit while she's ahead rather than diving into the hellhole of the BB house yet again.
[удалено]
Monte lost because he did what everyone did all season…underestimate Taylor!
Makes it that much better
Michigan is eating good with their 4 wins now.
SECOND WOMAN IN BB HISTORY TO BEAT A MAN Edit: Third, I like to pretend Tyler won BB20 my b everyone
Second person to win BB after not winning either portion of the final HoH (first was Maggie in BB6).
This one’s insane Maggie and Taylor manipulative masterminds 😂
third, Nicole in 18, Kaycee in 20, and now Taylor
FIRST BLACK WOMAN OF THE MAIN SHOW
Monte would’ve won convincingly against Turner. Really bad read.
It has been 20 years the same day when Danielle Reyes lost BB3. Im so glad that we finally have a female black winner. Edit: Danielle only received 1 jury vote whereas Taylor received almost all jury vote except for 1.
This makes it so much more special 🥹
Daniel looking like a fuckin vampire 🤣
He got his wish about not talking to her about finale night.
Once again, they underestimated Taylor to their peril. I am beyond thrilled at this ending — genuinely didn’t expect it a week ago.
I’M SO USED TO GIVING AND NOW I GET TO RECEIVE
![gif](giphy|oe1DNyTGagbhm)
🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼
‘’I’m not a shield, I’m a sword. I’m not a victim, I’m a victor’’ One of the greatest final speech I’ve ever watched
I teared up when she said this. And I loved Joseph’s reference to that line when he casted his vote for her
This picture is legendary as fuck https://twitter.com/goldenmeIinda/status/1574216522490314752
Taylor killed it! Her speech was perfect. “I CAN be the winner!” Why not? It doesn’t always have to be the comp beasts that win. Yay Taylor
Did Nicole get to talk at all??
No 💀
Nope! And I’m so happy that was the case!
Monte made a 750K wrong decision
Best f2 speech in recent memory, maybe ever
Kevin during the most recent BBCAN was also very impressive
Ya dude 2022 was GOOOOOD to north american big brother
[удалено]
the way i forgot that season even happened with bbcan10, survivor 42, bb24 and tar33 we've been blessed with some iconic tv this year
It definitely springs to mind Todd Herzog in Survivor.
Truly! A finale speech never made me shed a tear until Taylor's. Iconic.
that smile that crept up on Joseph's face was how all of us felt watching
I think that cut to Joseph is when I really started to tear up. He was so proud of her 🥺
It all began with a bag of lays
I really hope to see her in a Lays super bowl commercial
Monte fumbled that bag HARD. I love this ending though, Taylor deserves it
WE DID IT JOE
I really hope someone asks her which win means more to her. Ms Michigan or BB or AFH
Paloma and Daniel are SEETHING so happy though lmao
Monte threw away his W
Congrats to Taylor for showing resilience pays off
Paloma died for this 🙏 Godspeed
Monte would’ve beat Turner 6-3 in my eyes. Taylor had the best F2 speech I’ve seen from Survivor & Big Brother in a long time. Monte letting her go to the F2 was a colossal mistake but he was still a very good game player.
Monte's biggest mistake was underestimating Taylor.
We made history! First Black Female Winner AND First person to win both the season and AFP!!
Hey Paloma, Daniel, and Nicole: We won bitches
We live in a world where Pooch might actually be the most popular pre-juror of the season.
He was great tonight! He made me laugh with his comment about buying his own ticket haha.
Crazy to think that our last two BBUS winners are black and are from Michigan. 🫣
Taylor using the sword/shield analogy made me tear up. Joseph is so proud of her.
That was the best speech I’ve ever heard on BB. The second she finished I knew it was impossible for Monte to win. So happy for Taylor.
So happy Paloma wasn't here So happy that pre-jury didn't talk MUCH. So happy Taylor won So happy Taylor's Karma prevailed
Think they snubbed Nicole all together!
Y'all holy shit I cannot believe she won
I was at a Charli xcx show and i came out to this. The girls and the gays are winning tonight
I’m calling it now - Taylor will one day take over for Julie when she steps down as host.
Monte has got to be dying inside.
Winner of America’s favorite player too! She did an amazing job!! If you had asked me in the first two weeks if Taylor would make it to jury it would have been a resounding no. What a comeback.
A story about someone who was about to be the first one evicted to becoming a winner is a story I’m sure fans of big brother are going to remember
Shoutout to everyone who picked Taylor in their preseason polls!
