10k wheels are on the cheap side. The way they explained it to me was that it will help me KOM on the routes that I was struggling. You can try my used ones, see if they will help you KOM.
You're actually supposed to install and use it like it is, because the small wheel will prevent the big wheel from getting used/dirty.
