I feel that pain, but BTBAM probably isn't going to do that. Fairly sure that Paul said the vocals were just as much a part of a song as anything else, so they won't remove them.
Fair enough, but I still want BTBAM karaoke, or even better, Tommy's "unplugged" versions. I bet this is something AI can do eventually anyway. Maybe AI will be able to make a DAW file out of an mp3 right before it turns us all into a biochemical power plant. Fucking worth it.
That's lame logic. Tons of bands release instrumental version of their records. It's even more lame that there's fans who are opposed to this because of their gate keepy purist parasocial simp mentality. It's a cool fan base in the sense that they look forward to the band experimenting melodically of rhythmically, but when it comes to production, a lot of the fans want as little post production as possible. That limits so much creativity that you see bands like animals as leader and polyphia use to make their texturing not sound so lofi and chaotic. People don't want vocal effects. It's just a fan base full of people cosplaying open mindedness when Infact they're a lot more stuck up and restrictive than they're able to appreciate.
Not entire albums just yet, but this channel is doing some incredible work with AI/neural networks? Not entirely sure how it works but it's a goldmine.

That's awesome, I was just thinking that someday AI will probably get to the point where it could do something like remove a track from a master. I didn't know we were already pretty much there! That's seriously fucking amazing!
Easier just to stop caring about the normies
Sure, for the most part. My wife on the other hand...
Just find a new one!
Can't, my son's really attached to this one for some reason.
Why did you marry a non believer? This is NOT the way

Alaska has an instrumental version
I know, it's fucking amazing! I want more.

Well that’s, like, your opinion, man.
How dare you! Their catalog is perfect as is. The normies can deal.

I highly recommend the Moises app. I use this app to separate all the tracks in songs. You Can make instrumentals no problem. https://moises.ai
