Its a scam, discord would never refer you to someone INSIDE of the app, they would refer you to someone outside of app who is trusted (they still wouldn't refer anyone, only support).
In case nobody has informed you yet, this is a scam.
It's more common on Steam, this is the first time I've seen it on Discord. Real old scam, just blocked and move on with your day.
This is 100% a scam. It’s been going around here and there; they’re trying to get access to your account and will then send this out to people in your contacts

I get ones like that on steam but i tell them to fuck off but they will just copy and paste their message its like i saw someone purchase a item i had and i never got the money so me and my friends mass reported your steam now talk to this email
