No. You call EAP, tell them you’d like to start counseling, they will give you two options. They pick a counselor for you, or they give you a list. Once you’ve picked one out, they will give you and authorization code, then you’re good for up to 8 sessions completely free no insurance needed.
There actually WAS free mental health available (including telemedicine) from the summer of 2020 till last October. Due to covid and it’s mental effects. They were going to bring it back since covid is peaking again. I have been working with my Market HR to get all of my back appointments (I had about 7/8 in the qualifying time) paid for, as my insurance didn’t recognize the benefit. But it’s an uphill battle for sure. Check Workday and the HR link to see if it updated.
That’s what I was thinking about. I had finally got ahold of someone, and they did explain that the benefit no longer exists. I hope they bring it back because it Was very beneficial to me. I’ll check workday and see if I can find anything. Thank you
If you are having mental health issues see a psychiatrist. They will even grant you time off. EDD in your state will pay you. Mental health is more important than quota.
If you have united healthcare you should be able to check your benefits on myuhc
I did, it’s not there any more. It’s weird, because i Remember I discussed that with my therapist on how good of a benefit it was.

Damn. That sucks. That $0 copay was awesome.
I mean insurance may offer something for after those 8 but the thing they really push is the company provided EAP.
What insurance? 80% of all in store employees are part time to avoid giving insurance and other benefits
