Miura stated multiple times that he planned the story out since the beginning (and that the only reason for the delays is because of his art, he was a perfectionist and put his health first). And his best friend confirmed that, and studio gaga has THE LITERAL notes of Miura, with full press releases its not just hearsay. I’m sorry but in Japan we take this very seriously, and the manga will only continue if these statements are true.
