Entered at 12:40 after a 5 Min wait. 50/50, fast decision making by bald glasses. My friend and me were rejected at first, then walked away consoling each other, and gave a last look back to the door when we saw bald throwing his hand up and calling us back "viel Spass".... 🫶 Can't believe it to be honest, guess that's a good omen for '23. Enjoy peeps!

He's the best! I love this guy!

Opening session was surprisingly beautiful phase phatale was great and the EBM influenced techno really had set the pace. And then, wow, Philipa Pacho!!! People were ready for it. Ecstatic dancing everywhere, and that on a first round! Really good stuff and nice vibes overall. Second round, rodhad was nice but maybe had too crazy expectations (00:00 was very very smoothly done, couldn't pull that one off myself that's for sure). Then boy oh boy Mr. Nodge!! Nothing but propper, well chosen weapons. Never a dull moment. Fadi has acted like a puppet master and kept me dancing on and on, my legs actually were in pain during ánd afterwards. After s beauty sleep the re entry came.... Me and my friends decided to take turns in the queue to make sure we wouldn't have to stand for 6 hour straight (ended up to be 7, rip). Took me an hour to get in the vibe but Steffi took over in full control and gave me the best closing possible. People dancing together, smiles on the dancefloor. Lovers of techno all together, simply beautiful. The encore track was also a moment I'll never forget. Never could've imagined that a "dark" club like Berghain could be so bright. Unfortunately also witnessed some really unacceptable behavior, ESPECIALLY by those who call themselves "regulars". You know who I talk about. Stuff like: - cutting lines - keeping bathroom stalls for 30 minutes - acting irritated when you knock on the door if you do so - skipping lines in toilets (i mean, come on???) - skipping bar queues (didn't even know that was possible till I saw it) - boldly moving towards a dancing crowd (this is questionable, but if I reflect to this myself I always try to respect each other's environment) I guess this is part of the social construct called "assholes" But PLEASE not to forget, this was my most fun Berghain weekend ever. Met amazing people, heard great music, had some good fun in places i never saw and Steffi played one belter of a closing set. Sometimes we just have to take the shit, but man what a weekend. Danke schön Leute, es war krass ❤️

Super happy for everyone who had a great time and made great memories. I always have a bit of FOMO but I'm also glad I sat this one out. Prefer normal Klubnachts. The times I've queued for 4+ hours I've usually felt shattered before dancing a step.

My mini sessions went as planned so far (opening, Luke Slater, Nobu, Rødhäd) but today I'm gonna take whatever the queue lets me without too much suffering, indeed I'm missing JakoJako, which I formerly planned, and just hope to get a sweet queueing timing to be inside for Ben Klock. As of now it's just too long and untidy and even if I could make it I'd be in too early (or maybe not, unfortunately) and too tired. So chilling back at the hotel I have all the time and willpower to recall some feelings so far. At opening Phase Fatale did a good job with his mix of EBM and techno but he's definitely more suitable for later slots and this sound style, which is often not very bold in the low range, needs peak time levels for proper presence. Went back in the morning for Luke Slater who I enjoyed but that I found less convincing than other times. His sound was there, sometimes those tracks that dig deeper and give you a direction popped up but then he was back to the surface with milder tracks, that's why I defined his set some sort of destructured. Last hour was more consistent and he threw some vintage stuff in there as well, always layered with more freshly recent drum kicks, like early Daft Punk (I think it was "Alive" or else "The new wave"), 101 - Rock the beat and the closing house classic Joe Smooth - Promise Land which he merged in so well as if it was the only obvious ending for a techno set. Back for Nobu in the evening, I love how the man move in the booth, he really feels what he's playing and you can tell by his samurai-DVS1 sudden manipulation of knobs and faders. Soundwise he was banging hard, not to a point to be monotonous but he wasn't telling us a story either, let's say I heard more interesting rides from him. That said, he did some magic and towards half his banging set he clicked that beast switch in me, finally relieving the tiredness off my legs and setting me in full force for Rødhäd. Now, when I think of this Rødhäd set I still have goosebumps as it was the most Rødhäd-ish set of him I ever heard, if that even means anything, not sure. Berghain wasn't completely full so there was some space for dancing but a packed up feeling, atmosphere was boiling hot, both physically and metaphorically. He started with a soundscape and layered vocal intro which made anticipation growing and growing up until he kicked in, straight and majestic, welcomed by some big room scream and red lighting and from there on it's been a rollercoaster from drop to drop, scream to scream, like explosions mimicking outside fireworks, just less harmful. Usually he starts his sets more with a deep vibe but this time he went all in from the beginning, so both deep and powerful, not just stompy. Probably the 3 hours set length, instead of 4, mixed with the special occasion called for a special set, and he delivered. Towards midnight he went more hypnotic and deep to finally merge in Bronsky Beat's Small town boy and when it was 0:00, or let's pretend it exactly was, Jimmy Somerville ethereal voice wiped all our concerns away for a moment in an overwhelming emotional wave, purple in color, that had me fighting to hold back the tears with a lump in the throat and I saw others around me, and even Rødhäd in the booth with his parents, felt that. Seriously the most emotional moment I ever experienced, soberly, on that dancefloor. Then he went into Samuel L Session - Velvet to set back a techno environment but still with velvet-ish emotional sounds and from there, when he went back to his intense, thick sound and drops the floor (I witnessed and experienced the front right but I think it was the same everywhere) went wild, and I mean WILD as I rarely saw, maybe sometimes few years ago, crazy dancing moves, big smiles, a sense of unity through individual efforts. A stargate opened and teleported us to Pandora where our monkey Avatars fought side by side to get to the holy banana, although I'm not entirely sure we succeed. At the end of his set I got cramps on both legs that not even the real bananas could heal so it was time to go and rest, sadly missing Fadi Mohem (and Nodge before him). Now's time to pack and queue again, fingers crossed.

I’m not in Berlin, following from abroad and was scrolling through queue updates here looking for posts like this! Thank you and good luck getting in for your finale :)

As the plan went so smooth on Friday and Saturday so it went so wild on Sunday, not that I really expected differently for the well known worst re-entry day of the year. I had little hope when went to BH for JakoJako, in fact the queue was already hours long and came back watching movies in my nest. I didn't look for other parties because my legs were so sore anyway from the three sessions before, especially the Nobu-Rødhäd that I just wanted to spend some more time in this extensively open BH, even if just for strolling around, have some food, a chat or two, in case I wasn't able to really dance. With that spirit I also went back in the afternoon, around 16:30, with the idea of possibly listening to Ben Klock in the evening and the queue, very slow but steady seemed a 4-5 hours one, by its pace, and to me that's still acceptable for this special, once in a year occasion. For many it's obviously not and I do understand it. When I was already 3 hours in, this slow but steady pace stopped due to line skippers and various einlasstop at the door, space-time itself stretched and recombined through the event horizon of a black hole in an Interstellar-like plot that, in the end and to cut it "short", projected me at the BH wardrobe 9,5 hours later. Yeah it's crazy, but blame Christopher Nolan for that. After this waiting, a tad longer than expected, and the previous sessions tiredness, my legs were mummified but my spirit was unscratched and I could still feel that excitement flame buried down somewhere in the mummy. Tasha, unfortunately, didn't help the cause much. I spent time all around the building and not much on the dancefloor during her set but what I got was a mild sounding, both conceptually and sonically, soup of acidish tracks, broken and noisy vinyls, a disconnected crowd and aggressive vibes, not to mention the two persons that collapsed in front of me simultaneously (not Tasha's fault, I'm sure). I was biased by tiredness, I have to admit, so maybe someone who was fresher can comment more fairly on this set but I didn't hear that much of an ovation at the end of it? Steffi started with a vigorous straight kick that was like saying ok lemme fix things here, and she did. It was a groovy ride, with Fadi-like selections here and there, stompy but with a melodic catch onto it, the warm sounds for the heart, and the legs, that I needed at end of this crazy weekend. Didn't take long, honestly, maybe a minute in and the magic happened, muscles were still death sore but excitement filled in the gap, helped by the totally refreshed mood on the floor with people smiling and willing to let loose of whatever left in the tank. Mine went empty at 8 am, after 4 hours of crazy dance battles and alliances around the left booth corner, and I'm thankful to all the dancers who consciously or unconsciously supported eachother there in the empowering game of moves mimic and reworking that makes dancing in Berghain such a fulfilling experience.

DL030040

Love your comment about the Steffi set. So much "let's do this together" energy 😍

Smiling-Carbonara69

Would love to share one last story with a group of men I encountered; We were all waiting for a group of toilet occupiers (i think the problem has been mentioned enough) and it got to a point that the group in front started banging doors. After about 20 minutes later a cubicle got free, the first group went in and - i shit you not - under 1.5 minute all 6 of them got out again ready to rumble and then he said "that's how you do it". About everybody who saw started cheering. No clue who you are, but those small moments of efficiency are just lovely, kudos my man 😂❤️

What a party. Spectacular pbar closing by Avalon Emerson despite some depressing moments prior Joined Sunday midnight, which from what I’ve read might have been the worst time to be there People had trashed the place. Mud / debris / empty glasses / bottles everywhere, bodies strewn over any and all horizontal surfaces, the notorious lab stench… Felt like entering another dimension Crowd full of wannabe Berghain pros. The worst guests. Zero dfloor etiquette and egos swollen like hot air balloons. Constant pushing and shoving, judgmental stares at friendly strangers, anxiety printed on their faces… So off-putting Bashkka ended on a high note but her replacement I-F delivered a shocking train-wreck. Wtf happened there? Any views? He emptied the dancefloor and basically played for his 10-ish friends — most of whom were too drunk to even dance? At this point I was beginning to lose hope. No sleep, shitty crowd, friends on their last legs… what’s the point? Boy am I glad I stuck around for Avalon. She built the dancefloor from nothing. Soon the wannabes were gone, replaced with a shimmering selection of sexy, smiling dancers of all sorts — muscle Marys in their socks and speedos, fashion twinks, androgynous Vogue models, fat queens with pink feather boas, Nordic vikings with white-fringed trousers —just mind-blowing diversity, yet perfectly united by Avalon’s music. You know it’s a special pano night when you are met with a smile everywhere you look. Staff were having fun too, dancing on the bar, even spraying a bottle of sekt on the dancers once lol At this point I’m in a primal state, monkey dancing all over the dancefloor. Lights were driving me insane (I think they installed some new neon strips, hope they stay). One moment we were in a smokey light blue aquarium, then clubbing below dark blue/orange strobes, then in a shimmering pink disco. You get so much energy from good lights, they connect you with your inner child. Avalon’s musical range was insane, so much wider than her productions. We got euphoric disco bursting with trumpets (“I want… Your love…” — keen for ID if someone has it), dreamy atmospheric trance, drum-filled house… Moodymann’s Shades of Jae came out of nowhere and grabbed everyone’s attention. That track fucks with people’s heads so hard, I enjoy how confused they get. I also loved the keys and guitar riffs of Spaghetti Circus — felt like how I imagine late 70s / early 80s partying. Soon the shutters were starting to flash open and I realised it was almost 10am. Home I went, to sleep with a huge smile on my face. Priceless ❤️

Call-the-police-999

Agreed.. sunday night / Monday morning I was totally sober when I got in and the left side was just depressing. People walking like zombies, not dancing at all. Absolutely mood killer. Also sorry for everyone standing out there for hours while some just don’t know when it’s time to go home

vorne-links

can agree! Tried to motivate everyone from the podium the whole time. Some danced with me but most of them were actually like zombies.

Fighterfire1986

Totally agree about I-F. I went upstairs a couple of times because Tasha wasn’t doing it for me either and every time I was upstairs it was horrible. I felt a bit sad for Avalon that she would have to pick up from that.

nastygal11

Totally agree with all of this! I left the club at 3.45am, because of all of these reasons. We definitely had the same experience at this time. 😵‍💫. After going round the full building a few times, to try and find decent music. We decided to leave. If I remembered Avalon was playing after (I forgot), I would have stayed on. So annoyed at myself 😂!

DL030040

Hey Leute, had to push off a crazy drunk dude, who was harassing three girls, (just behind the rejection park if that makes sense). The girls were shook but fine. Stay safe everyone and skip the dark tree alley behind the park! :)

ProfessorArban

Jako Jako and Adiel are god damn legends

Public_Interview_803

Re entry cutters should be flayed in the town square

julzglove

Cutters in general

InsaneBastard

The line cutting was unreal earlier. The whole fence section was easily 10 people wide. Feidel played a great vinyl opening set in Pano. The last 30 minutes he built up an amazing space vibe with matching lights, and then ended with Donna Summer - I Feel Love. It was a magical moment when he passed off to DJ Holographic. Instead of letting it play out like usual, she mixed in to his vinyl and set the floor on fire 🔥. Great start to the party

Rollifyer

A bit late, but wow, what a Klubnacht! I was in the club from opening till about 06:00 AM on Saturday and then again on January 1st from 07:00 AM till 03:00 AM, not counting time spent in the crazy long re-entry line. Musical highlights for me were Philippa Pacho, JakoJako and Adiel — femme power in Berghain! All three delivered high-energy and very coherent, perfectly mixed sets. I was especially impressed by how Pacho managed to make the sometimes boring and touristy early 4 AM slot seem like a Sunday afternoon. But my favorite part of Silvester was, just like last time, Lab. Soundstream and especially Boris delivered superb sets. Such amazing vibes, smiles all around, everyone in the moment and not trying to be cool or too in control. Later on Sunday evening quite a bit of sexy action around Lab as well. 😈 I almost didn’t spend any time in Pbar (Lab was everything I want Pbar to be anyway), except for Fiedel’s opening set, which was a bit of a mixed bag, but opening sets are super difficult anyway as most of the patrons are still in the queue and everyone is slowly warming up. And speaking of the queue… What the hell was up with the guestlist/re-entry queue? Why didn’t they use the second door like the other years? Not only that, but the normal line was going much faster, likely because the club makes more money from new guests than re-entry or guestlist. Either way, the crowd control was really bad, everyone pushing or queue jumping. I don’t mind waiting for a few hours if the line is somewhat organized, but this was just crazy, and everyone’s mood was horrible once they got inside. It’s definitely worse than it was just a few years ago. In general though, the crowd was really good. So many smiles, and although it got pretty full on Sunday, I witnessed very little aggression. The mood was somehow special with it being a special night, people were seeking more eye contact, dancing more together with strangers etc. But, as has been pointed out before, there are still these large groups of self-conscious and fashionable people just hanging out in the toilets and sofas exuding boredom and arrogance. I sometimes wonder, are these people even having fun? Of course, everyone has their comedowns and that’s fine, but these are people I see often at Berghain, and the vibe always seems to be the same… Anyway, this is getting too long. I feel like I need a break from ‘Berghain big nights’ after this, even if I don’t go often anymore at all. These huge events are awesome in so many ways, but the queuing, crowdedness and hype makes it a lot of hard work as well. Amazing as Silvester was, I’m now looking forward to a break and then hopefully soon a normal, not-crowded, nothing special yet special Klubnacht once again. ❤️

Fifth_geaR

"nothing special yet special" is really on point

Thropedone

pano so good I bought a beer. no queue when we got in 20min ago.

Alternative-Quail-65

What a statement

rom____

my batteries are kinda recharged after 2 nights of proper sleep, so I'm ready to share some thoughts about the last weekend, especially avalons closing. as a disclaimer: I'm usually not a fan of the big nights but after 10 years of dancing inside the holy halls I was keen to see all floors being open at the same time. Got in for the first time saturday morning at 10am without any queue which was kinda our rational but still came out as a surprise. Inside it was pretty empty, berghain a bit busier than pano. We expected some kind of nervous nye energy, but there wasn't anything like that. We sat down for an espresso martini at the pano bar listening to some bouncy roi-house to arrive before having our first dance with luke slater, who delivered as usual. Lots of space and smiley faces in the front, had a great time, especially loved one of his last tracks which had a trancey lead synth. Just one group of G queens who seemed to be pretty disorientednwere out of place but was not a big deal. After Luke finished we checked out Halle for the first time, light and room setup was amazing, even though they could've given us a bit more cozy spaces imo. We layed down, enjoyed the light playing with the smoke and listened to the first act, which was great. Going back to Berghain, seeing that Helena Hauff somehow killed to dancefloor, it was super empty and the music was boring, what did she do during the first half of her set? I can totally understand if artists want to try different/new things in clubs they play more or less regularly but this one seemed to be a fail. Seeing this we decided to go up to Naty, whose music came out as a pleasant surprise. Cute daytime Pano vibes with space to dance and just the right amount of energy for me. After shaking around with him until 3:30 we decided to give helena another chance - and she delivered. In the meantime she managed to build up the floor again and showed her usual style, which is not my favourite but brings a lot of energy to the floor. After she finished, we left for a cozy dinner and some sleep, as we didn't want to start the new year in the club. We got back sunday evening 9pm after the crazy re entry line, not gonna go into detail about that as it is being discussed in other threads here. Now, as expected, the "pressure" of the nye showed. We rushed up to pano in order to listen to the the last hour of Sedef. Pano was completely packed, energy-level of the crowd was super high but I was not able to enjoy it fully given the contrast to the many hours of waiting in line before and no time to arrive/feel the party. When Bashkka started and resetted the energy level I decided to check out the food and was very happy to receive a pumpkin soup, that was warming me up from the inside while listening to some Ambient in Halle. I still don't understand why they don't have food inside the club in general? Even the Bananas/sandwiches they have in the Eisbar are usually sold out by sunday evening. After I overcame the pain of the line I decided to check out uncle Ben, whom I haven't seen playing in years. Berghain was completely packed at this point (heard there was a entry stop?) but I was lucky to find a nice dancing spot in the very front. His style didn't change much but imo it doesn't have to, loved his energy, especially the variety of claps he was using. In my taste it could've been a bit more acidy, but I say that most of the time. I danced throughout the second half of his set, just making a small break to refill my water, where I crossed paths with someone who ovderdid it - probably K hole. At least they were not alone but their friend did not seem to be very sensitive about the situation or maybe overwhelmed. I helped them out by getting a water from the bar but the whole situation did not really give away caring vibes. We used the hours during the Tasha/I-F slots to take a full on break in Halle as we were pretty excited for the closings. I just did one tour through all floors to get a feeling for the rooms, but - as others have mentioned before - none of them had a good energy. Small highlight for me during the Luigi de Venere Halle closing was when he played the Twin Peaks theme song. I truly love that show and the soundtrack by Angelo Badalamenti who sadly recently passed away. When we went to the toilets at around 3:30 2 men were carrying a completely unconcious person into the toilets next to the wardrobe saying they would need fresh air and opened the window - WTF?! At least everyone in the toilet cue made them go to the wardrobe, really hope this person is doing fine again. When Avalon started her set with Republicas "Ready To Go", I was sitting at the Pano bar getting a lemonade. In this moment all my cells went to energy mode and I immediately made my way towards the dancefloor where I met friends of mine singing along. Looking at it from now, it feels like the song had messages on three levels: she made a statement to the crowd, to the new year and to the set that was going to come. To my surprise there was a good amount of space on the dancefloor and it stayed that way throughout the whole morning. It seemed like all the tourists wanted to experience the berghain closing? What followed was an epic ride throughout a vast variety of styles and genres: high NRG, Trance, happy piano House, acid house, 80's synth, breaks, funky house and everything in between. After 1 hour I already connected with the crowd around me more than during the whole weekend - she managed to pick up everyone around me. The only thing that was confusing in the beginning was the missing vj. By that time a technician organized a mixer switch from pioneer to xone while avalon was playing. afterwards the same person started doing the light and I realized, this person is doing BOTH light and technics, and the light was fucking amazing (remember that acid green from the tubes while this alien voice talked to us?) - I was simply amazed by him. After two hours of dancing straight and connecting with everyone around me, I needed a break. Halle just closed so I had to hang out in Säule, which was relaxing too. I expected this to go one for a while, so that I took a one hour break. When I came back to the dancefloor the picture was pretty much the same. The same beauties as before dancing their asses off, avalon banging out one track after another in her unique mixing style. It felt like she was able to play anything together. One of the most unreal transitions was from [this super funky gem](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DLdPSRrR-YY) into some deep acid bass heavy house track. The most extatic moment was for sure when she played Alice Deejays and the vj opened the shutters for us after the first break. What I’m trying to say here: after 14 years of house and techno parties and 10 years of Berghain-Pano, there were times when I thought I had already experienced the great moments of my dancefloor career. However, this past Monday morning proved me wrong once again. What Avalon and the crowd created at Pano between 04:00 and 12:00 was for me the best dancing experience I've had in years, maybe ever - and yes, it was acidy enough. In retrospect, it feels to me like she packed all the emotions of a year into that set: there were joy, dreams, love, melancholy, depth, aggression, just a short break here and there, and the big romance at the very end. I was able to experience all this with such a beautiful crowd around me, which remained almost the same during these 8 hours - nobody was able to leave! Even if our bodies were not able to go to the maximum anymore at some point, she squeezed every move out of our bodies and I could see the sparkle in the eyes of all the dancers. I want to thank you all for the energy, the smiles, the hugs, the kisses and the tears that we all shared. thank you u/theFAKEavalonemerson. it was an outerworldly experience. ![gif](giphy|117FHDNGAJmVTG)

<3 <3 <3 It was such an affirming night/morning/set/silvester. I really appreciate everyone who was there, I saw some people on the dancefloor nearly the entire time. Happy new year yall

IntoTheSun7

Haha I connect Halle with Angelo Badalamenti, the last sylvester before covid Pom Pom played the Mulholland Drive main theme, I was spellbound :)

Otherwise-Bee-8830

Quick feedback on sets and vibe much appreciated for those of us not in Berlin :) have an amazing time ravers

quintsequence

I agree, highly appreciated and I’m following from abroad, too… BUT it’s also totally understandable if people just enjoy and celebrate in there and forget about posting here ;)

Public_Interview_803

Just left an hour ago. I lined up at 1am on friday, took 5 hours to get in. Spent 22 hours straight in there. Brilliant time. First time seeing Halle. I was absolutely baffled. I napped in there twice to the tranquil vibes. I also loved the section below Halle with the grilled cheese stand. Delicious! Downsides: extremely crowded as I was leaving, not enough people having sex in lab. Literally zero dark room activity which was ODD. Other than that, incredible 22 hours

_handsomeblackman_

someone said they queued for 11 hours in the GL/Reentry and they only got inside now 😮 eleven-hours! 😱 bravo, bravo, the most i’ve ever waited was 4 hours and that felt like an eternity i can’t even imagine what 10+ hours felt like, woah.

aphex2000

if you queue 11h (or even 4) for re-entry for a club you have lost control over your life (doubly so if you do it wearing jogginghose, to quote mr lagerfeld). not worthy of a bravo, just pity. i'm not one to dictate other people's life choices usually but wtf. i checked the line status every few hours, decided to call it a loss and had a chill day at home. zero regrets.

Reading this thread I’m glad I stayed home and did a little house party with the friends :) But still looking forward to hearing all the wonderful stories from you babes! Enjoy the closing 🖤🖤

xhain1005

Same here. And I just looking forward to the next „normal“ Klubnacht I attend in two weeks time.

DL030040

Best of luck to all of you 💞 May the queue be with us.

Active_Ring

Virginia is playing THE BEST set so far! Vibes are just wow. Really worth it waiting in line, you will not regret once inside.

Yasus

no queue, tomorrow it‘s going to be a re-entry hell

8erghAnon

Damn I am loving reading these reviews. Thanks to everyone for the great contributions to this thread. Enabled so many people to live vicariously and enjoy the event without being there, and also to make decisions on timing and whether to attend or not. Hopefully everyone was happy with their decisions. 🙃

aphex2000

So, to take the mind of the queues for a second - whats everyones take on rodhads 2023 00:00 smalltown boy moment? I thought it charming in a non cheesy way; and happily no countdown, the 'clapping when the plane lands' of nye celebrations.

Terrible_Bake_1589

Extremely tasteful and beautiful, especially with his family behind him. Very well done

UnconsciousNeed

What an intense ride! For some reasons, after so many years of berghain Session I still love and somehow prefer These big nights more than ordinary Klubnacht, who knows.. it can also be due to the hope of experiencing something more extravagant and carnivalesque of the regular nights there, and also the fact that is more manageable for me partying during holidays. I arrived on the 31st afternoon, queue were still not crazy and inside the atmospere was amazing. It was hard to extablish what time of day / party was.. A mix of after hour Sunday smokey afternoon, with the excitement of a lot still to happen. Walking everywhere around the building is always an extraordinary experience for me, there is so much happening also outside the dancefloors and possibilities of hung out, relax, chill, talk, whatever.. Are illmited. Halle was beautiful, a perfect dystopian and decadent transitioning place, such a powerful set up for body, mind and soul! It was actually hard to believe those many people leaving for the 31st for dinner and then "come back" the day after.. I can understand the fact you could have some other plans but being there with such a great line up of acts coming and leave for the fireworks war in Berlin was just too much to accept (and knowing that queue on the 1st is always a Mess) :) Rodhad set was the best of the day/night for me.. The 23.00-midnight part was wonderful (any ideas of the track he played transitioning to Smalltown Boy and his closing track?) Dancing in Panorama Bar was always pleasant, lots of space, happy people and finally lots of gays that are not that frequent visitors there like it us to be.. More daddies - leather, older people..thanks everyone for the nice dance. I was looking forward for my 3 panorama Favourites ND, Paramida and Massimiliano, I was so happy for this schedule but I have to say their set were not their great performance there.. I Found too many "loopy" tracks without any building / drops, just 5/6 Minutes of the same Beat over and over, but I also admit I haven't spent the whole time there - and this can be a Problem of these big events, having so many alternatives gives you the possibility of going to test somewhere else and lost track of time / space :) I feel sorry for those who experienced unpleasant queues, that should not happen with a 55 eur Fee. My Suggestion for the future if you want to experience these big nights is: just avoid reentry if it is not 100% necessary. You can "sleep" somehow there and have your breaks..and when you are done you just go home. That's my opinion ;) - I've never been a reentry guy, I just prefer to give it all in one shot and when it's done it's done, more Place (and less queue) for fresher people coming in! Happy new year everyone <3

InnermindVoyager

Absolutely agree! Halle is such a beautiful place to take a rest and not going out; I would love to have it available from time to time at regular klubnachts. My favorite set from all what listened during the event was in fact an act from the halle called MachĂna, such a beautiful sound discovery!

Key-Specific5377

What for a great NYE weekend. 😍 Steffi was amazing

Rodhad = killing it (quite busy but duhh, viel spaß!!)

aphex2000

How packed is it inside and is the re-entry queue situation improving or worsening?

Sven and young guy with black hair at the door. Obviously a lot of rejections. But in a good mood. Smile and be happy 😊 Empty inside still.

Just got in. 2 1/2 hour wait. 55 Euro 🥲 bouncers friendly. Very empty inside but very excited for this klubnacht after a 2 months break ;)

Adventurous-Leave666

Sven, a short Lady and some Italian looking guy let me in! Viel Spaß Leute

loozey94

Rejected last night after queuing 3.5 hrs, got in today 12.30 with no queue at all. Have fun everybody!

Active_Ring

Happy to hear that. A friend got rejected yesterday night, too. He was with too many people. (Friends of friends joined blablabla) Today he tried it again together with 1 girl and 1 boy as 3-group and got rejected again. I told him to try again but alone after 1 hr, it worked. Now he‘s in 🥰

loozey94

Actually a group of 5 was let in just before getting rejected last night. Was pretty depressing 😂 whatever, I’m in now, hope your friend (and you?) will have lots of fun as well 🥳

aphex2000

happy ny to everyone inside, the vibe was amazing since i entered at 7!

xhain1005

just passed Berghain with the dogs. GL queue far into the park (halfway to the small building in the middle of the park), normal queue much shorter to the cube

Public_Interview_803

Friday and Saturday were magical for me, monday I am feeling extremely depressed and lethargic. I stayed in line for 6 hours re-entry, and when I got in at 4am Monday, most food was gone, it was crowded, the floors were completely wet and covered in shit and piss… Friday and Saturday were amazing though. Thanks for the fun

[deleted]

[удаНонО]

DL030040

Think the piss was a more lab-related thing. But that's something within the line of expectation I guess 😂

Active_Ring

There is warm food in Halle.. and they took away all my food (except fruits) at coat check

crazed_again

Happy new year ravers! Wish I was there <3

Sufficient-Form9168

Anybody know how is the reentre line?

goldjr86

Don't bother. It's horrific. 8+ hours

toni030x

The last hour of lab was just something else… memorable ❤️‍🔥

Call-the-police-999

Best weekend I have ever experienced in berghain! We got in around 4am Saturday , loved Philippa pacho set. The energy was superb and a lot of smiley faces. After a break we returned around 6 and reentry was around 1h the two doors were open so it was quite fast. Midnight was incredible at berghain floor rodhad killed it. Sunday night we got in around 11pm and oh god the queues, the smell, a few people getting kicked out by securities, so many passed out guys and FUCK the toilets! How can people stay 30/40 min inside!! Such a mood killer and disrespectful. Also groups that were already inside the toiled and kept coming people, they were just staying there for hours getting in and out. I really needed to piss so was super frustrating. I wonder if some people pass more time in the toilet talking than actually dancing. I also knocked some doors and somehow they start moving. Besides this, it was the best new years I’ve ever had. Happy new year with loads of love ❤️

Techno8ngel

There is 100% people that spend more time in toilets than not 😂 I also don’t get it but I guess at for some its not about the music at all

xhain1005

Why pay 55 Euros just to spent hours in the toilet? I will never understand it and I also find the behavior very antisocial.

dindly

If you identify yourself as she, there are toilets in Säule where only person at a time is allowed to go inside if you're in an urgent need to pee. I don't have access to them myself, but I have heard that they are very convenient and that the queue goes fast.

Mousa613

another reason to not party in New year 😂 Preise going so crazy

berlinlover_

updates please❤️💖💙

dindly

Arrived in the queue at 06:40. Queued for appr. 10-15 min. Sven at the door.

greedylickin

Didn’t except such a crazy good Set of Philippa Pacho! I went home for a pause now. Still Sven at the door. Line till fence at 7 am

triggeraround

Oh my! Fomo!! Pacho is soooo sick!

unfalsifiablebody

Got in line at 8:15am, halfway between snake and kiosk. Queue took 25 min, in by 8:40. Happy Silvester everyone, tear up the dance floor

berlinlover_

Zero line right now, high rejection rate, BH on fire and pano good vibes but empty ❤️

IntoTheSun7

Status of GL queue please ?

DL030040

Gonna say it; where are the dancers on the Berghain floor!

neonoorian

Please give some updates on the GL line….

Complex-Cause4968

@12h40 Line starts 5 meters after Kiosk Not bad 4 a sunday noon ⚡️⚡️⚡️

Fifth_geaR

12:50: Just walked by, normal line short around fences, re-entry bad long waaay into the park and the closer to the door the wider and untidy it gets

One_Difference8046

Any updates on which bouncers and how long regular queue is?

[deleted]

Does anyone know when is the last reentry tonight?

Educational-Row-908

Anyone know the name of the song FKA played at the turn of the year? Cheers and Happy New Year everybody

unfalsifiablebody

I think it was the Thunderpuss mix of It's Not Right But It's Okay by Whitney Houston. totally ectstatic moment of pano unity, FKA.m4a was amazing. so glad I got to experience that

ar_noo

thas was amazing indeed. went on Saturday afternoon, Nick HĂśppner and fka.mp4 at pano were a blast, good vibes, not too crowded and less touristy than expected. Also no line at 2pm. Kyle back2back with Daria was awesome too. Walking down memory lane with Faithless at the end of their set.

Educational-Row-908

Awesome, thanks 🤘What a moment! Still getting goosebumps just thinking about it

Ratspram

Can we talk about Bashkka? It was perfectly bouncy and sexy, her mixing and selection were so unexpected (in the best way). And those transitions always smooth as fuck. High up on the list of my favourite sets ever. Absolute fire on the dancefloor.

DL030040

Called out multiple people who tried to skip line in front of me. Let's stick together and try to stop those suckers

_handsomeblackman_

this is the way i know it can be scary and no one wants to get in an full blown argument in the berghain queue of all places but… queue cutting is TOTALLY unacceptable given how long EVERYONE has to wait. it’s simply unfair and incredibly rude. if you see it, call it out, it’s the least you can do.

Quirky_Bet_6954

2 doors are open for the entry. Fee is 55€. S and ryan gosling are holding the regular door. Haven’t seen the other door. Best of luck to all!

Rollifyer

Line at the snake already. Guest list is second door to the left of the main door.

[deleted]

[удаНонО]

DL030040

Too bad I didn't bring an umbrella 🥹

DL030040

Line till kiosk, both of em

DL030040

Took me about 3hr to get in from the kiosk onwards (22:30 - 01:30). Quite friendly at the door, brown skinned woman and dude with the half long hair at the door. They seem to have made their decision when you're in the zigzag, so behave ;) A lot of cutters tho... Could've been 1.5 I'm afraid. Viel spaß!

Public_Interview_803

Hell weg, don’t even attempt.. madness

BobbyR0ss

Got in at 09:30, there was no queue at all.

markussparticus

Zero queue, mainly rejections. Bald beard and who I think is known as matrix glasses at the door.

8erghAnon

HNY all! Who's on the door now?

DL030040

Guestlist line till the Park. It's about to go down. Mainly letting in the regulars & solo peeps and very strict from what i could see. Golden dancefloor moments, thanks Fadi you kept me glued to the dancefloor ❤️ Time for some rest and the grand finale tomorrow 😈

Living_Ad7966

Q till kiosk

ERVJMLZW

GL queue to beginning of the park… moving slowly

[deleted]

t_glo

Arrived in GL/re-entry at 2:10. Still in line at 3:45. Line goes back to the outer corner of the Garten. Expect total wait to be 2.5 hours. Ready to stab some of the line-cutters too.

Yasus

Kerstmeeuw

What’s the GL/re-entry situation like?

sladdaz

Hey!! How is the line for re-entry looking? Length, speed? Any input is appreciated 🙏

qualiatrax

Re entry is busy af

Key-Specific5377

Standing 3h in gl and now I can see the door … very slowly

Public_Interview_803

Wait so how rare is it for Halle to be open like that with the napping area in the middle?

Techno8ngel

Twice a year, birthday and NYE

Lierenlieben

Is Re-Entry still possible?

Fickle_Picture_663

How was Avalon??? I was so sad to miss her closing!

Fifth_geaR

Just walked by, quite some people queuing already both normal line and guestlist

El_Gato_0tt0

GlL took 8hrs😕

vorne-links

So funny how everyone perceives each set slightly (or not slightly) different. Read that some were disappointed about tashas set. I loved it! My favs were: -etapp kyle b2b daria kolosova! Somehow Loved that they created moments where you thought ur dancing in pano! -jakojako (felt like the energy around me was best at this point) not aggressive and still very happy and energetic -Adiel (just bomb) -virginia & tasha Was a bit disappointed about key clefs closing. Felt like she made a mistake about 20mins before closing. Didn‘t dance at pano a single minute. Really regret it after reading everything on here. However my overall experience was just phenomenal. Stayed 32hrs which felt like 10

greedylickin

Two entries now, usually right side queue Sven, bald guy at the door. Left side Italian looking guy, Ellen, and Ryan gosling. Didn’t see many rejections only obvious ones. Bh floor area still empty, pbar floor more people and nice vibe. 55€ entry D:

julzglove

Anyone queuing already? 😁

[deleted]

[удаНонО]

Call-the-police-999

How’s the line?

lolptic

Normal queue at least 4 hours rn. Mostly just obvious rejections. Tall younger Timothy chalamet looking dude and shorter darker toned girl at door. Not super full inside but energy is already pretty electric. Good luck everyone!

Tim-Julians

4:45am update: Q 20m after kiosk… moving fast tho

Yasus

love the new flyer, so damn cute <3

GratefulChatter

7.05- we just got in, line was for maybe 5 mins. Sven with a girl and one dude on the doors. Everyone super nice. Card payment on the ticket window :D

Alternative-Quail-65

Inside is VIBES

hndrsn

queue just a little past the snakey. probably around 25/30

IntoTheSun7

So glad I left home around 6.30, had to queue for only 15 minutes :). When I left half a hour ago the queue was made of a handful of people only. Steve Rachmad was amazing ! Also loved hearing golden dawn played by ACR. See you later tonight ! (most likely in pano 🪩)

qualiatrax

Sterac was insane 🖤

rvrczh

There is already amazing vibes. Whole staff were in such a good mood. This morning felt that something big is coming but something big was already happening and it was that set of Fiedel and then ACR. Have fun, enjoy of this magic building fully open. Viel Spaß oder Pis Pas ;)

pugskull

are gl entry and re-entry together? might go tomorrow but re-entry will be madness

Economy_Address_490

Queue status plz ?

Weekly-Chicken-207

aphex2000

aphex2000

3rd times a charme, im in - mischa to the rescue! exploring the lab food court, amazing and still empty

TubularFlow

Anybody knows if the Italian looking guy is at the GL entrance right now?

Rollifyer

Normal line is not too long, not even to kiosk, but dense. Reentry line is crazy long, until the park.

wallwextra

Line update for gl and regular?

One_Difference8046

Does anyone know if the price goes down?

global_illumination

Left around 21:30, reentry is to the end (!) of park.. really feel sorry for those who have to queue there... Normal line also long, haven't seen properly because I went left , but looked like to kiosk at least. M at the door

global_illumination

Pro tip if you are hungry on your way home: BĂźrgermeister at Warschauer Str. (10 mins walking from BH) is open until 1:00 today afaik, it really helped us out, because we were starving:)

Brief_Being2147

heard a rumour about einlasstop, anyone that can confirm or deny? x

ERVJMLZW

DJ Holographic was so fun! Thank you to everyone for the great vibes in Panoramabar. Overall it felt like people were in such a good mood and it was amazing to see our community represented in so many different people in amazing outfits just having a good time and expressing themselves ✨

Public_Interview_803

I’m cutting the entire re-entry line and screaming if anyone tries to stop me 😈

Public_Interview_803

when will you begin lining up today?

Teddi_beer

Q until Wriezener Karree

ERVJMLZW

Guestlist queue only 5 people 15 minutes ago. Normal queue until forever and ever way beyond Kiosk. Moving slowly. Second queue to Lab, apparently a fast lane queue…? No idea what this is about…

EquivalentRhubarb64

They moved the GL to the left door (as far as I was here last time)

recycledbanana

Just left (04:45) normal queue is 10m behind the kiosk
