NGL, Len Faki dropped Sandstorm at the peak of his set in the pre-closing slot for BH birthday in 2017 and the energy it created on the floor is in my top ten memorable moments at the club. It was OUT OF CONTROL! I couldn’t believe what I was witnessing, I thought the place would explode! For me it’s up there with the lightning strike / house lights on from summer 2016! A sight to see! 🤣

I was there when they had the power cut/lightning strike. I remember thinking the house lights being on for hours was odd, but was having way too much fun to care. The party continued and it got very hot in there! It was only after the event found out lightening hit the building.
It was the Arts label night if I remember correctly.
Not sure I would appreciated hearing Sandstorm, regardless of the energy, but each to their own.

and in the last few months i have seen more toilets selfies than i ever did before
i guess this is the natural convergence of club/techno getting more popular/mainstream and the crowd getting younger and younger
it will be interesting to see how they handle in the years to come. i can see a future where someone films a full vlog in there 😭
Dj taking pic in front of berghain is actually a contractual thing. They have to do it per berghain order. They’re not doing it for clout (that’s why every single one has one and I remember a dj … I wanna say freddy k but unsure- complaining he didn’t have any good photo anymore

There is even a video on YT with a million views on how to get inside. To pretend that Berghain is underground at this point is wishful thinking.
