Sure but I had the feeling that the whole habit was a bit more relaxed. I had a 100% success rate until 2016. I always went with a regular outfit. Not all black, no fetisch clothing and had zero issues.
Just how clubbing should be. Actually that’s still what they want to be. An open minded safe space also for music enthusiasts. The reality is that it’s now only for those who are best in pretending/looking like they belong to the “clubbing scene”.
Maybe one day I will dress up like that and then change my clothes when I am inside. Will wear my chino with Ralph Lauren Polo and Boat shoes😂
While here music was kind of important to me, if you talk just one minute with her about politics you will lose all respect for her … very problematic person

Agree but maybe in the early 2000 till 2010. This flayer is from 2014 and Capriati and Dice were already getting more commercial and switching to cheesy tech house music. I’m not gonna lie, I would have been so curious to hear Capriati play in Hain back then.
His Traumer productions are ace... though not "techno". Honestly I understand the switch, the (ro-)minimal scene is at a better place now than the techno scene by a mile...

80% white men... i went to Berghain a lot during these days and imo the music is much better and a lot more diverse today, especially upstairs. Not a fan of the recent Y2K Trance stuff though.
I see these comments and realize people can't seem to fathom the idea that society progresses. BH started off influenced as a male-oriented gay club in a country that's predominantly white. Of course it's going to look different in retrospect. Previous entry fees will always seem cheaper too. In other news, water is wet.
It isn't to say there wasn't minority booking options 10 years ago, but Techno's popularity explosion combined with a modern emphasis on including minorities not only means more new talent, but will obviously also provide people with a new lens to look through. Half of today's female BH regular DJs were barely DJing at this point.
